Your videos are always so timely. I'm actually struggling with this exact issue right now. It's put me off working on it, but I think I'll give it another go tonight! Cheers!
Just found your channel and love the videos I've seen so far as I'm trying to get to the next level in my painting! Maybe you've heard this one before but I'm so grateful you add subtitles and don't just rely on UA-cams auto generated ones that has very varied results. Makes it a lot easier to focus on what you're saying for people like me who don't speak English as a first language (and sometimes it's just a lot of noise in the background where I'm watching). Looking forward to explore your vast archive! 👌
This vid is gold again, who stipples smooth transitions in flesh tones?? who?? Maybe stipple two colours into the deeper shadow colour with these tiny dots. Make a more interesting flesh even at this small scale using it as chromatic underpainting before beginning the midtone at a less opaque consistency over it. Afterall the midtone stippled too, it's just maybe an extra pass. Maybe have one colour shadow predominate on one side and the other on the opposite to suggest environmental light? Push it and impress people!
Great technique mate, I can see myself using it to give depth to scars or defining muscles and ribcages on animals like horses. Might try it on myself and turn my keg into a sixpack before going to the beach!
@KujoPainting thanks kindly kujo! I'll check him out. Another great tutorial as always - though my criticism as always is that you make it seem so damn easy! Makes it a little dissapointing when my work doesn't come out quite as well but it's all a journey and practice makes better! 😀
I predict this video to be wildly succesful
What was sundered and undone, shall be whole, the two made one! And now, the prophecy is fulfilled!
Algorithm confirms 💚
So say we all
I'm going to try this on my beer gut. Thanx ❤
lol not a bad idea.
I was literally just wondering when you'd next post!
Wonder no more!

Welcome!
Lessons on painting, classic rock and humor?!
Yup! Still love your content!
Was there classic rock in this one? Oh right. The beatles? lol I was scratching my head there.
Great tip here! I like to use it on faces to make the nose look wider or thinner. Can help make a model look unique!
Yeah it's amazing how much you can alter the look just with paint alone.
Deno has blessed this one, it will prosper, this is the law.
:D

It may seem obvious but this is the technique painters use on a canvas, good tips!
That's true, especially oil painters.
always loved your content! i swear you could charge for these vids!
Glad you like them!
One for the Algo and i like this kind of story telling Videos ^^
Thanks!
Best intro I've ever seen.
haha thanks mate.
blimey kujo I always watch your videos but I guess it has been a while since I've seen one!
:)
This should be more prevalent in painting. Placement first. Blending later.
This is exactly why I struggle with traditional layering.
Makes it a lot easier.
Just found you. Such great tips! Thanks for sharing. Subd.
Thanks for the sub!
Who's the dude in the intro - other than Tony Soprano and son I mean? Seems like another good painter to follow if he'd referencing this channel
That's Trent Dennison, AKA, Big Deno. He streams pretty regularly on twitch. He's well known for painting huge projects extremely quickly.

What's the source of this mini? Did I miss that part?
It's Boudi from Hasslefree Miniatures.
That model is so tiny!
haha, yeah the hasslefree minis are all super small. They're cool though. :)
I need to try this technique on my own belly, seems far easier that actually exercising to get a six pack 🙂
You can do it!
A few people have said this actually I might be starting a trend lol.
I'd love to be able to do this but my hands shake like a clucking crack head 😂
Ahthat sucks, sorry to hear that. Have you tried anchoring them?
Please make a tutorial on how to paint blue skin for female models!
