Total class and such a beautiful song , so well done. Brings tears to my eyes. Has been one of my favourites for many many years. This quality and class is missing from today’s musicians . They just don’t measure up.
He sang this live with no auto-tune .... this kind of voice, and doing it live 'one time' in front of the camera's is amazing....this man is a talent above & beyond the normal...fantastic performance!!!
I got to meet Sir Tom a long time ago when I worked security for a couple of his shows. As I recall, he was very gracious and kind to everyone, and he made sure we all ate well.
If Tom has a superpower, it's his ability to 'sell' a song. So many women ask the question, 'who did this to him?' The reality is that Tom married his high school sweetheart and they were together until her death in 2012. The man is a class act.
😊one of my favourite songs by sir Tom Jones , and I wasnt born when this was sang by him.. he is incredible ... and knocks this out the water ..pure class and such a good song ..
The Miner's son from Wales who, despite his incredible career, still acts as if he can't quite believe it's happened to him. Put a mic in front of him, though, and he can sing the phone book. Perhaps the greatest male vocalist produced by the British Isles.
Simply a man of class, a master of his craft and a 'ladies man'. At that time, his nickname was 'The Tiger'. If that doesn't say something... Love from Germany
SIR Tom Jones. Queen Elizabeth knighted him because of his importance to UK and world music culture. I think everyone can agree on that, and agree that he deserves to be called by his full title for amazing he is.

Tom Jones...what a singer..what a man...yes no auto-tune..real talent... This and two others make a perfect trifecta..and in this order 👍😁.. 💥... I'm Never Gonna Fall In Love Again...this one of course 💥...I Who Have Nothing 💥... Delilah Yes the order is important.. you'll understand once you've heard them...the first 2 are in what was called a 'Crooner' style..the last is different as you will see.. however they are all done quite powerfully... I'm so glad you've found this magnificent voice...the writers flooded him with every song they had available..they knew his talent and dearly wanted him to sing their songs..so yeah.. you'll see other's names on his work for he wasn't a writer... Welcome aboard young lady...🌿🌿🌿
I'll Never Fall In Love Again was written for Tom by Lonnis Donegan a Skiffle singer who was huge in the UK in the 50's and early 60's. Tom sang this with Peter Donegan, Lonnie's son, on an episode of The Voice UK. Tom is still touring by the way and does a really good version of Cry To Me by the great Solomon Burke.
I love this performance by the Welsh Wonder Tom Jones. I had a hard time watching some of his later performances because I was embarrassed by the smooching! Honestly, he was/is magnificent.
My uncle worked with Tom Jomes in the coal mine before he bacame famous and he was listening to him in the canteen when he was singing. Must have been a wonderful a performance. :)
Sir Tom Jones is from the lovely country of Wales 🏴💓. Have loved him since the 60’s and to this day. When he performed in live concerts the females went wild over him and threw him lingerie gifts on the stage!! Check out It’s Not Unusual, ‘Delilah’, ‘Green Green Grass of Home’ just a few of his hits, and Sir Tom still sings on The Voice (Britain) when encourages by the ladies 🥰
He's definitely a legend! Next song u will just love by him is called,, She's a Lady! And also,, What's New Pussycat! They r 2 of my favorites! Also, so many women were in love with him, and got carried away at his concerts! ALOT of them would throw their bras and underpants up on stage!
This is God given talent, Sir Tom Jones is beyond humble, he’s a national treasure - a true Welsh 🏴 hero. I was around when he sang this live, mum loved him and always tuned into his show on a Saturday night 🫶🏻
SUGGESTION: Tom Jones & Helene Fischer “Sex Bomb” Live on the Helene Fischer TV show. (Tom was 80 years old at-the-time of this performance… One of my FAVORITES!!! His & Helene’s chemistry together is… ADORABLE. )
You should also check out "Green Green Grass of Home". It is sad, but it was one of Tom's biggest hits and shows his vocal range as well as his melancholy almost "folk" side because of the lyrics
@@jamespasifull3424 Beg your pardon mate, but I saw Lonnie's son on 'The voice' in front of Tom Jones and he said that his dad, Lonnie, wrote it for Tom and Tom agreed. Check it out, it's possible I misunderstood.

Tom Jones hits, "Love me Tonight", "Help Yourself", "Daughter of Darkness", "It's Not Unusual"(His first big hit), "Without Love", "I'M Coming Home", "A Minute of Your Time". Look at his song list, so many great songs. ALSO, listen to Englebert Humperdinck, "Please Release Me" . Look at his song list too. So many hit songs.
The Welsh are noted for their wonderful singers, also actors and TV personalities, all with beautiful rich melodious voices. It occurred to me just now Tom Jones would have made a fine opera singer, had he chosen to go down that path - he certainly seems to have had the basic equipment! Not that he hasn't had an amazing, and long-standing career in popular/ non-classical music. Starting from humble beginnings, he hit the big time in the 60s with his talent and charisma, and never looked back.
That's my favorite Tom Jones song. Yes, he and Elvis were good friends. Elvis called Tom "The Voice"; a bit prophetic maybe. They used to go to each others concerts, and hangout after the shows. Sir Tom is definitely a legend. He is best know for "Delilah", so here's the link to that classic song: ua-cam.com/video/MIIU9xkGAMs/v-deo.htmlsi=PwwGykupz7WB-lE_
The numerous stories of how women reacted in his heyday to his live concerts in Las Vegas are amusing. Night after night they would throw their undergarments and their hotel keys on the stage! He could not ride the elevators because he would be swarmed by smitten females. Amazing.
Sir Tom is still in great voice and recently finished a European tour at the age of eighty four. Sir Tom is not an "old guy" Ola, he is an "Elderly Gentleman" 😂😂
Now Jackie Wilson was Elvis's mentor and there's a song he does that you need to see live call lonely teardrops Elvis even took some of his moves and put in his act
He is Welch and I am from a Welch background myself and they look like they are Italians and Greeks when they are young.. Tom had a terrible health issue when he was young but the pain was rewarded with mass success....
Great reaction. But you are missing a treat. Tom just turned 84 last week (June 7) and he is a regular on The Voice UK. One of the talents on the show was Peter Donnegan, who's father Lonnie Donnegan wrote this song for Tom. And Peter played and sang it with Tom on the show. ua-cam.com/video/ySopatr6AoE/v-deo.html And without looking at the video, deciding which is the 1970s version and The Voice duet is difficult to tell. Tom's voice is still all there.
Really really nice reaction, he's in his 80's and can still sing so good. Looking forward to more reactions. You should check out Angelina Jordan's new songs bad valentine and if I were a boy. Both are amazing. Take care. ❤
Tom is , of course, Welsh. A nice contrast would be to try Paolo Nutini - Iron Sky (Abbey Road Live Session). Paulo has Italian ancestry, but speaks with a broad Glasgow (Paisley) accent.
