It is interesting seeing all these things like global labor pool and off-road water lifts as someone who has only ever played the original. Could you do a video of a "tough" map using rules like global labor pool off, so I can see how to handle it? I've never played an "optimized" pharaoh game, so my cities always had fluctuating problems, but seeing these housing blocks and stuff work consistently is pretty cool- I'd just like to see how to do them with the harder settings turned on.
@@7Wolf77 well, to be honest I don’t know the full rule set change list. I’d have to be a little more versed in new era (I plan on getting the game now after having watched your content, thank you:) ) but the global workforce pool seems like a pretty huge one, although again i think im a much less knowledgeable player than yourself. You’d probably be a better judge than me
There seem to be quite a few little glitches like this. I just had the farm issue in the previous scenario, which suuuuuuc ked because it was a famine ridden episode.
Hey! I did a post on it. Some numerous bug fixes. One included was the "roads stop working after flood" fixed, should hopefully fix the farming bug that has been around for a while.
This is the first video that he has posted in a long while where he hasn't opened with that statement about using Global Labor Pool. Usually it's one of the first things he says.
That use to be the case but it seems in ANE that has changed. They will take from a granary. In original pharaoh the granary and storage yard had some differences, but in ANE it seems to work exactly the same. A commentor had mentioned that so I wanted to test it. Basically.. They are cheap granaries.
Entertainment has changed too: Jugler 400 > 600; Muscian 700 > 1000; Dancer 1200 > 1800; Senet House 5000 > 7500 and education: Library 800 > 1200; Scribal school 300 > 500 children.
Another great job done!
That's right. I wish mortuary would have gotten a buff as well. Or maybe it did and wasn't listed. Thanks for watching as always!
I know it is a bit late for an opinion for your videos but the time lapse instead of skipping through was a very nice change.
Not late at all thank you!
Excellent , another Master class . uk
Ty!
It is a master class. Love his videos. simple and to the point.
*drops in 5 clay pits*
"I think that'll solve our clay problems for a little while." 😅
Yeah.
Like the whole 3 people's lives worth of years. 🤣

Well, any suggestions? Military? Pyramid?

@@mattspewlive honestly it's just personal preference. As a lover of the old game as well I felt they were good changes.
The "farmers don't go to the fields" issue is a known bug they're working on, and is across all cities, not just Itjtawy
Seems so. To me it seems like a priority issue.

@@hylianmahey962 saving and reloading works. And maybe deleting the road to the fields works too, but have not tested.
hi wolf
I'm not sure if you are aware but the game now has a mission editor,I'm wondering what else they have updated?

How come you don't get no workers live nearby warning?
He uses the global worker pool option

Global labor pool.
I have a question, I dont know if you already anwer it but why you dont build granary?
Could you make a vídeo about culture? Im always struggling to get 60/70/80 of culture.
I plan to. Always check all the overseers such as health, diversions, ect.
Great job on the city! Why do you use Storage Yards instead of Granaries for your food?
I believe this is because requests from other kingdoms for food cannot be taken from granaries
