a way iIfigured out years ago is to just join any game that has meph complete and you should be able to just go down the stairs and just walk all the way to meph, u can pick up the way point along the way but you wont be able to take someone else's tp
ALso, act 2 can be done super easy too. Just join a game where people gather the parts already,, even if you join the game just before they kill Duriel, if you are in the party - you directly finish the quest when they kill Duriel. So after that - speak with folks in town and talk to meshif. You will not yet open the quests in act2 and they will continue to be on, but you will be in act 3 :) I did that by luck, while making my Nightmare :P And the other thing about Act 3, is super old. I have always did my act 3 this way. Havent done the quests for more then 20 years :P
Act 2 isn't actually finished when you kill Duriel, it's when you talk to Tyrael inside Duriels tomb. You can make a char that places the staff in the orifice and use that char to create a game where you never need to get the staff. You can clear Place/Arcane/Tomb, even kill Duriel with any character you want. Then join with the character that needs the quest and talk to Tyrael.
I think this is the big problem. The jungle is just long and will randomly have an entire map either be the correct linear path to follow or a dead end
I joined a game late had just cleared a2 fresh into a3 and they were already killing meth but they had a 1 tp left at trav i couldnt tp into lvl 2 or 3 so i grabbed trav wp then went to see if anything had been left from counsel n i clicked on the stairs got in then decided to see if anything was left over from meth clicked on the red portal n it let me into a4 full a3 skip just had to walk from trav, 👍
i dont know why they patched this, pretty whack that they would change it.... so stupid. they could of put the effort into fixing other things or improving other aspects.
I get that they want people to play the content they spent time and effort remaking. They just failed to understand that people don't just skip act 3 because they want to rush to the end. They skip it because it is a slog.
@@OhhiBukai WHAT youre trying to say is a3 is a pile of trash, and i concur, unless you have teleport it takes way too long, and your first playthrough youre forced to go through. So we still technically have to play it. its a waste of time for an old game that honestly isnt even fun anymore because there is zero endgame lol. endgame is holy grail and thats totally up to rng lol. Pointless to play imho.
You could do the Quest, takes about 4 minutes with teleport. And i dont really understand yall playing the game complaining in everything xcept worldstone Keep >

Blizard patched the old trav skip. They left in another logic error that allows people to once again skip act 3.

A3 just needs to be smaller in the beginning, LK/bazaar/UK/and Trav are nice and linear.

Crushes are the best way to 99 as well. The only problem is that is doesn't work for my fav highkicking class :(
