    I love how you purl. I'm going to try that your way and see if I like it better than what I currently do.

    Half Linen and Linen Stitch taught me to read my stiches instead of just memorizing them. Learning to read my work was a gamer changer for.

    I’m a subscriber to your informative videos. I appreciate your quiet, reassuring style of teaching.
    I wish that in this video you had shown the back of your completed swatch.

      Hi G Fitz, Thank you for your kind words! I've got you covered - in the beginning of the video, you'll see the front and back of the swatch. 😀

    I have made hand towels and washcloths using the linen stitch but this woven stitch seems to be faster and I like the look. I’m knitting a shawl with this stitch currently.

    I like swatching in cotton with wash cloth size in mind. Then give them as gifts. Thanks

    I think I might use cotton yarn with a size 7 or 8 needles to make a washcloth.

    would you say this is more structured and has more body compared to the fluidity that stockinette for example gives off?

    Could I use this to make a prayer shawl. 65 stitches? Or should I use a different number?

    What do you recommend this stitch be used for/on? What type of project? Thanks for the video. I like that you do a slower version and a regular speed also.

    • @nobleknits
      @nobleknits  4 роки тому +1

      I'm glad you enjoyed the speed of this tutorial! You can use this stitch to make shawls, baby blankets, throws, or even knit it in cotton and use it to make washcloths. 😀

    Hi. Are there different types of woven stitch? Because my pattern has row 1: k1, yf, sl1,yb
    Row 2: p1, yb, sl1, yf.
    There's no purl row before row 2.
    Should there always be a purl row?( by default even when the pattern doesn't say so or expects the knitter will automatically know this)
    Hope this makes sense. 😊
