FightMasters Documentary Series: Orlando Roach
Kyokushin 'Knockdown' Karate Expert Orlando Roach is one of Europe's foremost practitioners for this 'full contact' style and is the UK director for Kyokushin Karate, he has trained extensively in Japan and is also one of the founders of Tokei Centre in London, one of the UK’s top martial arts centres.
RIP Sensei. The very best instructor I have ever had. Gent, coach, mentor, friend, brilliant beautiful person.
I'm sad to hear that the Sensai passed away. The main website doesn't mention this, but still lists him as the instructor. Do you mind clarifying please?
@@db9544 Suddenly passed over a year ago. Still think of him when I train by myself. I always feel behind in class. No one would want to work one on one with me or spar with me as my fitness was appalling. Sensei never left me out or doubted me. Always FULL of excellent advise on and off the mats. Sorley missed. I have kept up my training on my own, but naturally its not the same and struggle not to develop bad habits.
RIP Sensei.
Rip Orlando
A respectful, thoughtful, informative and engaging piece. Very much like the approach of the writer/host and the videography. I'd like to train with Orlando Roach next time I'm in England! Thank you very much.
THIS IS FROM YOUIR STUDENT I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL SENNSEI WOO
I love karate do..but I spend all my time training wing chun..
No mass Bitches wing chun is a great system also. As they say, it’s not the style, but the artist OSU
Are you planning any more videos in general, and specifically within Karate? Would be good to see some Okinawan Karate styles - Goju ryu, Uechi ryu etc.
Hi Al, as my initial training was with Japanese instructors I most definitely want to look at the origins of Karate so an Okinawan system will be included if we manage to find sponsorship/funding for season 2.
For your interest, the last 2 episodes of season 1 (currently in edit) are Ninjutsu and Shaolin.
If he's not getting paid then he needs to start his own club and take those students. It's takes a lot to keep 30 students, ESPECIALLY in a full contact style.
where is that club
London Bridge
Lee Potier cheers guv. Too far for me. I'm in Cheshunt.

the worst side kicks ever
Christopher Rodgers it's not about pretty little kicks it's about effectiveness, in a real fight if you are worried about how you look your already dead.
Eli Smith dude I didn't mean that the whole kick was wrong a well executed kick looks good and can do the damage as well
+Eli If you don't kick right then it won't do any damage at all.
Matt Mosley. Haha...kicks don't work silly martial Arts guys...
Yes...but work better than the fancy ones...
