@@7Wolf77 Played for years, never made it far in the original, but with this one (and some help from your guides) I'm further than ever. Also didn't know there was a 4x4, but I can't wait to get there! Thanks for all of this!
DUDE!!!!! It works..... AND WORKS GREAT. I spent hours trying to win a scenario (Itytawy) that requires manors for the first time and I won with your housing block strategy in 15 minutes (add'l) . I was also at a financial point where I could do this all at once. Amazing.... thanks so much! You're the best! Looking forward to more. Looking forward to 4x4!
I've seen a bunch of forced walker tutorials, but this was the first one that I actually got to work. It works so well that I've started using it for normal housing needs as well. Just a word of warning to others out there -- if you're missing something and suddenly get it, all of them will pop at once. While this is fun to watch, it's TERRIBLE for your economy! I learned the hardway.
This is really well explained and it's great that it also works on your normal housing loop, as it the most efficient one I've found so far. I've not reached missions where 3x3 housing is essential yet (I got set back by some saves getting corrupted -- lesson learned: don't rely on autosave :P), but this will be so helpful when I get there, so thank you.
I totally understand. I work full time and have a family as well. That is part of my aim to help those like us who don't have the same free time we enjoyed back in 1999 get the most out of the game now.
Cant wait to see your 4x4 housing and meanwhile I made a loop based on yours with 21 Statley Manors. My loop size is 18x8 so only a little bigger than yours. I ran it for a few years without any problems.
As I recall non-destination walkers will complete up to around a 52 length loop … I also use an 18x8 often (48) it’s just under or around 50 your in the sweet zone where your firemen and architects will finish the loop instead of turning back and hit all the houses etc… vs having to place duplicate firemen or architects posts… but I think you can maybe do 10x8 (52) and that’s like as far as you can push a loop, not sure if someone can check me on that???
I love how well this fits on your preexisting "8x17" blueprint! I guess achieving the same for palatial estates won't be possible without modifing the underlying system, but I'd love to see your take on a block with 6 or so palatial estates.
I used to spare space for this 3x3 or 4x4 layout later stage if required by mission. The rest 2x2 standard for maximize the population. Thanks again for the tips. ❤
I love your videos and it never ceses to amuse me that you say apocathery instead of apothecary xD Keep up the good work, I love watching your playthroughs
New era does decreased the Fire/crush building rate and re-new walk-loop about those worker , so you may start the loop range like that , in original version very hard mode sometimes worker loop will be stupid and the hazzrd increase rate is really fast, you need more cleanly walk loop ,you may change pavilion in side the square and reduced size may works on the old version Pharaoh , That's for old ver player suggestion
Hey, I have a problem with this, it's great but the element bloking the road also blocks people from the industrial areas to come inside the city to employe people... Is there a way to block all passenger expept the workers recruters ? Thanks
This block design only works if you're using Pharaoh A New Era, as that has a gameplay setting labelled "Global Labor Pool" under recruitment. It is Necesarry for this to work.
Patron god is 375 for temple and 187 for a shrine. Local gods are 750 for a temple and 375 for a shrine. They don't have to have housing coverage, just be placed. A temple complex is around 8000

Grate guide. I have played this game sense i was a kid. Didn't know there was a 4x4 house.
Thanks! Yes the palaces. You never really get into them until the very end.

Awesome thanks! That's a big benefit of a controlled block is you can control every stage of housing upgrades.

Glad it was helpful! I had a few saved corrupted, but I typically do custom saves so it wasn't so bad. Sorry to hear that.
This video has helped to get the most out of the game for someone that has limited time to play.

Love the new thumbnail!
Now I can't wait for the 4x4 :D
Heh. Got a little bit do before that. I would say though that those houses are ready to evolve.. =)
Great video! Thanks
Great video especially the how to transform a 2by 2 into a three by three
Thanks!

Sorry I think I got everything. Walker glitch and disappearing walkers was a common bug of the original which doesn't exist in the remake.
@@7Wolf77 yes but the developer claimed that they fix it but you know ~
Please do Palatial estates next. Many palatial estates
Soon ^_^

7:30 isn't the last house cut off?
why would it be?
the walkers have a 3x3 square around them that applies the effects
Is it a bug?the elite housing does not fill up..compared to spatious apartments?
They do. This demonstration video isn't a real city. Off screen was massive slums for employment so I could have services working.
@@7Wolf77 ive been following your tips..but idk..in my game..the elite housing only fits 30people..idk why
Housing guide helps wen game isnt broken wit a load/save bug
man im so pissed off because they can't migrate to my city because of slums, what can i do to solve this? :(
Hum, sadly the best way is to reduce the slums. Check the rest of city sentiment as well.
can walkers from the pavilion cross the roadblocks?
Yes. That is a large part on how the loops work. Destination walkers will ignore roadblocks.
Your water was going out in the wrong space
Hum that so? Can use road blocks if so. Good catch.
is no one else having problems with water on this build? any idea why I am?
In what way? Can you send me any screen shots on discord? 7Wolf77#9179

4x4 houses now
The only thing you forgot is to provide the Internet.
So this game is just pilling shit up? I started playing and can't get my desirability past apartments on the early missions lol
Housing in this game is too complex.
