  • Hello and welcome to another review video. This time we will be taking a look DAS WERK's 1/35 scale static model of the FAUN L900 2 in 1.
The Faun was one of the heaviest German trucks in service at the time. It weighed 8,800 kilograms and was 10.4 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and 2.6 meters high. It required a crew of only one, that being the driver. It was powered by a 1,501 hp Deutz F6M5171 diesel engine, and could carry a total cargo load of up to 8,800 kilograms. The Faun had no armor protection or armament, and it had six wheels, four of which were the drive wheels. It's primary purpose was transporting and carrying small tanks and armored vehicles, hence the abnormally long body and powerful engine. The Faun could carry up two small tanks at a time using a special vehicle trailer.
    Model number: 35001
    Released in 2020
    Price: (EU) ~ 40 - 45 EUR with VAT
Model contains well over 200 parts and they are generally very good.
There is some clean-up needed but nothing casuistical. The surface detail is phenomenal and you have several options as to how to display the model.
    - three type of suspensions to represented the load bed empty, medium or fully loaded
    - soft and hard top cabins (civilian or military version)
    - 6 paint schemes and 6 different markings
    - new wheels (you need to assemble them)
    - brass pipes to make roof bows for the load bed

Another really interesting subject. Nice unboxing and "review" of this kit. Lol, those German words are a whole other beast to pronounce.😆🤣😆🤣😆. Thanks for sharing my friend, take care and keep up the good work.

I was browsing on Andy's Hobby Headquarters and saw this kit and wondered what it was like. I did a search and came across your video. It seems like a really nice model. Have you built it yet? If so does it come together well or does it have fit issues? I had a really bad experience with an ICM kit of a German WWII truck that had such poor fit and so many tiny parts that I did not finish it. Would you recommend this kit to an intermediate modeler like myself? Thanks.

Hello Miguel 👋 Thanks for reaching out. No, I have not built this model myself. I only did a review, but from what I hear, it's not a bad model to assemble. It has a lot of parts, so if that scares you, keep away :D Other than that, I think this model should be a pleasant build experience. Just pay close attention to the manual.
