It was early in his career that Fischer first got the idea for something he would eventually invent that totally changed all of chess forever - the increment clock. 😮
"Kingscrusher: Fischer's Smile" showed me this game years ago. Great illustration of priority in chess and looking for a deeper move. Beautiful discovery
@@johnsmith1474 What’s the matter with you, making silly ‘correctional’ responds to nice comments on a chess video ? You come off like a complete imbecile ! Didn’t you notice the comma ? A comma is in fact a ‘punctuation mark’. You could’ve with great benefit taken use of it yourself. I reckon you’re likely some befuddled juvenile with nothing else to do.
i don’t understand why Sherwin didn’t take the pawn on e4 twice? also i just realized if it is possible i think it will be very helpful to have the evaluation bar throughout the moves…at this point i should mention that i’m very low rated chess player just in case my question and suggestion is out there :)
I like the narration, the play is not so clear to follow, as a variety of arrows, or no arrow, are used to indicate recently moved or threatened pieces. I suggest perhaps sliding the pieces, or be consistent with two differing types of arrows for moves and threats.
Ra4-a8 Rf8:a8, Bd5:a8 Qg5-e3! (not verified it, just found the moves looking at the computer screen) or even better maybe Qg5-f4 threatening mate at h2.

Cool! Where did you find out about this?
Also Fischer Random, aka Chess960 🤩

This game just reminds me how much of a wizard Fischer was.
Truly remarkable man.
Ya, I like it when a question-mark move turns into an exclamation point upon further review. ;)
This Fischer guy seems pretty good at chess.
I think he has the makings of a Grandmaster.
great upload, thx for this clear and instructive walk through an amazing gem from Fischer
Punctuate. Write in English not in juvenile code.

Glad your channel is going good mate your awesome, and you seem to love Bobby what a legend, my fav player then Carlsen next
Jerrys main channel is "chess network" with over half a mil subs, if I'm not mistaken.
You've got Fischer listed as a GM here, but I believe he was only an IM at the time. He became a GM the following year, 1958.
thx dawg...
Great attacking chess!
Edge pin mates are easy to miss.
10:19 it looks like Ra8 could save white after Kh8

Ra8 Rxa8 Bxa8 Qf4, and it's game over.
The other line would be Ra8 Rxa8 g3 (to stop Qf4) Rf8..., There's no saving white.
Too much narration and playing through various alternatives interrupts the flow of the game.
Easy to forget he was 14.
Hey Dog.
your camera and lighting is so good you look like you were generated by an artificial intelligence.
For all anyone knows, YOU could be artificial intelligence lolz
Maybe they trained the AI with footage of Saul Goodman.
