Don't be discouraged. We recently took a ride with a new rented car, and it also had an android-type navigator to connect to the mobile phone. There were 4 of us, for a total of 6 phones and only one was able to connect and function normally. Personally, having the time in sight on the bike is a big plus. And it's cute too...
The tripper sucks, just about every reviewer that’s not being paid agrees. I wish they would do away with it and add a tachometer instead which would actually be useful.
