Often the things we worship are one dimensional only embodying a single aspect. Innocence here seems very innocent of the sins his people have performed against non-believers. Its why his brother Sin is never a true antithesis to him, just something he refused to acknowledge until his hands were red. Hopefully by POE2 we find he has returned from his journey and is no longer just Innocence but something more.
To anybody who thought innocence was bad THEN, look at the monster he is NOW! The guy is a fake out final boss, but still RUINS anyone who dares attempt him.
This song makes me want to get back into the game so badly, it's such a good fucking game, and such a good successor to Diablo, but also still completely it's own game. God I love PoE.
i still don’t know how to deal with that sometimes I can use knight statues or my own summons to block the fireballs, but if I miss they one/two shot me probably easier to just kill him before he can use the attack tbh

after dominus and malachai, this is the best boss fight ever, it really eclipses kitava shitty final boss fight
Kinda wish Dominus still had Endgame Boss levels of HP and Resistances so the fight would last longer.

Man, this is one of the best bosses I have ever seen, and the ost is so epic.
I am glad they recently patched it so both Defiled Cathedral and Basilica (latter is my fav map) play this theme at the boss.
