As someone who loves SAO and has a VR headset i'm always wishing that we could full dive into the virtual world and now that its almost here I can't wait to eventually get my hands on one. simply amazing.
@@VRelity Personally, I would love to go in a Sandbox or a MGR like game in full dive. It would be so cool to make the mother of all omelets here Jack in full dive or cut through anything in blade mode
I feel like the risks of fulldive can easily be avoided by adding a system that forcefully logs you out if you start getting in any physical danger, excited for fulldive though!
This is crazy! The rate that technology has been advancing has been insane! I just wonder how they will be able to send signals back without implants, because I feel like it would be a risky thing right now without harming someone accidentally.
@@VRelity there would be so many cool ones. I have read chainsaw man which is a really good action manga. I mainly like fantasy action things like D&D. If I had to choose, it would be between One piece, Naruto, or Fairy tail. Those all would be awesome!
If you watch just one episode of sao, you will definitely fall in love with the fact that you can full dive into the vr world. I was so happy when I found out that the nervegear was just around the corner of human vr technology.
@@VRelity I don't know, but I do know that I don't want a game like sword art sword art online or ALfheim. If I start playing either one of them, I would probably just nonstop be thinking about it and not really that focused on my future when I would he able to go home to paradise whenever I want.
Honestly I think full dive will be a bit dangerous. Not physically, but mentally. Can u imagine if everyone in the world made their lives in game? What if technology stops advancing cause we can just make it in game? What if people die from starvation or thirst while in game cause they are so infatuated with the vr world? That’s honestly what scares me the most about full dive, it’s something that I love, but it’s also something that I’m terrified about.
This is my favorite explanation for the Fermi Paradox. Sentient life never gets to building superstructures or sending out billions of probes because they discover how to shift their existence into virtual space. A much more advanced form that doesn't have servers and hardware as we understand it and is persistent in a real sense. Never runs out of resources, people can do about anything. Really solves all the problems lol.
Thts why they would instate pop up and modules tht would allow the user to check there really life hunger and i can see some gamers being hooked up to feeding tubes
@@VRelity I definitely would, I’d love to get a chance to adventure a fantasy world with a group of friends. It has to be with a group of friends though, I think over time it would get boring by myself. It’s one of the reasons I don’t game as often anymore. Vr made me feel like that noob who walked around in the mc demo trying to build that wooden house before night time. It’s a pretty cool thing, can’t wait for full dive.
I feel like full dive gear will be a lot of fun and the headset will have an emergency sign like computers for your hunger so you don’t starve to death or dehydrate, like Minecraft but in real life
I’d also expect a “kill switch” that disconnects you instantly under certain conditions, to alleviate any public fears of being trapped inside such a system. “Kill switch” might not be the best term for it though 😅
This is so cool! Im honestly not the biggest SAO fan but im a huge nerd for technology. It would be magical to full dive and experience it. Although, things always have their good and bad side if we really think about it. We could become even more isolated than we already have and just have this need to stay in this world as long as possible, some people could get so invested that they wouldn't even care to satisfy their basic needs. Yet at the same time, we could all have fun playing and getting to experience this whole new world. Just like most things in life, everything has two uses. A good and bad one, it all depends on how a person decides to use it. Hopefully people just have fun with it but also don't forget to come back to reality and take care of themselves.
So realistically I hope that in the next 8-10 years there will already be such a smooth technology that will allow to read the whole thing without a problem and there will be the first games with full animation of the character that can be controlled only with thoughts xd, and in another 10 years let them come up with a technology that will allow such a leap that is in SAO, where you will be able to feel like in the game world ;d

Also cool would be Watch Dogs, where you go around the city and hack different things as well as something related to magic, elves, maybe wow:)
I doubt very much that in 2-5 years it will be possible to fully read the brain or to transfer the 'mind/self' into the game world in order to control the character as if you were the person yourself in the game world, apart from the fact that you have goggles on your head and normally have contact with the real world around you.
@@VRelity I would go to sao so I can explore all the missing potential. I would also go to one piece because of the vast people and landscape. JoJo would be next because I feel like that would be using more of the potential of controlling things with your mind. And even through it's not an anime, stranger things seems really cool. Being able to control things with my mind like eleven.
The only thing I'm worried about with this SAO level gameplay, that we'll have a "Ready Player One" scenario on our hands where we start to live out our lives in VR than real-life. If that does happen, what will our world be like? Would we make? Would we isolate ourselves even more? And even more concerning, what if some of us just wants nothing to do with reality and fully, mentally, jack into the matrix? Regardless, still definitely going to get a hold of something like this when I realistically can.
My take on it is that “real-life” is kinda an arbitrary term… just because something is artificial doesn’t mean it isn’t real. There’s a HUGE potential for jobs entirely based in VR; for example, allowing for people to intuitively control robots working in environments unsafe for humans. There’s a lot of training that could be done in VR to enable hands-on learning without risks or excessive costs. We already have social gatherings that take place entirely in VR through platforms like VRChat, and these sorts of gatherings would only get better as the VR became more immersive. As for physical-world tasks for maintaining VR worlds, that could easily be done in VR using the same sorts of robots, or could be almost entirely automated, with a mechanic being kept on-call in case the system can’t perform the necessary repairs itself.
It develops in small steps but eventually it will be a breakthrough. I am looking forward to seeing SAO in real life! Thank you for your update. Keep up the good work!

Bro managed to comment on every comment props to you man! 😂 Also it’s technically not nerve gear because I’m the anime their not awake while in the game and actually feel like their in the game. But it pretty close as we can get!
oh man even before i had watched sao i had wanted so bad for this. ive always wanted to be in a video game thats literally been my main line my entire life "i hope i live long enough to actually be inside of the video game" even started looking into try to find a spot for myself in the gaming industry to try and help the process go faster. i cant believe we have already got info on its prgress now!
it feels like sao almost predicted the future. when the sao game in the world relesed the full dive also came out. now we need a Nerve Gear to blocking your physical body from moving but insted moving your in game avatar.
if you remember that in the background lore of sao 10 or so years before the nervegear, the way of reading and writing info onto the mind was an inplant things start to look quite interesting
If they have to add a sao headset, they first gotta switch their brain into recycling memories, and to make their body has sleep paralysis, except the eyes. That is called R.E.M sleep. They gotta have to make the brain to keep the parts of the brain to make you consciousness awake (because consciousness usually becomes sleep during sleep and dreams), and switch from sensory abilities, to imaginary abilities. Because sao headset makes you dream to where the game looks like, and to add some sort of code to change people's dreams, and install files into their brains, so the brain can imagine the exact details of the game.
@@VRelity Indeed I did. I'm very interested in VR tech so I appreciate you showcasing this incredible innovation. Don't need me to tell you this but keep up the great work. :)
If they make Sword Art Online and take out the "Log out" button, i'll definitely stay on Floor 1 until i've grinded enough resources for a strong sword and armour - I'm not the type of guy who jumps into things carelessly (If someone causes me grief like Kibao did to Kirito, i'd cut them down without a second thought though)
@@VRelity Lol, taking no chances - but if I come across a guy who refers to beta testers as "Beaters", they'll be getting a taste of my sword across their throat
Not sure if i missed it in the video because I just had it playing in the background or what but the whole point of the Nervegear isn't just reading brainwaves and everything but also cancelling the messages sent to muscles completely. It allows for more movement in-game as your body IRL can stay laying in bed while you run across a nation in-game. Does anyone know if this is something that has been/will be implemented? Still cant wait though!!!
thats a good question i go into more detail about that in some other videos of mine but while possible it is to dangerouse and possibly not the way to go instate if blocking the signal it would be better to create a headset that makes the player fall asleep because then your body automatically does that itself
No. we aren't anywhere close. Bro you can look at our current VR tech and realize how bad it is currently. We are still in the Alpha / Beta stages of VR. The games are trash and barely playable. Fulldive is literally an insane leap something that is in the realm of fiction which we aren't going to be able to achieve for probably 50-100 years.
Definitely fascinating and would be cool to see more of this. Likely will be FAR behind on ever getting one, same for regular VR. But still interested in seeing it.
@@VRelity Oh no I absolutely think it will eventually, everything that's luxury based usually does if we don't go to war or something. I've at least had the chance to play VR thanks to the Holodeck. So maybe one day I will pay for these things.
When i saw the trailer for the new anime "Shangri-la Frontier" i realised how much i need fulldive, i can't wait a few years into the future when i can experience it
well i wouldn't want to full dive into a game knowing that i'm at the mercy of some billionare company. it's not like we'd die in real life if we die in game , what would actually happen is we mine bitcoin until the world ends i'd love to play a pc port though
Wow this is what I was waiting for my dreem headset it is ok if I never come back to the real world I am also ok with it just love the thought the full dive can be achieved
I don't think we'll ever be close to something like nervegear. Sending signals to brain without implant is most likely impossible, even if it was possible I doubt it would be safe.
@@qwardel7799 iff that’s what u think but in reality we are way closer than u think. Our generation is growing up learning new things with schools being much more advanced technology and better learning processes for the students then say 20 even 10 years ago. Only a matter of time

Sure Full Dive Nervegear Is Cool But As A Starter For An SAO Type Scenario All We Really Need Is Touch Controllers(You Can Feel Stuff In The Game) Some Better Body Tracking, Somehow A Device That Lets You Smell The Atmosphere Ingame, An Atmosphere Controller(If Its Hot Or Cold The Room Temp Changes, Thats Really It Oh And A Full SAO game(All 100 Levels Bosses And Multiplayer Availability Along With Some Decently Sized Levels Like The Part Where Kirito And The Older Man Go Fishing) Thats Really All
There was already technology made to allow you to smell things in VR, it basically used vape juice to make smells. The US shut it down before it even had a chance to take off

@@VRelity besides Sao. I'd play ggo and alo. But I'd also play assassination games. something that would be really cool would be if they can make it to, where time in the real world would pass a lot slower than in the game. @@VRelity imagine just spending a century playing any game you want, without having to worry about Irl. besides in games that can be used for a jail or prisoners. For them to serve their sentence. Bro managed to comment on every comment props to you man! 😂 Also it’s technically not nerve gear because I’m the anime their not awake while in the game and actually feel like their in the game. But it pretty close as we can get!
Tried to reply to every comment since the first video i ever made. Stay awesome
This video has a whole new meaning when you read 2022 as 2020 2 the sequel
Fair enough
oh man even before i had watched sao i had wanted so bad for this. ive always wanted to be in a video game thats literally been my main line my entire life "i hope i live long enough to actually be inside of the video game" even started looking into try to find a spot for myself in the gaming industry to try and help the process go faster. i cant believe we have already got info on its prgress now!
yesss
it feels like sao almost predicted the future. when the sao game in the world relesed the full dive also came out. now we need a Nerve Gear to blocking your physical body from moving but insted moving your in game avatar.
so true. you might like the new video i just made about it aswel
if you remember that in the background lore of sao
10 or so years before the nervegear, the way of reading and writing info onto the mind was an inplant
things start to look quite interesting
They sure do
I wish we had graphics like Skyrim modded in 4k+ in VR with SAO and Zennith Mechanics. Be sooooo good
one day that will come true
Imagine being able to sleep In the vr world
That would be cool right
In literally the last clip, the multi colored avatars are made by a guy named sinon. I know him, he's real cool. It's in VRchat. Project Aincrad 1.4.6
Awesome my friend
i can just imagine.. laying down, playing a fully realistic vr mmo like SAO, or some manga/manwha such as “The Return Of the SSS player?
One day my friend one day
I would be more exited for Gun Gale then Sword Art! Guns just seem more easy to pull off in VR, and plus imagine feeling the recoil!
POP: ONE players breaking their arm playing GGO (They use the sako with one hand)
Fair enough
I just want a full dive rpg game in a world of swords and magic.
Would be awesome for sure
Imagine if the game was so complex that magic could be controlled like an extension of your body? That would be awesome.
It seems like finally someone understands it
"It would mean a game over in real life, but lets not worry too much about that."
Hol-up, no lets worry about that, lets worry a lot about that.
just joking my bro
@@VRelity so was I lol.
@@awesome_by_default hope you enjoyed the video
@@VRelity Indeed I did. I'm very interested in VR tech so I appreciate you showcasing this incredible innovation. Don't need me to tell you this but keep up the great work. :)
@@awesome_by_default thankyou so much
1:23 “let’s not worry too much about that”. HUUUUUUHH
Excactly
Everybody gangsta till the [QUIT GAME] button disappear💀💀
i would sitll full dive what about you ?
@@VRelity im still down lol, i probably wouldnt even survive a day💀
@@Mewwiee1 same
I love Sao and the concept as much as anyone but u do realize this kind of hardware is gonna be big bucks and only the rich will be able to buy this
Probably yeah but would you want to fulldive into sword art online with a nervegear if it was possible right now ?
@@VRelity without a doubt. Even if it wasn't exactly Sao, and some other game then the answers still yes.
They could put safety precautions also if it can read your muscles it could tell if you were saturated and not let you use it until you are
Jup
"Face it: The main reason we all bought it is was the ONLY launch title when, surprise, TRON suddenly became real!"
fair enough
Imagine SAO is an anime that predicts our future...
well it kind of does
So we all just forgot how great full dive went for them in the show
Well thats true but would you want to full dive into sword art online if it was possible in real life ?
I would like to get into the full dive in an Gun Gale Online style game too in the future.
That would be awesome and any other games or anime you would like to dive into ?
Death Gun irl oh no
@@VRelity Maybe a Doom style i think, or a Mecha type.
If they make Sword Art Online and take out the "Log out" button, i'll definitely stay on Floor 1 until i've grinded enough resources for a strong sword and armour - I'm not the type of guy who jumps into things carelessly (If someone causes me grief like Kibao did to Kirito, i'd cut them down without a second thought though)
better be over leveled first for sure
@@VRelity Lol, taking no chances - but if I come across a guy who refers to beta testers as "Beaters", they'll be getting a taste of my sword across their throat
Imagine they had this shit ready for like 6 years and they waited till 2022 to release it
I hope not but i can see that happen yeah haha
This is even cooler considering sao was released in November 2022
I know right
Not sure if i missed it in the video because I just had it playing in the background or what but the whole point of the Nervegear isn't just reading brainwaves and everything but also cancelling the messages sent to muscles completely. It allows for more movement in-game as your body IRL can stay laying in bed while you run across a nation in-game. Does anyone know if this is something that has been/will be implemented? Still cant wait though!!!
thats a good question i go into more detail about that in some other videos of mine but while possible it is to dangerouse and possibly not the way to go instate if blocking the signal it would be better to create a headset that makes the player fall asleep because then your body automatically does that itself
that's a bad idea give muscle control to the nerve gear
imagine the game bugs out and you end up in a coma till someone takes off your head set
@@RenderingUser maybe telling a family member to take it off after a specific time
@@daemonpurple tru
but there are people that live alone
this is especially likely for people who want to live in a virtual world
No. we aren't anywhere close.
I think it will get a lot cheaper once time passes
@@VRelity Oh no I absolutely think it will eventually, everything that's luxury based usually does if we don't go to war or something. I've at least had the chance to play VR thanks to the Holodeck. So maybe one day I will pay for these things.
I have only one desire to live for. This. I cried a little...
same
When i saw the trailer for the new anime "Shangri-la Frontier" i realised how much i need fulldive, i can't wait a few years into the future when i can experience it
Yes getting closer everyday
Cant wait to blow my lifesavings on one of these headsets
same here
I'm a simple man. I see SAO. I click.
hope you enjoyed it my friend
If only we could figure out how to make a full dive world where time passes slower, where a few days could be an hour
just like the last season of sword art online that would be awesome
Accel World 😆
i'm sure this will be one hundred percent safe and not in any way misused
lets hope not but even so i would still want to full dive into sword art online with a nervegear what about you?
well i wouldn't want to full dive into a game knowing that i'm at the mercy of some billionare company. it's not like we'd die in real life if we die in game , what would actually happen is we mine bitcoin until the world ends
i'd love to play a pc port though
@@6clix331 nice one
My paralyzed cousin silent screaming telling me all. That I need to buy this. For my own use ofc :)
Damm stay strong
We are a bit behind since the nerve gear headset as it the headset was made in May and we are almost in 2023 but apart from that sounds amazing
True but its a first step right
@@VRelity yeah
There have already been several SAO games brought out by Bandai/Namco
Thats true but non in vr yet sadly
Wow this is what I was waiting for my dreem headset it is ok if I never come back to the real world I am also ok with it just love the thought the full dive can be achieved
and what other anime or games would you like to full dive into with a nervegear besides sword art online
Holy shit I’m gonna be alive to see an actual nerve gear that crazy
Yes my friend and would you want to full dive into sword art online if it was possible to use a nervegear in real life ?
@@VRelity yes no doubt! You earned a new sub, keep making great videos and updates!
@@papichulo4527 thankyou so much
I don't think we'll ever be close to something like nervegear.
Only a matter of time
At this point we are just waiting for someone to turn it into sao irl
Well i cant wait what about you ?
I’m gonna be calm down, right? My heart is feeling about this.
Haha yes are you excited to fulldive into sword art online ?
@@VRelity I accept.
I can't wait to finally eventually do VR gaming without constantly getting motion sickness
The more you play the more used you get to it start with some not so intense games and try chewing gum while playing that helped me
@@VRelity exactly! When I first started, I got a lot of motion sickness. But I powered through for a few weeks in short bursts to get used to it. Now I can play for hours with small breaks for food or a smoke or something and can play any kind of game with full locomotion and it doesn't bother me at all now 🙏 even games like elite dangerous where you're in space and everything is all mixed up lols
i love sao and i’d love to see fulldive but ik it won’t come out for years
One step at a time my friend
Just saying, imma wait till 2023 because sao takes place in 2022, but also!!! Think about all of the ill people or even the paralyzed. They can finally experience their life without issues, it’ll probably be a bit different but they can still live free
yes the potential this has is amazing.
I think controlling the VR world with your brain is the easy part. Putting the user into the VR world is gonna be the real obstacle.
fair enough
And this is how the matrix starts. You could literally hook a new born baby up to this vr and they would never know reality.
yeah thats crazy stuff
Wow.. imagine the lives this would save medically…
gonna be crazy
Finally!!! We taking true steps towards aincrad
yes its gonna be so awesome
getting closer every day are you excited
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if I got stuck in a game, and if i die in the game and die in irl. Bro fucking sign me up
same here and what other anime or game would you like to full dive into besides sword art online?
if you had spare 25k you could order it in spring 2022. Its more for developers though
We about to have a cult doing full dive fr

I can’t wait to feel like I’m getting torn apart by zombies in Vr 😂
Same
I am always optimistic that in the future it will be realized
yes exactly but would you dive into sword art online right now if you could
@@VRelity I 100% Would Even With The Deadly Part
Sure Full Dive Nervegear Is Cool But As A Starter For An SAO Type Scenario All We Really Need Is Touch Controllers(You Can Feel Stuff In The Game) Some Better Body Tracking, Somehow A Device That Lets You Smell The Atmosphere Ingame, An Atmosphere Controller(If Its Hot Or Cold The Room Temp Changes, Thats Really It Oh And A Full SAO game(All 100 Levels Bosses And Multiplayer Availability Along With Some Decently Sized Levels Like The Part Where Kirito And The Older Man Go Fishing) Thats Really All
truetrue
that would take soooo long though, that's the thing
@@LightsArc not as long as Full Dive
There was already technology made to allow you to smell things in VR, it basically used vape juice to make smells. The US shut it down before it even had a chance to take off
This is so exciting 😀
I know right
OH MY GOD THIS IS SO EXCITING I JUST CANT WAIT ANY LONGER TO ACTUALLY FULL DIVE INTO SAO
Yes me too and what other games or anime would you like to full dive into
Oh hell yeah, I am lookong forward to real fulldive immersion of videogame!!!
One day my friend one day
Bro SAO is cool but like this could work with other anime like Naruto,AOT,Bleach,JOJO,One piece and many others this could be revolutionary for anime and anime games as a whole so I am very excited to see what will come of this project
definetly and what anime would you like to dife into the most if you could fulldive with a nervegear from sword art online

@@Rimuru-ray true and are there other games or anime you would like to full dive into
@@VRelity besides Sao. I'd play ggo and alo. But I'd also play assassination games. something that would be really cool would be if they can make it to, where time in the real world would pass a lot slower than in the game.
What I'm trying to say is 5 minutes in real life , could be any amount of time in the game, up too years, I don't think that's possible, but it be cool if it were to happen
@@VRelity imagine just spending a century playing any game you want, without having to worry about Irl.
besides in games that can be used for a jail or prisoners. For them to serve their sentence. In the cool part is. They could actually live through how many years they need to in the game, in a matter of maybe minutes or seconds in irl.
And maybe they can make it to where the person has to do hard labor, something that's difficult that will really discourage people. 100 time more than now.
I WANT THAT HEADSET NOW.
Ever since I first heard the rumor back in 2018 I believe they would do it Gamers everyone finally virtual reality and it's true form is approaching on us I wish you all the best of luck and getting one I just checked the price almost $2,000 it's expensive but in the long run I bet you it'll be worth it
