  • I recently received a free popcorn popper to review. I have used it several times and it is wonderful! It is really easy to assemble and clean up is just as easy. I recently shared its ease of use with some family members at a graduation gathering and it was a huge hit. The process of popping the corn couldn't be easier, too. All you need to do is add the specific amounts of oil and popcorn, put the cover in place, plug it in and turn it on. That's it. Waiting for the popcorn to pop is part of the fun. Once it starts, Whohoo! The clear plastic cover allows you to see it all happen. You can make 6 quarts of popcorn in just about 7 minutes with this gem. One way this product could be improved would be to have some sort of timing mechanism that would allow you to step away from the machine while popping the corn. Since it doesn`t turn off automatically, you have to monitor it closely so the popcorn won`t burn. Other than that, I recommend this product to anyone who enjoys easy-to-make popcorn.

I just recently bought this item at Target yesterday, and I really love it. It works like it's supposed to. In fact, as soon as I put the kernels in after I let the coconut oil melt, it starts popping after about 1 minute. That happened to me twice. I'm very happy I bought this popcorn popper. :)

Thanks for the help. For some reason, I've ALWAYS put the kernels on first, and then the oil. Needless to say, I always ended up with a bunch of unpopped kernels

I have two of these popcorn machines, one in my winter home and one in my southern home. The one in the summer home rotates exactly like yours, one way. The one up north rotates counter clockwise like yours but then changes to clockwise and then back and forth. It helps change the way the kernels are cooking. They are exactly the same machine. I wonder why they rotate and cook differently?

If you are going to review products you really need to have your camera at an angle where we can see the entire product. Thank you. :-) the best thing to popcorn in is butter-flavored coconut oil. Plain coconut oil does nothing for the corn even kettle corn. I have this popper stir crazy has been a name in my life since I was younger than 10 years old.

I call bullshit on white coconut oil giving a buttery flavor!! As a vegan I know very well what it tastes like and I also know very well what butter-flavored coconut oil tastes like!!

Way too much coconut oil! Trying to completely plug your arteries with one batch of super-greasy popcorn?
Way too much popcorn as well. No room to shake the salt around.
