Tornado is historically known to have harm missiles but then how would the pansir ever get any kills? 🤔 Can't let that happen
If I remember correctly they said in some devblog or news that they won't add HARM.
Because these things were not made/intended to engage small systems like pantsir.
But at the same time we have moon rovers so nothing makes sense. Praise the snail!

"Is the Flarakrad comparable to the pantsir?" As an America main, this is something I feel very strongly, as I am constantly on the receiving end of both: The Flarakrad is only comparable to the Pantsir in the way of being a gigantic truck with a radar dish and missile launchers strapped to the top. The pantsir is basically a better flarakrad because it has more missiles, a longer range, guns, almost never faces russia, can track multiple targets, and the kicker being it does all of that without having to hard lock a target. This means that the person in the aircraft has absolutely 0 idea there's a missile coming for them because they receive no warning, the missile leaves no trail, can hit from so far away, predicts the targets path, and is incredibly fast. Disclaimer: I don't own the pantsir, this is just my understanding of it from being on the receiving end and watching phlys videos.

As an american main im in the same boat, only thing ill bring out that flies when playing at top tier is props to try to god mode hunt off helicopters. Outside of that playing above 10.0 Jets feel useless at least until we get anti radiation missiles in game.
Flakrad doesnt have to hard lock either, just requires them to switch to irst mode after spawning. Same for all top tier spaa

FlaRakRad has no guns, no fancy tracking, and the missiles are slightly worse. Also it has to reload every 2 shots so it's easy to overwhelm it with missiles.

The missiles aren't even slightly worse, after the SACLOS nerf they became considerably worse, despite supposedly having better maneuverability. Source - Have ITO-90M for Sweden which uses them.
Request: Use rocket artillery as intended. Use a loadout of either at top tier with drones:
1. the Soviet rocket artillery (bonus if you include the RBT-5 tactical ballistic missile launcher for MGR-1 Honest John LARP)
2. American calliope launchers (M728 CEV optional)
3. German 15 cm Pz.W.42 and Sturmtiger.
Personally I like the first loadout the best but I’m not fussy, arty larp is awesome regardless.

Best solution for pantsir is lobbing GBUs at 10-15km. Completely possible when you're above mach at 5-10k feet. I recommend you try it Phly!
It’s missile have a range of 18 km so it will hit u before u even drop the bomb. They way i counter it tho is using the terrain (at maps like sinai) to launch a maverick from very low alt at them and then dive back to cover. In flat maps like fire ark it eon’t work tho

I have both US and Russian trees, on avg the Russian win is greater. However I have had the best game kill # w/ US. It is not as much a Russian bias as it is anti GAE. I think US IPs get handicapped.

Russia Top Tier: Best tank and tank lineup, best SAM/SPAA, best IFV, best dedicated fighters, arguably best CAS in the 27k (plus they're the only ones allowed to fly), best helicopters that are also basically the only helicopters that can kill everything....

Meanwhile IRL they are pulling out 70 year old tanks because they lost all the modern equipment.. They haven't even faced off the western tanks yet!

Another day of asking Phly to revisit the A-36, it’s in a baller BR with 2 nose mounted .50 cals and 2 .50 cals on each wing.. Also it can mount 2 500 lb bombs or .50 cal gun pods so thats awesome

Prior to the AA nerfs, i found tunguska to be perfectly fine so idk what they're on about. Shoulda just added the TOR-M1 to russia if they felt like it needed a little boost, not the Pantsir.

I feel like the Pantsir is more suited to Sim battles? Or Gaijin could add actual battle/invasion type games where you advance across Air RB maps in Tanks airplanes and helicopters?

The pantsir is damn near uncounterable in sim unless the nato team has at least 2 helis and 2 air and they all focus the pantsir then maybe but it’s still cracked

Top tier ground sim battles are just joke. If you face soviets, you know that you always going to lose. They get their KA-50s and 52s, vikhrs you can't defeat, Pantsir that can see you even on moon and that's it. It's the same in RB but there you have some chances before they get enough points to spawn their KAs. During mobile infantry I could try soviet top tier vehicles and I find it way easier to get kills and win with them. It's literally obvious on which side Gaijin is.
@@HonzaVinCZ honestly rb is worse, they can spawn a million times and the brain dead russian players can just start spawn rushing from the get go where as in sim you can counter the kamovs then take it easy with sniping and hull down tactics until the enemy is run down.

the buff the the flakrakrad seems to have made it harder to kill anything my reasoning is that the overG it has now makes it so it loosing speed alot quicker, like I tried to kill alot of jets 5km out but the missile just doesnt pull as hard as it says after 3 seconds of turning.

Phly , please play the kfir c7. It has a realy good , i mean a big bombload , as well as a great fight performance. I would love to fly it in WT , but I can't , because I'm still half way through grinding the british tech tree. And I cant purchase items for money . Still the kfir c7 is about to be added the python 3 missiles which are really good , but I don't no when Gaijins gonna add Pythons to the game. For a CAS multirole fighter , it's only got only 32 countermeasures. And it has a slow firing 30mm canons. But it has the fastest acceleration in it's BR, EVEN HIGHER THAN THE MIG 23 MLD! and it's the most maneuverable fighter respectively. Because of that , it has a good energy retention its not going to be a sitting duck after every dogfight like a mirage 3 , it loves to go above Mach 1 . Please play the Lion Cub from Isreal. Honestly the "buffs" the FlaRakRad got feel more like a nerf. The VT1 long range performance has really fallen off. Only comparison I can see between the Pantsir and FlaRakRad is that they are both massive buses that are made to shoot at planes
The only buff to the FlaRakRad that I can remember is that the VT-1 missile now pulls 50Gs or something stupid like that. The range and speed remain the same, so you are still heavily overshadowed by the Pantsir's range and speed.
The speed is not that different, but the distance is. And VT-1 now has a terrible guidance and in no shape or form can pull 50Gs, or it's bugged or it was a lie.

Day 24: The days grind on here in War Thunder. Phly has yet to be spotted. Many of the locals have seen him in recent times. However, every time I try to go and locate him, he’s nowhere to be found. I feel like the Big German Cats are trying to trick me. But I’m not that stupid. I know Phly is out there, testing his metal in the wilderness. Now he just needs to open the armory and grab that T26E4 Super Pershing, which is just waiting to roll out. Although it might need a little dusting. To all those fed up with this i do have a solution. Up close like 6-7 kms of pantsir the missile cant pull much. Just fly in circles around it and most of them just fire off their missiles and waste ammo. I find this extremely satisfying once they are out, bomb then to Kingdom come. I use su22 and the tornado for this. Good luck pilots....

Day 16: Phly, I challenge you to try and get 4 kills with the AA20 Nords in the G91 R/4 in Air RB. You can use them like the fire flash (bait headons) but with a bit more of a punch, pretty fun way to play the G91!

Yep, just got it yesterday. Got the 2S6 right after the missle nerf. With the Pantsir i got in 10 matches more kills then i ever got in the Tunguska.

Idk if anyone noticed but the M18 got bumped down to 4.7??? I played a couple games with it and did pretty decent, it also seems like it got a speed buff. Or maybe I've been playing war thunder to late.

This thing is a pain in the butt to play against as a top tier German main. It keeps me from ever flying higher than the tree tops and even then if I get too close.... All the while, the ka 52s, mig 27s and 29s constantly harsh the ground forces while flying really really high and are practically untouchable for me. Its just constant pain and suffering to play as a German jet at top tier. And nope, The Flarakrad's got nothing on the Pantsir. I have had times when ka-52's would shoot down both my missiles and then kill me with a third... like I said pain...

So I like to play airsuperiority in ground rb but sometimes it feels impossible when I go to kill their helis shoot down lets say 2 that were destroying my team
