What a fantastic mate by Kasparov. And great analysis. The Westerinen attack is named after Finnish GM Heikki Westerinen. We have an 88 year old club member who played regularly against him in tournaments up here in the Arctic. He is proud to have beaten him. The game was reproduced in Aftenposten Norways biggest evening newspaper. Thanks Jerry.

Jerry’s like to view ratio is double what most would consider good. And deservedly so. Great content. Thanks.

I love videos of old players. Remembers me of when I was learning the game, constantly reading about these greats

It was a nice game by Black, especially considering the rating difference. I would be very pleased to lose to Kasparov in this way.

Kasparov was always something else. Magnus is the more exact player overall, but when he came on the scene kinda felt like a let-down. Garry always was going for the kill from move one.

Wow! Fantastic play. Great analysis of that game. So many different ways to checkmate. Your the best! Keep up the good work. "Each waking moment is like a rung on an endless ladder. We climb, only by rising from those which have come before. But we climb only upward". ---- Caine

10:06 As kasparov said, Nf5 worth more than a pawn and will win the game itself.

Cool opening. Love some double fianchettos! Did you say 1500 point difference? Molly played pretty well considering that vast gap.
