Just a better explanation than Gotham... never saw the opening smother... Jerry is once again the man. I'd like to see a match between the two! Neva happen of course.
he gets a grasp on the situation so quickly, both in terms of dominating the position and in terms of quicklyunderstanding its requirements. Thanks Jerry.
@mr.cook5 probably would've liked to win, but I believe he only had the one shot against Magnus. Grind of a match... Was incredible how they played ultra precise and tied almost every game until the blitz. Problem is defending every two years, and in the meantime the game is evolving online to favor faster and less predictable play.
Liking before watching, as is customary.
Sounds like a plan. 😎
ah, the appreciation gambit

thanks Jerry, my favorite chess streamer for all time!

I like jow Caruana brought himself back into the game from a super difficult opening. Chess 960 is great fun when they have classical time controls
I wish you were the commentator for the tournaments instead of what we have now.
Thx Jerry 😊
I was expecting Rxh7+ at 13:09 when you said Magnus played the top move but it doesn't quite work after ..Kxh7 and Ng5+. There's no followup to Kh8.
How odd is Fisher rabdom? Or bestter?
This is the future of chess. Carlsen and Caruana move on to play freestyle, while Liren and Gukesh play out the Classical format.
I think Fabi still would prefer to be the classical world champion tho... am I wrong?

Nice to see Carlsen conquering yet another Chess Format!
as i saw first fisherchess i thought wtf? but now i can see benefits and the fun that this kind of chess is
Jerry, please do an analysis of Alireza Firouzja vs Liem Le from Titled Tuesday 19th November 2024 (late tournament)
Thanks for this. I found the live feed unwatchable. Between Tania's shrill voice to long delays, I couldn't be bothered.
i feel kinda bad that it bothers me so much but the combination of the timbre and accent drives me crazy.
Yea anything with Tania i don’t watch. Way too sensitive for that piercing voice
LOL W comment thank you. It’s annoying to miss out on good streams when she’s commentating
She just can't stop yapping
She is hard to watch, her and Anna Kramling
Rook takes b2 might be better if, as a preparation move, the other rook comes to c8 to push the queen away?
Freestyle chess is called Chess960
How do you have a 115 heart rate while sitting down ?? Caruana must have just got back from a swim 😅
Chess can be intense!
@ChessNetwork now that i think about it, your last second pre-move wins do get the heart racing 🙌
Thanks Gary, awesome video 🎉
They should stop calling it freestyle or 960. This is Fischer random
"Fischer random"=wack, if it's going to be a supported variant it shouldn't have a player's name in the name
960 is a good name
Bro respectfully nobody calls it freestyle chess
Freestyle chess is about 1000x more of a marketable name than Chess960
The name of the event:
“Freestyle Chess”.
I blah blah blah blah and I blah
