- Arrived in the BEAUTIFUL town of Çanakkale to visit the iconic town symbol the Trojan horse from the Brad Pitt movie Troy.

There are actually 2 horses found in Canakkale. The one you show in your video (donated by the the movie) which is found in the center of the town, and the other one (less majestic tho') is found at the area where they believe is the actual Troy, based on recent archeological excavations. Izmir would also be interesting, being a coastal city but will be more crowded because of the numerous cruise ships docking in that place as a jump off point to the archeological ruins of biblical Ephesus.

The other one is less impressive though because it it a little bit more modern and blocky (kinda like a toy horse) however, the area around it have this authentic archeological findings.
Then after Ephesus would probably be Pamukkale? or Cappadocia? Haha, I was so impressed with Turkey that I traveled the asia minor side in 3 consecutive years, tracking the same route everytime.

I will be starting from Istanbul (without stopping) to Canakkale, then Izmir, Ephesus. Follow by Fethiye, joint a Gulet to sail to Demre (Antalya coast). After the Gulet tour, back to Fethiye for 2 days before taking a ferry to Rhodes for 4 days. After this, heading to Pamukkale, Cappadocia, and finally back to Istanbul for 3 days! Total journey = 3 weeks to fulfill my bucket list :)

Hi Finn im behind watching ur vlog i guess coz the time difference was the reason behind it anyways it's all good and now ur at the city of Canakkale featuring the famous Trojan horse though it's not the real one but it's alright i just remember the Greek mythology book that i used to read, Fyi: Trojan
war was waged against the city of troy by the Greeks after Paris of troy took Helen from her husband the king of Sparta, immortalised by Homer in his epic poem the Iliad.this is the most important event in Greek mythology....u didn't explore much of the city and kinda expecting that u would show more of the historical sites and interesting places that u normally do but u were able to fly ur drone and its nice u got a good aerial shot from up above and i noticed as u were walking by the waterfront promenade u should've done a timelapse or at least took a video of the sunset i think that was good spot there but then that's ur call im just a viewer im merely suggesting but all in all u did nice video for this episode, 'til ur next adventure bye for now and take care.

The Trojan Horse is a tale from the Trojan War about the subterfuge that the Greeks used to enter the independent city of Troy and win the war. In the canonical version, after a fruitless 10-year siege, the Greeks constructed a huge wooden horse, and hid a select force of men inside. The Greeks pretended to sail away, and the Trojans pulled the horse into their city as a victory trophy. That night the Greek force crept out of the horse and opened the gates for the rest of the Greek army, which had sailed back under cover of night. The Greeks entered and destroyed the city of Troy, ending the war.
