I love Sirus so much, because with this boss GGG broke the 4th wall - Sirus was essentially an adventurer like us, the players, who grinded the atlas like a madman, achieved imba status and in the end got utterly desensitized and detached from reality. So relatable!
That's not entirely true, sirus got insane because zana locked him and other conquerors with elder in another realm for many years, in order to stop elder from consuming the world, and then locked the map device for them to never return and bring elder back with them. We, the players, activate the mapping device again, releasing them.
This theme is the main reason to why I still farm Sirus. Sure, he might drop something here and there, but he often doesn't. The soundtrack always delivers though.
if only you didn't constantly need to run after him. I get that for first time people you can get them killed that way but once people know how Sirus works it's just a time sink for no reason.
Well actually he never got to farm in the atlas because he was taken into the void with the elder, and locked away for an eternity. He escaped and is suppressing the conquerors into being his sub-servants.

JUST beat Sirus on my 6th attempt. SUPER HYPED! What an amazing boss fight. I gave up on the game after I couldn't beat him a year ago. So glad I re-installed and tried the newest league to give it another shot.

This guy could have been the most OP boss in poe history if he just stayed in the air and covered the ground with storms. Instead he comes down to the ground, clears the storm, n lets us hit him.
"WHATS THE POINT" is his avatar taking over. you can hear the dicotomy of his avatar versus what sirus is, sirus in the end was a man who single handedly pushed Uber Elder back into the atlas, after him and the conqs and zana were pushed to their end, sirus used the last of his strength to push the elder back into the atlas... dooming him self, then spent what was to him multiple lifetimes in the void until his avatar found him. thats why all of his lines are related to "living" or "thrills" but his avatar always is about the meaningless of the struggle. When we push him to the edge he realizes there is a point and a thrill to the struggle "FEEL THE THRILL" - Sirus "OF NONE EXISTANCE" - Orion through Sirus
He wanted to feel alive man, once again, if he would cover Oriath (whole area) in storms, he would feel nothing, so he gives us a chance to try to kill him, upon realising he is close to death, he feels alive once again after so many time. Sirus won in the end, because he got what he wanted, to feel human once again. I mean not even the death of his former friends made him feel anything. I do believe, that the betrayal of Zana upon Elder fight, killed him inside even more, ans the time he spent all alone in the Void just made it worse. You can actually observe how much he was hurt by Zana's actions when you first fight, he says that he will kill you fast before Zana betrays us too, and he arguments his killing intent by: "at least my method will be less painful" or something like this. Sirus sacrificed his own self for the people he vowed to protect, and in the end to "regain" his self, he kills and destroy what he fought for in the first place, truly heartbreaking character with a tragic story.
I feel like the only other song in the game that gets me pumped during the encounter like this are the Blight maps. It gives me a huge rush to make sure that damn pod is protected.
Any chance a version with the voice lines will be made? Atension remix was really good but i feel like this version with sirus quotes would be amazing!

Dude, I'm literally running a campaign that's based on the POE endgame - conquerors of the atlas, shaper and elder. My players have been loving the crap out of it so far. Delve, Atziri, Oriath, the Atlas, everything's there.
Damn, I thought this was going to be some POE gameplay set to Metallica. Love the soundtrack though, was actually playing some of the soundtrack two days ago for ambiance in the house.
It was an interdimensional entity kind of boss boss with challenge rating 22 basically the final boss of the campaign, 3 of the 6 players died in the 4 hour fight but it was really fun.

He still is. The reason he is easy is you need to constantly track him while doing damage. The real deaths come from not being able to handle if you cannot or lose him.
@@Hellwolf36 He was notably harder when the storms would slowly chase the player. The storms kinda feel like a pointless mechanic since that was changed. I just stand around and wait for them to move. There's no tension.
@@lordeggo Yeah but even with the mobile storms, there are spots you can cheese them where they wont reach you and the boss will fly towards you. The only real challenge with him now is if you challenge him at AL8 and your DPS isn't continent leveling fast.
Tip: You want hard? Melee Necro him. Watch your pets die and be unable to revive them as you must constantly move. No mage skeletons cause I said melee necro. 3 words if trying that: You. Are. Screwed.

Cus he was buggy. Aul is still the hardest one out there even harder than Uber Elder
