I don't think the characters should have believability as a shooter. Just like king shark, who would have thought he would be shooting with heavy lmg's. It seems more that they can do whichever they want to bring in. Also looking at recent trailers you can see those plants like Poison Ivy had. I don't think she is dead dead. They'll probably bring her back and i think she would be really fun to play as. They can do alot of things with her plants and nature. Also would think Bane, Enchantress and Killer Frost would be good characters to join
Bane would be sick! Though I’m sure rocksteady don’t want it to end up suicide squad consisting mainly of Batman villains ! I think thats fair on believability !
I’d like to play as Red Hood, Deathstroke, Vigilante (with the Peacemaker series design) and Firefly. Now I get that 3 of 4 of these are more of guns and maybe the same with grapple but maybe give Jason Todd the melee mix of both hand to hand and knife combat with the dual pistols from Arkham Knight, Deathstroke with the sword and staff while also using snipers and assault rifles and grenades, Vigilante could as use his sword or chainsaw for combat and finishing off enemies while Firefly can help with air support. Deathstroke, Firefly and Red Hood skins could be implemented from both previous Arkham games and skinss drone outside media like comics, movies and shows and maybe some arsenal from said outside media
Damnnn didn’t even think about Black Manta, if they’re serious about the endgame live service element they might aswell go all out and give us raids. How sick would an Aquaman raid boss be where you can unlock Black Manta to use for it
Kinda disappointing how characters don’t seem to differ much from each other gameplay-wise, but I’d love to see Cheetah playable since she’s my favorite DC villain. She has been part of the Suicide Squad before and has experience using firearms, her running at high speeds in all fours and leaping would be her traversal. She’d bring savagery in close combat with her claws, fangs and tail while using a machine gun from long distances. I’d also love to see how she interacts with Wonder Woman.
There is DLC update by Miller Ross. There are emojis to give you a clue. All I know for sure Katana, Killer Croc, Killer Frost, and even possibly peacemaker or Deathstroke coming to the game. All I know is that we getting 6 DLC but even 12 or more DLC.
I would love to see Katana as a character. She could use a crossbow, throw shuriken and of course use her sword. Also Peacemaker would be good and Polkadot man maybe even Mongal
My list for playable characters is soooo long However, limiting to characters that could use guns I think l Live Wire [move around like electricity] Killer Fost with the frozen glide and DeathStroke with a pole vaulting kind of move. Characters I'd kill to play in this game though would include clayface moving around like sludge when I'm not a monster human hybrid or Parasite an ability to absorb abilities health or general power from other would be so much fun. Can't wait to see what's next

One thing I haven’t heard answered yet is if we’ll be able to use the dlc characters when playing or replaying the main story, and how that would work
That’s a really good question, I expect you’ll be able to replay it with them , maybe they just don’t show in cutscenes
