I really enjoy these horror games that take everyday jobs that may seem unsettling on their own (pizza delivery , gas station at night), into actual horror stories, probably my favorite thing rn
Totally agree. These ideas are some of the most fun
Then I think have already checked burger and frights, where a poor man is cycling through a loop in hell where he is trying to escape from the vengefull ghost of a kid he ran over, at least that's what I understood of the game, I think it's something you're gonna love.

Being a fedex driver during winter can be fun. Old neighborhoods have so few lights and when it gets all dark and rainy, you can't tell if the barking dogs are behind a fence or not. Silent hill irl is less fun.
Dont forget trying to deliver pizza and being dragged into a demonic game by a evil kid aka emily wants to pay 1+2
Its that short story format set in a real life scenario combined with a first person interactive perspective that makes it work so well, the low graphical details and isolation kind of help

Yeah, it actually took me by suprise. I though that the citizens knew the trashman killed someone and were teasing him about it before taking revange.
@@BNK2442 Probably he killed someone, but the citizens kill people too, a lot, they knew about this, and made him clean bodies of the city, e this torment him everyday, damm this game is really incredible.
This reminds me of a movie -- 'Clean' starring Adrian Brody. It focuses on a seemingly reserved guy working as the town's garbage truck driver. He does what he does everyday until one route brings him to pick up garbage in front of a fish market. He knows the market is a front for a drug operation, so he just ignores seeing the bloodied spectacles in the trash.
It's a slow-burn movie, but at the end it gets quite action-packed.
Anyway this game has the most chillax soundtrack.

I love how this game didn't lean fully into the scary supernatural stuff, but relied mostly on subtle scares to build up the tension.

Two things that I love about indie games: they dare to be slow paced and they dare not to fill every part of the game with music. Music is great but sometimes the banality of only sound effects and ambience like the crickets can really immerse you imo
I really love that this is the channel for everything. A lot of places may cater to indie games- but it's mostly what will catch someone's attention the first 10 seconds. Here's a place where you can also find those slow burn rewards 🙂

I was totally calling that the garbage guy was picking up bodies. After the "lying to your family and friends" and the fact that I haven't heard of a night pickup garbage service. Still a neat take on a less traveled horror genre.

Funny why is it always the 80s it seems that the timeline is more scary and confusing then most like present day if you overlook a few things maybe a distortion of some sort if only also Japan tends to get a rather high amount of horror I guess there is Garry's Mods they are actually Maps but I mean they've had like Russia Germany France Italy UK Sweden even they have their fair share of hard but like the creepy comfy or liminal space sort of thing seeing a shadow was in red eyes and it just disappears that can be quite nerving as can also these games be mean like even trapped underwater although there's a lot of water games now but like streets doing random jobs cleaning shop shopping malls with no customers at night disturbing creepy the good s***

Just going at night to pick up garbage is terrifying. That something bad happens is already a plus.
Definitely creepy, but it's kind of unclear what exactly is supposed to be happening? The main character is disposing of bodies under the guise of being a garbage man, I understand that much. Is there something else going on that I'm missing? Whose perspective are the notes meant to be from? What is the redness supposed to be?
I wanna think that the guy REALLY doesn't like his job of take the bodies to the point he neglects the reason of his job, and the letters are his subconscious
