- Lengthy and boring ass video.
If you own a CU2, a lot of this you might already know.
I missed a few things, but it would've made the video even longer.
best car ever. I have over 250k total miles on 2 of em. so far unstoppable
Makes a lot of sense why my weed man been using Acura’s since he started
I had mine 10 years now and just found out how to manually open the trunk thanks to your video 😂
Best part, both generation of the TSX was built in Japan.
You can change the lock time and also change it so when you put it in Park the doors unlock and when you put it in drive the doors lock you have to hold the info button on the steering wheel
I figured that out after a whole year of owning the car😂🤦🏽♂️
2014 TSX 32000+ miles | Nothing But Love 💪🏾💯
Great car! I have an 09 with over 200k miles and redline her daily. Only work I’ve done one it include minor valve lash adjustments at 175k, alternator, and a starter. I did bypass the factory amp (navigation model) to install bumping sound system 😎
Thanks for this vid bro, keep up the work it is actually helpful to a lot of ppl. Keep recording because I wanna keep up with the build because these cars are amazing
Appreciate you. And don't worry, gonna make sure I have videos for my tsx people.
Great video!! You should have added that the center counsel under the arm rest is a cooled “fridge” compartment. I love this car !!
Thank for the video man I just bought a white 2012 special edition tsx yesterday!
No problem, hope you enjoy the car.
Just got a 12 SE and I honestly love it. Wicked Video!
Appreciate it. I wanted to buy an SE but prices were a bit too high for me at the time. Love the rear bumper and lip kit they have.
@@_kanes yea prices to get a 6spd let alone an SE.interestingly enough I like the 09 front bumper style as it looks more fitting. Still though
Buying an ‘11 tsx wagon tomorrow, learned a couple things here
Glad I could help.
I LOVE my *TSX*! Over 192K under the hood!
Can you send it to nigeria when I buy it?
Does it have auto start?
5:00 It’s just a soft limiter preventing you from revving the car out when stationary but you can use it as launch control I guess
how do you do the launch control
I appreciate the info 🙏🏼
If your trunk doesnt open. Make sure you didnt hit the trunk lock button on the left side of the glove box.
Mine doesn’t light up when i unlock it :/ (eu spec)
Don't give up bro continue do what you are doing
Appreciate you for even saying this.

Love my 2010 Acura TSX !!! 6 speed manual 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thanks for the tips
No problem
Hey, quick question. I am planning to buy this car same, tech pack manual 2.4. Is it good on gas? Economy? I'll be using it for uber and stuff.
@@ajaxsid9034 I love this car so much. Everytime I drive it
@@omarfromthewire603did you ever get your O2 sensor replaced?
@@user-vt5tw9gx2j i havnt had to yet. I bought it with 150,000 miles, it now has almost 190,000.
thanks for uploading! Some interesting features
Thanks bro. I got a 2013 Special Edition
The launch controll is a soft limiter (arround 4k rpm), it prevents to activate the vtec on neutral. Do you have an executive? Mine is a 09 Type S Europe CU2 6 MT such a nice car.
Yeah, forgot to mention that it prevents you from hitting VTEC?
What do you mean by executive though?
@@_kanes In Germany we do have some diffrent types of models, Elegance, Executive, Comfort and the Type S, in the Type S there is no sunroof window, half leather seats (like in the Executive here it's full leather), no air vents for backseats and the side mirrior dont tilt down in reverse. So a bit less equipped.
@@arestox Ok, I see. In Canada, we just have 3 trims. Base, premium package, and tech (navigation) package.
Mine is a base so it only has cloth seats, no memory seats, no navigation, no rear vents, h1 halogen bulbs for the low beams, regular stereo, and it may or may not come with fog lights depending on the year you get.
All trims come with a sunroof though.
We also get the Aspec trim as well which is just a premium package TSX with a lip kit or body kit depending on if you get the face lift or preface lift.
Got the 09 tech. I love this machine!!!!
Hey I got issues with the backup camera 2010 Acura Tsx not working at times/ clock is not adjusting to correct time despite me constantly putting it in and the navigation is out of date! Any know how on to fix these issues!
Not too familiar with the navigation package, but I'm pretty sure Acura sold a newer update for the navigation that came on a cd. You just have to swap it out for the old one. Maybe you could buy it on Amazon.
I know the clock for the non-navigation cars is a bit confusing at first. For us, there's an option that says "set" that you have to select right beside the time after you adjust it. Not sure if it's the same for you though.
As for the back-up camera, all I can tell you is to make sure there are no loose connections.
Hope this helps.
Ok I’ll try the loose connection approach and I did see something online about Acura selling a dvd update I just wanted to get some more expert knowledge on it before I made a move on the dvd 📀 also I saw a PC Card slot too wondering if that is a better costly more secure approach than the dvd 📀. What you think?
I'd get the dvd if it was my car.
thanks for the tips man
No problem man
In America they all have leather seats and fog lights and hid lights
I have a 2012 with 140k. I love it.
Thanks for the vid. I needed the info.
Anytime
I've seen some tsxs have a tiny air conditioning vent to the center console it doesn't get too hot or too cold
Yeah, I think it's for face-lift premium package and tech package models
Yeah, the vent in the center console is to cool the inside in case you have a water bottle in there you want to chill. It reroutes the cold ac air so if you’re not blowing cold air it won’t work. So pretty much only effective in warmer climates/seasons.
That tiny one is inside the globe box aswell. I have accord euro 2011 sat nav luxury version
Does the 14 special edition have speakers in the rear doors?
I have the 2013 SE and the back door speakers aren't usable. It's only for show.
Thanks 🙏 a million you’re dope!!
What is the cost of ownership like? Could you also share the fuel efficiency of the 09 Acura tsx?
Very low maintenance car is all I'll say. As for fuel efficiency, I get about 500km a tank with 80% city/20% highway. I think some people pushed 1000km on a tank on the highway with the automatic.
@@_kanesCan confirm that 1000km is probable. Made it 400 miles and used 7/8 tank. But I was going on the Pennsylvania turnpike from Ohio, so I had a lot of mountain terrain. Only vehicle I have that can get to Gettysburg from Dayton on a single tank. The headlights are annoying to change, but the OEM lasted until 2020. But I have had to change both headlights twice since 2020... Only complaint I have about the TSX is the leather seat quality, the steering wheel finish, and the now outdated navigation system. Navigation can be updated with a DVD in the trunk space, steering wheel and seat covering will just need replaced after a decade of daily driving. There is an engine and air bag issue on some models, but any Acura dealership will fix that for you for free.
Great vid brother !
Thanks man
Great video ! Cool quirks and features. Except the launch control bit… I don’t believe that is a stock feature, unless you’re talking about pedaling the brake and gas
Thanks. I'm not sure if the limiter is there so you don't over rev the engine when your car is parked, but you can use it to launch the car.
@@_kanes so how do I launch control ?
@@_kanes so how do I launch control ?
It's hard to explain via text. Just search a video on it. There's a lot of videos on UA-cam that could demonstrate it better than I can.
@@_kanes not really, can’t find a single one with the CU2. Not sure where you got the info ?
Cool extra way to pop the trunk, but why not just use the manual release on the front driver's side?
There's no manual release lever, it's all electronic.
My 2009 euro Civic fn4 type S has the electric folding mirrors. Surprised this Acura doesn't have them.
Keep doing what your doing bro 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate it bro
Mine has 290 000kms manual
Is this car good for doing uber and stuff?
Yeah, did Amazon deliveries with the car no problem. Only thing is the rear seat space is a little tight for taller people.
Do you recommend me this car as my first car?
@@sergiocruz9685 if you have money for premium gas, then yes
You just got a subscriber!
Mt tsx so fire got an auto didn’t know they made a MT
As a tutorial how to connect it to Bluetooth please
Press the "answer call" button on the left side of the steering wheel. Then say "pair device" or "pair phone" and the car should guide you through on what to do.
Yes just like he said follow the instructions and press the aux button (if u have base model) to go into bt mode. It was hard finding this info online
I have a CW2 wagon myself
If you need help with mods lmk! My auto makes over 225whp I know the manual can do more.
For sure. What mods did you do to make 225?
I want to get that kraftwerks supercharger in the future, but I don't know if I should mod anything in the mean time.
All I have right now engine wise is a k&n drop in filter. The most I was going to do for now was get a catback, downpipe and a high flow cat and then tune the car if it's worth it. Idk.
What's up🌟 I have a 09 tsx auto. I would like to know the 225whp formula. PLEASE. Thanks🤠
3in/3.5in custom cold air intake, downpipe, throttlebody spacer, stock throttlebody, 2.5in or bigger exhaust, and either rsp, rbc, rrc, skunk 2,intake manifold, or port the stock intake manifold. And Hondata fladshpro. The stock intake box modded with a 4in tube from the bottom of the intake where the resonator was and a k&n or other drop in filter is a decent cheap intake mod, my car made 223 peak whp using the modded stock intake box and intake arm. Most of the gains were from the intake manifold, the stock one is great for tq but not soo much for topend in stock form. But modded it can free up some power. Google k24z3/k24z7 intake manifold swaps. If you swap to any oem k20 intake manifold port match it to your head on the runner side and port the tb side to match the stock tsx tb or whatever tb you decide to run. the k24z3/k24z7 have way bigger ports than the k20, the 223 run was made with a stock port size rsp intake manifold, it has since been ported and the custom intake added and street tuned. Basically treat the engine as a 9thgen si engine and go from there. Manuals will put more powerdown due to less drivetrain loss. Good luck!
@@_kanes kraftwerks kit wont work with the cu2 if you use the 9thgen si kit. The pulleys are a little different and you either need to swap to a merc racing tensioner pulley set or a 9g si tensioner pulley. Best bet hit up rotrex and they can get you in touch with some euro companies that make cu2 kits using the rotrex/kraftwerks setup.
Thanks bro. Really😎
You know?
I never knew there was tsx wagon
It's a very rare breed
I have one! 👍
And did you know that half of the things you've shown here don't apply to half of the CU2 models!!! My luxury navi model wasn't optioned with half of these features.
Crazy. You'd think they would try to make CU2s similar in every country.
It would be nice. It's the same if you want any of the interior "dress-up" trims for your dash/doors or centre console, you can't buy anything for right-hand drive Accord CU2'S. It's only LHD versions that are catered for. Makes me rather angry.
