Here is the recipe. Recipe text in English below:
Ingredients:
* Fine Sooji Rava - 1 cup
* Ghee - 1.5 cups
* Sugar - 2 cups
* Water - 2 cups
* Almond paste - from 15 nos
* Cashewnuts & raisins - 2 tbsp each
* Saffron soaked in milk - 15 strands
Method:
1. In a wok, heat half the quantity of ghee and fry the cashew nuts & raisins. Set aside to cool.
2. In the same wok, add more ghee and fry the Rava till aromatic.
3. Add boiling water - 2 cups to the roasted Rava & ghee mixture.
4. Allow to cook and become like porridge.
5. Add sugar and keep stirring constantly. Add the remaining ghee in intervals.
6. Add the almond paste & saffron soaked milk and keep stirring.
7. Garnish with the roasted nuts, raisins and more ghee.
8. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Thank you Rama. I am much older to you so I am addressing you as Rama. Very nice recipe. I want to share my first experience of making Rava kesari for the first time for my husband. It was a big fiasco. I added suger to rava before cooking it in water. The result rava remaind uncooked and hard granules. Thanks for the technology no novice will make such a blunder. I enjoy Ammavum nanum very much.👌

What an Excellent way to begin the year. During மார்கழி மாசம், before marriage we all wake up at kaarthala 4am. Whenever I try to snooze a bit, I remember "பேய் பெண்ணே" uttered by Andal😬!!
We all sit together sing all the pasurams, relish nice prasadams especially on Goodarai valli.. But I criticize my mom that chakkara pongal is not "முழங்கை வழிவார".. Yet I get 2 dollops extra pongal😄!

Hi Rakesh. Mouth watering recipe. Wanted to try from the day you posted. Got time only today. Made a slight variation. As we don't take white sugar, I tried the same with coconut sugar (palm sugar). Came out very well. Tried adding a picture of it but couldn't. Will try to send you thro whatsapp. Thanks to rama mami for a wonderdul demonstration. Loved both mom and son chemistry.😊❤️

Hello Rakesh!!! Why are you afraid of ghee? Fear flour products, pre processed foods, hotel foods, white rice , unhealthy carbs , sodas etc and the worst part is eating all of the above too much and untimely without any exercise is THE MOST DANGEROUS THING THAT you could do to your health not ghee
