But if God says believe Allen why are you changing that. Just stick to what the bible says. We cannot add works to salvation lest any man should boast. Salvation is the work of Jesus alone. You cannot add yourself. And yes it is that easy, that simple, period. Jesus came to save and not condemn. Stop preaching your preferences to people.

and also your problem is that you feel you need to transform people. That is the job of the holy spirit. You just preach the good news and leave the rest to God.

@@TamaraCanham Read Ephesians 2:10 which shows the good works that God has ordained since the beginning, that He put in us.
If you don't do the works of God, you will do your works, which cannot save, as you freely admit.
So, faith without works is dead, James 2:24,26.
Then faith, which is found in Ephesians 2:8, is not faith that can save you you. James furthers knowledge on grace, strengthening Ephesians 2:10, which is right after Ephesians 2:8,9. We must combine them.
Preachers are to preach the word of God. All of it.
Allen is teaching, preaching all of it as he knows.

Great breakdown Allen. It’s fair to say that salvation is followed by a new heart / desire to obey God. I think the tough part is HOW we deal with brothers and sisters going through those dry seasons. The lordship salvation view jumps to questioning their salvation (see paul washer’s shocking youth message or MacArthur’s tone around this topic) Which I think is counter intuitive to stirring them to live God’s way. Perhaps it’s the mis application of the view. IMO the last thing someone who placed their faith in Jesus needs is to walk on egg shells regarding their eternity. I don’t think that’s what you’re doing in this video.

Allen, you hit the ball out of the park. I do not do this well so forgive me if it don't make sense. I am part of a church that teaches exactly what you just covered here. I agree 100% that going too far on either position creates real problems. For me in regard to Lordship Salvation I became a believer when I was 10 years old. This was my understanding. I new I was sinner. I new I could do nothing about it. I understood that Jesus was the only one who could save me from my sin and a future in hell. That was it. I accepted Christ as my Saviour on that basis. Understanding his Lordship in my life has taken time. The works have followed. Not perfectly I might add. I have struggled terrible at various times in my life. The desire of my heart is to glorify God in everything. I fine often the flesh pops out. Alas 1John 1:9. What you shared was excellent commentary brother. On a note about the passage in Luke 14. I think where it broke down is it came off like a check list. If I am doing all this then I am a disciple. I will say I presented this to some of the men at my church and the discussion was fantastic. I could go on forever here so I will stop. Thanks brother. Carry on.

I’m there with you and lean more to the Grace after a lifetime of faith + works upbringing. There is no peace or joy in that camp because the fear of losing your salvation is always present. The problem is what other Christians see in another. The Bible says the Work of God is that you Believe in the one whom he has sent. Bearing fruit, love, joy, peace,
Longsuffering etc sometimes is not so public. People unfortunately judge by your works of the law, not works of the spirit. A person who believes belief plus good conduct (works of the law) equals salvation may be just as lost as the one who believed in the savior when young but the seed never grew beyond that. I think the key is Trust. We are told not to even lean on our own understanding but acknowledge him in all we do in life.

Believing in Jesus means believing everything He taught in the Gospels about Himself, about salvation and about being a disciple of Him. When we start to pick and choose aspects of His teaching that we like while ignoring or diminishing other aspects that make us feel uncomfortable or uneasy then what does that really tell us about our “faith” or lack of it? Yes we all fall short sometimes but God ultimately sees where our hearts are at through those struggles

You are missing the most important part here. First let's use the bible, romans 4:5 a man who worketh not his faith is counted as righteousness. And before that in romans 4:1 it tells you Abrahams faith was not justified to God in gen 22 more God merely made his faith known to the world in Gen 22. Known to Abraham and Isaac and everyone down the road. Abraham was justified in Gen 15. And romans 4 makes it clear his faith alone justified him to God. God is love. God does not show respect of person we are all judged the same. Acts 10:34. God never changes. The thief on the cross was saved by faith alone and him dying has nothing to do with it. We are all already dead in sin. God judges us all the same. Faith alone saves us.
It's essential to understand you can do nothing and live anyway you want and God will still save you.
Bc then your works means nothing.
Then all you have is Jesus no more no less.
      It's just Jesus.
When you understand you can do nothing to help your salavation and you can do nothing to loose it then you have real faith in Jesus Christ alone. Not your works.
Then out of love if you serve God you are storing up treasure in heaven bc you really doing it for God not for atonement or justification to God.
This is not a small point.
Do not deny the power of God.
The bible says you can do nothing but the holy spirit does his job too and God always gets his way.
So I may never see it in you, but. God does not use the same eyes as man.
God does not take back his gifts. Numbers 23:19
The galatians were not even in the faith anymore following a false gospel and Paul still calls them saved or beloved.
What is in God's hands can never be taken away by anyone not even you.
      That's real faith
Jesus did it all. I can't add to or take away from his perfection.
John 3:16 is true bc gods word is true or Paul says the gospel is simple.
The gospel is 1 cor 15:1-4.
      Anything else is accursed
      See revelation 3:19
      Gal 2:16
      Romans 4:5
Turning from sin is a work johna 3:10
The thief on the cross and God never changes.
You may be the least in heaven, but you going and the least in heaven is still righteous above John the Baptist. Bc it's about Jesus, not us. It's his righteousness that clothes us thru our faith. Free ggift. Paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ in full it is finished.
      Lordship salavtion is accursed.
Your faith makes you Christian not your works. You just show the world you Christian by your works see James 2 but that didn't justify Abraham see romans 4:1-5. Faith alone. Our god is so good he will save the guy who does nothing like the thief on the cross too.
      Love ya. Amen.

@briantrask8173 It really comes down to how you interpret the passage. I hear dispensationalists say that it refers to the judgment of nations based on how they treated Israel during the great tribulation, however that's not my view. The way I see it is if a person has truly been born again, then they will be inclined to love their neighbor and help those who are in need, whereas those who aren't truly saved will walk in self-centeredness. The evidence of regeneration is our good works, but our good works aren't what regenerates us. The Holy Spirit does that.

There is no single person on this earth that produces NO works. Even the most wicked sinner has done at least SOME works. If works was a requirement for our Salvation, how would you judge the threshold of how many works you need to be saved? Is it 50% of the time? 30%? It’s self-righteousness that makes us believe anything WE do can save us. If we are justified by the law, then we will be judged by it. And none of us keep the WHOLE law.
Jesus’ standards for discipleship were UNATTAINABLE by humans. “Be perfect”, “Sin no more”, “Deny yourself” are all commandments Jesus gave that NO human being can do perfectly. And nowhere in the bible does it say to “give it your best effort” like some would say.

You are saved the Bible says GOD the FATHER loves you as much as he loves JESUS. You can do nothing to make him love you more or less. He chose you before he created the universe and he loved you even then. Just read your word, spend time with JESUS and do your best to practice righteousness. You can’t lose your salvation. You didn’t earn it and never can. Live a life in communion with him striving to be like him because you love him. That’s all you need. It’s not anything you do or did but what he did for you and does in and through you. People who aren’t saved don’t worry about their sin or salvation. Only Christian’s do that. The world hates JESUS and loves sin so they don’t care about sin. He doesn’t want you doubting. If you struggle read 1 John. It was written so that those in the church would know they are saved and draws a contrast between those who are and those who aren’t. Read it and measure it against your life. But I am certain you are saved if you are concerned about your salvation but know that you can’t ever earn it. It is only by faith through grace. You just need to make sure your faith is genuine. A. I disagree. Allen's motive for adopting OSAS is HIGHLY emotional. It is based on the emotion of FEAR. His fear is that if it is POSSIBLE to walk away from Christ and salvation, then a Christian would live in perpetual FEAR and insecurity.
      B. This fear is based on unbelief in the Holy Spirit's ability to empower us to overcome temptation and remain true to Jesus and to the faith. Yet Paul, in a chapter which speaks of all kinds of temptations says this:
12 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.
13 For if you LIVE according to the flesh [CONTINUALLY - AS A LIFESTYLE],
      you WILL DIE; [FUTURE TENSE]
but if BY THE SPIRIT [i.e., by depending on Him]
you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live {FUTURE TENSE = ETERNAL LIFE].
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
      C. On the other hand, perhaps Allen's fear is based on a notion that if we commit CERTAIN sins and come to Him for forgiveness He will no longer forgive us us. Does this sound like the One who instructed us to forgive "70 X 7?

The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5). When God makes us new creations in Christ, we desire to obey the Lord and we genuinely love Him and want to do right by Him!
The whole point of being saved is to be reconciled to God AND to be cleansed by Him in order to reflect His image in the way we were originally created to! That includes doing good works!

My interpretation of this whole debate.
Free Grace people: I hear people talking about works, so I assume they believe works are a requirement for grace.
Works based grace people: I hear you talk about salvation by grace alone, so I assume that you want to live a guilt free, sinful life without consequences or guilt. 24/7 sin, sin, sin.
The 3rd group you described are likely how both groups are actually living. Saved by grace, and works are the fruit of grace and the holy Spirit. Works=proof(fruit), not a fee requiring payment.
This polarizing, in my opinion, is a distraction to divide and weaken the Christian community. I have never met a Christian that thinks grace is a free pass to do whatever you want, nor have I ever met a Christian that thinks they'll lose their salvation if they don't give x amount of money to charity on regular basis. Anyone existing on either extreme would appear to be a fringe number to me.

Works & Desires are Not Proof of Salvation
    The Fruits of the Spirit
There is a significant contingent of preachers who teach that if you are saved, the Holy Spirit's indwelling will necessarily produce changed desires which will lead to a change in works. Therefore, your assurance of Salvation should be based on whether or not you see this happening in your life.
I would like to point out a few major problems with this teaching. Number one, the fruits of the Spirit (Romans 5:12) will only manifest themselves if the believer cooperates with the Holy Spirit by walking in the New Man, hence the commandment given:
    Galatians 5:16
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
If this were automatic and didn't require work on behalf of the believer, this commandment would be unnecessary.
If the Holy Spirit ever usurped your will to make you do some amount of good works, He'd do so all the time, and you would be 100% perfect. He would not play a game where He sometimes, for some reason, allows you to sin, and then makes you do some unspecified amount of works to prove you are saved.
If a believer couldn't choose to disobey the Holy Spirit's will for them, the following verses would make no sense either:
    Ephesians 4:30
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
    1 Thessalonians 5:19
    19 Quench not the Spirit.
Since it does take effort on behalf of the believer to walk in the New Man in accordance with the will of the Holy Spirit, it's a faulty basis for assurance. You are basing your assurance on your own imperfect efforts to fight against the flesh and walk in the New Man, which even Paul himself failed at frequently and habitually - Romans 7:14-25.
Therefore the idea that any "true believer" will have some undefined level of obedience due to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is false, and implies a rejection of free will, which makes no sense unless the Holy Spirit is doing a lousy job or playing a game with our mental health by making us behave only partially for some unknown reason.
This is nothing more than a pseudo-humble way to teach works Salvation. If all of the person's good works are attributed to the Spirit, they can deny that they are teaching works Salvation while doing the very same. In reality, if the Holy Spirit is the only factor in why you obey, then all of the Bible's commands against sin become utter nonsense. The limiting factor is you, because you have to put in work after Salvation to serve God, hence why you'll be rewarded for doing so (1 Corinthians 3:13-15).
    No Assurance
Secondly, if my assurance of Salvation is based on what I see in my own life, I can never have full assurance. This is because I can't know at what point I can be certain that my desires have changed enough to prove my faith was genuine.
Such a thing cannot be quantified - which is why proponents of this teaching never give a specific amount of works/desires that need to be performed. They just float out a hazy, undefined behavior or desire-based criteria for you to stake your assurance of your eternal fate on.
If I look at my life and desires, I will always find imperfections, many of them. And so how can I be sure that I've had a sufficient change? How do I know that my change is the work of the Spirit, and not my own carnal mind fulfilling the desire for something religious that is innate in every human being?
This is why this teaching is so dangerous. It sets people up for spiritual disaster by teaching them to put their assurance of where they will spend eternity in something as abstract and fickle as your desires, which are prone to corruption by the brain of flesh that processes them.
Or, if works and obedience are emphasized, I again point out that this will depend on a believer's choice to walk in the Spirit. Since a believer will never be perfect, there is always room to question whether you have enough works, and if the works are a result of walking in the Spirit or just an unregenerate man being religious.
This is usually "rectified" by some statement to the effect of "Well, you won't be perfect, but you will be able to see a change from before and after you were saved".
This presents a myriad of problems:
Anyone who put their faith in Christ as a child will see regression compared to before they were saved, as children don't commit nearly the amount or scope of sins as adults
This is comparing yourself to yourself, which means nothing, as you are not a standard defined anywhere in the Bible - Jesus Christ is (Acts 17:31, Romans 2:16)
This makes it so that it's easier to have "assurance" if you were a truly wicked, horrible person before you were saved. If you were mild before you believed in Christ, changes in your behavior, obedience, and desires will be less noticeable
Therefore, comparing yourself to yourself is not a valid means of assurance, and comparing yourself to the perfect standard given by God (Matthew 5:48) will necessarily result in a lack of assurance for any honest person.
Any Unsaved Person Can Reform Their Life
Since this false doctrine compels someone to look to their lives for assurance of Salvation, I want to point out the obvious - any unsaved person can clean up their lives, and start living in a better way.
There are millions of people who choose to stop various sins every day because of conviction of their God-given conscience (Romans 2:14-15), or otherwise realizing that sin has built-in consequences.
There are people that become very wicked, wind up going to prison, then get out and reform their lives. The amount of people who have gotten over alcohol or drug addiction is innumerable. Secular people give lots of money to charity, and unsaved nurses volunteer to good humanitarian causes overseas.
Many unsaved, works-trusting Christians decide to read the Bible more, or pray more, or go to church more often, or even become preachers for their false religions, feeling "led by God", they assure you.
Therefore, faith in Jesus Christ is not required to reform your life to be less sinful, or want do something good, or feel some spiritual desire, and so basing assurance that you have "real" faith in Christ in such a thing means nothing, and is foolish.
    A More Sure Foundation
So, if not our works and desires, what are we to use to gain assurance of Salvation? Well, obviously a basis that is much more solid: the promises of Jesus Christ in the Word of God.
    Here's one, for instance:
    John 6:47
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
If I lack assurance, I can look at that verse and ask myself:
"Have I ever trusted Jesus Christ to save me?"
Yes. Therefore either I have eternal life, or the Bible is deceptive beyond comprehension. I can repeat this with any number of verses (John 3:18, 3:36, 5:24, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:5, Acts 13:39, etc.).
The evidence that my life bears is irrelevant because that had nothing to do with my Salvation in the first place. My Salvation is based on the finished work of my Savior Jesus Christ, and that alone. I am not so foolish as to put my assurance in my own imperfect attempts to put off the Old Man and walk in the New Man, for reasons I've already explained.
    Conclusion
I want you to walk in the New Man. I wrote an article dealing with the topic in-depth. However it is a terrible mistake to use that as a basis for your assurance. If you make that mistake, you will never have peace, nor assurance.

Okay, now that I've finished watching the video, I've got a couple of points:
    1. I'm not sure the math analogy you gave was sufficient to illustrate your point because if I prove my work on how 7 X 7 = 49, then great, well-done. But if I don't prove my work and only say that 7 X 7 = 49, it still remains true that 7 X 7 = 49. Whether I prove it or not, the equation isn't dependent upon my work. It's dependent upon the Creator of exponents.
    2. I think you're representing free grace advocates in an extreme light. The way I was taught and the way I've studied free grace and eternal security doctrines, I've never seen/heard works presented as "optional" (your word) or haven't heard proponents explain "it doesn't really matter how you live." Now, I've heard dissenters try to rationalize those doctrines that way, but proponents have always presented works as a command, and an act of obedience. One of the Scriptures we often cite is Philippians 2:12, which encourages us to "work out our salvation with fear and trembling."
So, I think free grace is more mixed with your exposition of "works produced salvation" than it is the extreme position you originally defined it from. God bless!

Believing in your heart of the gospel is faith. And then yes faith will lead people to do things but you do not have to do anything to be saved or keep your salavation but have faith.
Let's look again at Abraham and I don't like commentary or interpretation. I use the bible. What does the word of God say?
      Romans 4
      King James Version
4 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
The bible says Abraham was not saved by works. He could a told God no and still gone to heaven. God keeps his promises even if we do not.
      Numbers 23:19
      King James Version
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
      Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
And what is the gospel we need to believe to be saved?
      1 Corinthians 15
      King James Version
      15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
      Mark 1:15
      King James Version
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel
      Repent is metanoia in greek.
It means change your mind and believe the gospel.
      It's just faith.
Your faith not works proves you are saved to God
      Romans 11:6
      King James Version
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
I'll give you a great bible example. The thief on the cross. He had faith. Went to heaven. He had 0.00 works to support his faith. Now one may say well sure bc he was dying but that's not what the bible teaches.
God does not change nor does God show respect of person so the guy dying is irrelevant
      Acts 10:34-35
      King James Version
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
And how do we work righteousness biblically?
      Romans 5
      King James Version
5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
      3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
We are made righteous thru the blood of Jesus Christ and our faith in his atonement for our sins. And God immediately awards us eternal life when he sees our faith. And God never takes it back. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
And what is the will of the Father?
      John 6:39-40
      King James Version
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
You see in John 8 Jesus is talking to the pharasee. They kept the law in their own minds. Relied on their works. But they never had any faith. Nor did they understand they didn't keep the law either.
      The law is James 2:10
Break one law you break them all.
      Speeding is murder.
Do you fast regularly? It's a command.
Do you pray continuously for your enemies? It's a command.
Did you help widows lately? Also a command.
Have you given all that you own to the poor bc that's a command too.
We all fall way way short. The truth is all Christians live in sin constantly. Unrepentant and repented sin. Constantly. The law will not save you.
      Galatians 2.16 (KJV)
16knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Doing good works is a command and we should but you don't have to to go to heaven bc Jesus does all that for you thru faith alone. Bible is clear. You free to be the least in heaven if you wish God is still good and keeps his promises.
      Matthew 20:15
“Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?”
God is good. When you fall short. When you do nothing. God still saves you bc God is perfect. God is that good.
It is essential to understand this bc people relying on their works to justify themselves to God are not saved. They are the lord lord Christians
Bible says examine yourself to see if you in the faith.
Do you understand like the thief on the cross people with faith alone are going to heaven bc Jesus did it all? If not you are not believing the gospel. You believe another gospel and that is accursed.
Hope this helps and God bless.

Humbly serve others following the perfect example of Jesus. He said that He came not to be served but to serve others and give His life for others. (Matthew 20:28). Let us be humbled by the awesomeness and greatness of God and the unworthiness of ourselves. As Rick Warren said true humility is not thinking less of yourselves but rather thinking of yourself less. The Bible is clear we are saved apart from works for salvation (we couldn’t earn it). Works is opposite of grace , faith and Spirit. Justification . However as a saved person, we are expected to produce fruit for the kingdom. This is shown in Ephesians 2:8-10 and Phillipians 2:12-13 saved by grace but called to good works. Be transformed… this is sanctification and the part of our faith where we live most of our salvation . The NT letters are written to Christians -yet are filled with commands on how to live for God. So in Paul I can say justification by faith. But in James I also say that faith without works is dead. Saved by faith and faith alone but saving faith is never alone. We must get our practice to reflect our position in Christ.

      @@chrisventura585 Matthew 7: 15-20
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
The word fruit or fruits is stated seven times in Matthew 7:15-20. Fruit=works. Allen is not saying that works saves anyone. He is saying there will be natural evidence in good works (fruit) over time IF given enough time. Yes the thief on the cross only believed in Jesus, and possibly didn't produce any works, although one could argue that he produced the fruit/work of love as he was talking to Jesus. He probably also felt the fruit/work of joy when Jesus replied to him "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise."!
      Here are some more verses:
      * Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
      * Ephesians 2:10: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
The fruits of the Spirit are considered works in the Bible. The word "fruit" in Galatians 5:22-23 is the Greek word karpos, which can mean both "fruit" and "work." So, when Paul says that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, he is essentially saying that these are the works that the Holy Spirit produces in the lives of believers.
Let me finish by saying this: Faith alone, grace alone IS what saves you. Works do NOT save you initially, or keep you saved, or do ANYTHING whatsoever to save you. However, can a human believe in Jesus as both their Lord and Savior, be born again, and receive the Holy Spirit and NOT produce ANY fruits (works) of the Spirit if given enough time?

Two good channels to watch are, unlearn the lies, and 119 ministries. At least listen to what they say and without listening with the mindset of what you have been taught.
Read Matthew 5:17-18, 7:13-14, 7:21-23, and 1 John 3:4. Read them carefully and without any interpretation whatsoever or twisting to fit what you have been taught. The three in Matthew are Yeshua talking. Do you believe that Yeshua speaks the truth or do you think think He is a liar? What Allen teaches goes against the Scriptures I pointed out. Be very careful about what you believe is true because the deception is rampant.
Salvation doesn't come by keeping the law because we have all broken them, salvation comes from grace. But grace doesn't mean that we can ignore the law.
Once saved always saved and the sinner's prayer are not in Scripture. People will point out verses to prove it but if you add the rest of Scripture, their point fails.

Always interesting how experience informs us. I read your bio, and I see how you could be talking to yourself as a child. YD is talking to himself not understanding grace months earlier, and too dogmatic as a new believer. In my own experience, I went through a period of post-partum anxiety. I didn't see the fruit I thought should be there, and that led to depression. Sometimes those in a period of sin and self-absorption need to be pointed back to grace and Jesus, which is what I needed and came to realize. The beauty of the Bible is, there is always a verse that applies in different seasons, but we also need to look at the bigger picture. I would just advise to remind people to look at themselves how God views them. Grace is motivating.

I use to believe in God, but I was not saved and was living like a crazy heathen, but when I truly had faith in God I really changed a lot overnight, I am not perfect but I really changed even quit my job as a strip club DJ, and wanted to learn about God and read and study the Bible every day, and I am still feeling the same way and it has been two years. It is much more I received when I was truly saved, but I am keeping this short lol.

Free Grace Theology vs. Lordship Salvation | Which is Correct? BOTH!! There is no "One vs. the other" .. This is a fool's argument. Rom 10:9 includes BOTH and also includes FAITH. 1) Confess (Continually) Jesus is Lord (Lordship) 2) BELIEVE =FAITH 3) God Raised Jesus Out of the DEAD (the Gospel / Grace) BOTH views are incorrect without the other. It is misunderstood because the gospel part is hidden. God raised Jesus out of the Dead which He also raised. This part of the gospel is never taught. The perverted gospel which makes these foolish arguments claims Jesus only got up by Himself. They are willfully ignorant of Matthew 27:52-53 which fulfills Luke 2:34-35! These men have no clue what the gospel is. To teach it any other way than Rom 10:9 is damnable heresy.

Free Grace theology is correct. You either work/ earn/merit your salvation, or you trust in the finished work of the Cross and simply believe. If it's by grace, then there is no works. If by works, then it's no longer grace.
This is what it means to abide in Christ

Thank you for this video. It's something I've struggled with for years. I know that I'm saved by Grace through faith alone. But I was always TRYING to do good works to prove it. And doing things in my flesh WITHOUT the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. As a result, I actually became a Slave to the ministry cos I could never say no to anything for fear of disappointing the leadership. And for years found myself serving the ministry and NOT serving God. I was then suddenly told after over 30 years in music ministry that my season was over and for almost a year, I suffered depression, felt worthless, had no purpose because I was no longer doing ANYTHING. I had reached my sell by date.. I was shattered... I felt like a nothing and nobody. But through God's grace and mercy, I came to realize that all the works I was doing, actually weren't FOR God, nor were they the evidence of what I believe, but they were to please people. It took a while to recover, but now, and as I listened to this, I have realised, that even going to the shop and being kind to the cashier is part of the evidence and work that results from being saved. Because I love the Lord, my desire to be like Him and let the Holy Spirit tell me daily what he requires of me, instead of doing works just to be a people pleaser...

How do we know you or anyone for that matter is or isn't doing every single work you or they do, to get praise of Men, Matthew 6?
A real child will................? A real child will obey or disobey, a real child will yield or rebel, a Real child will follow or veer off, that's what a Real child will do. Those who yield, receive blessings, those who don't, don't. Those who rebel will receive disciple, maybe even being physically killed , 1 Corin 10, those who obey, rewards.
Which of you have proved you are saved by your works?
You can tell when someone either never knew, or has forgotten the gospel when they make any part, before, during or after about them. They are preaching an accursed self centered man works based message Gal 1:8-9. Which, from Catholic, to Muslim, to Mormon, to Hindu, is the majority. Broad is the way because it is what most say,.. And Allen, when one really listens, you are among all those who preach self, not Jesus my friend. You and I will stand before Christ one day, either as a totally saved person by his free grace or a very nice, sweet, helpful, Hellbound person who refused to trust in Him alone, apart from self in any way which is also called, lordship (works based and focused) salvation...... I also believe that your walk in life should reflect someone who is a believer in Christ-if your belief and desire is real! It is such a personal thing and every persons faith walk is unique. Some grow faster and others take more time. That's why people say, "thank God for another day to "get it right"! Its a life's work but you should always in someway show WHOSE YOU ARE!!! Galatians 3
    New International Version
Faith or Works of the Law
3 You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?[a] 4 Have you experienced[b] so much in vain-if it really was in vain? 5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? 6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”[c]
7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”[d] 9 So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”[e] 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”[f] 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”[g] 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[h] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
    The Law and the Promise
15 Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. 16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,”[i] meaning one person, who is Christ. 17 What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. 18 For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.
19 Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. 20 A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.
21 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. 22 But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
    Children of God
23 Before the coming of this faith,[j] we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Whats up Allen....this is what I think the scripture says about this issue. You know when Jesus talks about the people in heaven giving someone a drink or feeding the hungry and so on.....once you have the Holy Spirit in you it absolutely changes you. There is a reason it says "you become a new creature." That doesn't mean your going to be sinless but your nature definitely changes. I absolutely believe you can go through a season as a believer where you don't talk to God and even question His very existence. My testimony is kinda wild. I've been in and out of prison SEVERAL TIMES AS A CHRISTIAN!! however I have also started bible studies while in prison. These past 4 years have been some of the hardest 4 years in my entire life. I have had all kinds of medical issues and they just keep coming. However God took this time to show me who he is and I found it started slow with just watching some UA-cam and listing to a simple audio bible in the bathroom 🤷🤷 and I found the closer I and deeper I sought out the things of God the more I just did "works" so naturally. I fully believe that if you have the Holy Spirit and your living how the Lord says we should live the "works" just manifest in themselves and you start to want to die to self the more you read the word and the more you surrender.....I'm literally the last person who ever thought I would give up secular music, and ALOT of TV that never used to bother me 4 years ago. I'm no one special LOL. So far from it it's not even funny. However because I was drawing and continue by the grace and mercy of God to live for Him and die to self, now I can't even listen to a secular rap song. And even if there is a hint of people doing things they shouldn't on TV I definitely fast forward if not shut it off completely......now all of those things are works and really I never noticed when they started happening LOL. I know there definitely not because there is anything good in me that's for sure!!! Now that I have been a believer now since 1997 but actually God brought back a memory of me as a little kid going down to an alter call at a mylon LeFevre concert haaaa haaaa. I was probably 6 years old haaaa haaa. I have gone through so many times especially since I was 6 where I didn't even believe in Jesus at all. I thought my mom was in some weird cult haaa haaaa. Anyway now that I've been through soooooo many different seasons as a believer I definitely have come to believe there is just no way you can have the Sperit of the great I AM inside you and it NEVER ever showing....... Jesus 1 million percent will come meet you anytime right where your at, however no way you don't feel that tug to conform to His will and die to yours wich just by default will produce "good works." 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️✌️✌️

Consider this. The problem consistently seen in all of these manmade doctrines and terms is the misunderstanding and misrepresentation of the true meaning of 'believe' or 'faith' in Jesus Christ. People keep trapping themselves in man's doctrines, arguing and debating with other people, some even condemning others and calling their beliefs as heresy by using proof texting, and not trusting 100% in God. Only God is the righteous judge and knows our hearts. We don't have the final say on who is truly believed or not. If you call yourself a believer, then ask yourself what does 'believe" mean in the context of 'believe' in Jesus Christ, son of God, of the Bible - Word of God? The Bible defines and clarifies the Gospel of Christ as Jesus died for our sins, buried, and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15). James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. If we say that we believe in Jesus, then we believe Jesus died for our sins, buried, and rose from the dead. Thus, we are then saved. Nothing we can do or will do earns salvation, only what Jesus did, and so we believe. Okay now we are saved by grace through faith so what is next? Ephesians 2:10, For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.
If you claim to believe in Jesus, then listen to what Jesus said. How can you believe in Jesus and not listen to Him? Makes no sense!
    Jesus tells us,
John 14, “Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me"
Luke 6:46, “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things I say?"
John 14, 15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. 17 He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive Him because it doesn’t see Him or know Him. But you do know Him, because He remains with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you."

Agreed! Works based salvation is not biblical at all..salvation is a FREE GIFT you don't pay for gifts for they are given without payment otherwise it would be a purchase not a gift.. now then however Christ said ' my sheep hear my voice and they follow me' so if we do not constantly struggle spirit against flesh as Paul did wanting to be rid of 'this body of death' and be more like Christ then we must question our belief at all..
In other words ONLY belief is necessary for salvation (1 JOHN 5:13) but believing will do nothing else but produce good works.. believers bare fruit..its what we do...it is our powerful spiritual inclination after being born of God..some bare countless more fruit than others.. some may only bare a miniscule amount.. some will only bare the fruit of the thief on the cross with only enough time to acknowledge their own sin.. acknowledge the impending condemnation.. acknowledge Christ as saviour.. and entering His rest because of that belief.
Lordship salvation is guilt ridden finger pointing judgemental legalistic and still bound up in the law and under the curse causing man to believe he has a debt to pay when there is not... we are set free from the law. ..free indeed by Christ. Amen.

Lordship salvation is complete heresy. Jesus Christ paid for alll sins.

      Exactly
Romans 4:5 but to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

“Heresy” and “false doctrine” are different things
You can be heretical and true, and you can be not heretical and not true
Heresy is anything that is currently outside orthodox Christianity
“The Trinity” for example used to be heretical, but now it’s not
“Lordship Salvation” whether true or not, is not heresy

I'd hit the like button 20X if I could... Thank you for speaking on this. Now I realize I was correct in my thinking, understanding of what faith without works is dead means. You made it crystal clear. If you believe in Christ, you gotta do works to show/practice your faith. Produce fruit, share the good news.
Great explanation as usual. May God bless you and your ministry, brother Allen!
