Andy, what happens to your factory diorama? Can't wait to see it finished ;-)
Very different to the normal Andy , thanks for sharing
Great work by BJ DeBekker from Panzer Concepts. This will be an absolute must for any WWII / Germany collection. Can't wait to put my paws on this
Love your videos. With your channel you have gotten me back into modeling. Thank you. But one thing I miss and I know you are very busy with your store and online business. Is your diorama buildings. Thank you again
This one has been on my wishlist for a few weeks already!
Cool and totally unexpected. Need to do some research on figures to go with it.
I been waiting for this for 30 years!
You know, if you had scratchbuilt one 30 years ago the kit would have become available a few weeks after you finished.
True@@wwiiinplastic4712
Roden has it in 1/72. Also I belive it´s a 6 cylinder engine not 12.
It started from Panzer concepts they made it in a Resin kit and was amazing. I know BJ from Panzer Concepts worked with Das Werk to come out with it .I can't wait to get a few of them .
Perhaps the coolest thing about it are the crazy outriggers. Thanks for the video Andy.
Great looking kit!!! 🤜🤛
Rocking Andy
Wow!!! I must have!!!!
That soooooooo needs to be available in 1/16th scale
Hello everyone from Liepaja ( it is in Latvija)/. The model is great with all movable parts. Box art is awesome.
it's almost a diorama by itself
Great stuff!!
But i am in to 1/16 now. Can we have more of that?
Love to see a howitzer on 1/16.
Keep them coming. Greetings from the Netherlands
Well, now we know that Andy wasn't just sitting around looking pretty. 😅
I gotta have one! I liked the announcement of it at Nats.
Will they be doing a crew for the Vomag, and also extra 88mm rounds, as it looks odd with all the storage for them and only 4 shells
Das Werk is set to announce a brand new 1/16 kit tomorrow on Scale Model Challenge in the Netherlands!
Let us know what it is :)
👌 awesome
I wonder what it's going to be ,tank ?halfback?big gun? Can't wait
Odds are it's WW2 German. 🥱😴😜
Something their 1/16th half-track could tow?
An unusual kit, off the usual style of kit releases, One though I will be putting on my list. It might just appear as another box on top of the three 1/16 scale kits I have waiting assembly. And I mustn't forget the 1/ 400 scale QM 2 kit. At just under 3 feet long, its going to be a big one, especially as I got a full photo etch kit from Gold Medal before Loren retired. Hope he's doing well , nice guy.
Thanks, Andy... I really like that they bring out unusual kits.
Great work
Hope they make some crew available in various configurations.
Does this come with a crew? If not is there an 88 crew available?
Just ordered one Andy. Lets see a build on it. Great video Andy, keep em coming I'll keep watching.
Big truck !
Thanks for the review!!! As soon as it appears on sale, I will definitely buy it!!!
Wow, I can finally turf my old Vacu kit which hasn't been fully completed for 30ish years....
You know, if you had finished that kit back then they would have released the plastic version a few weeks after you were done. Then the rest of us wouldn't have had to wait.
True, I have a recently built resin model of a Garford-Putilov armoured car and CSM is coming out with a styrene kit of that this year, so if you are into WW1 you have me to thank...LOL @@wwiiinplastic4712
Luckely for the Vomag (the pronaunciation is in the G, not the V, don't bother lol) we as a community of modellers are the mother that loves all her childeren, even the butt ugly ones. I'm certainly building one of these!
Very cool.
Should the barrel lock be mounted to the barrel?
Lol. I asked so no one else has to now.
Great looking model Andy.
NO It shouldn't it was glued on and then knocked off lol I make a comment about it ithe video.
Amazing looking piece of gear!
Great video thanks.
Cool as always 👍
Wow Andy, far out! If I can see my way clear in the near future I have got to most definitely get one of these, 4 sure!!!! I wanted one of those Das Werk kits, the tank hauler truck with the tank hauling lowboy trailer, I can't remember the nomenclature of it?? Anyways, yeah they sure make cool kits!
the faun with 115 trailer?
Rare beast , never ever seen one 👌🏻😎
Only ten built, so very rare indeed.
With kit prices being through the roof, I was expecting Andy to say this kit was $150.00. 😳
Andy, I have seen pictures of the vehicle. However it has been a number of years ago.
Would raise shelf fit in the open racks? It's a beautiful kit
Looks like a nice kit but does it come with crew??
For the love of all that's sacred, please, please, please someone start making 1/16 WW1 aircraft.
It looks like it could use a PE frame for the wind shield. With PE wipers.
Hey Andy! Any word on Das Werkes Vomag flak bus I’ve ordered?
Can the gun be articulated to any angle?
Not seeing it on the preorder Europe store?
Don't see on web for preorder
me: il take the bus to the "hood"
stranger; what kind of bus?
me: the flak bus
After being a pizza delivery driver that is the only vehicle I would now take to the hood.
👍
⭐🙂👍
Has it got ammo storage?
Yes, it has space for seventy-two rounds, that could be displayed.
The V is pronounced like an F in German.
But Andy is speaking english soooo
What years and where were these deployed.?
From online: All ten vehicles were assigned to the first company of the anti-tank battalion Panzerjäger-Abteilung 8 which participated in the Invasion of Poland in 1939, the Battle of France in 1940 and Operation Barbarossa in 1941. The company was redesignated as Panzerjäger-Kompanie ("Anti-Tank Company") 601 in January 1942 and then as the third company of Anti-Tank Battalion 559 the following April. It reported that the last three vehicles had been lost by March 1943.
@@wwiiinplastic4712 WOW... None went to North Africa . By the looks of it, I was guessing they stayed close in Germany as anti-aircraft guns. Didn't look stable enough for the anti-tank role.
Thanks.
Has to be pronouced "F"OMAG... it is a V and in German it is pronounced F, the W is pronounced like in "what" or "who"... Gruss Gott from France)))))
NO
Looked good until the clear parts! Why mold the wipers to the windshield???? Dumb.
I prefer it that way. Gluing wipers on is tricky.
@@darkwood777 You don't enjoy it when one drops onto the windshield as you're trying to place it, leaving a smear of glue right in the center? I think it's more fun than feeding time at the carpet monster farm.
@@darkwood777 true, but I rather either have the wipers molded to the windshield frame and then add the “glass” or have two separate wipers that need to be glued to the frame. I find it trickier to paint the wipers that are molded to the windshield than to attach the wipers to the frame. Two different opinions, neither one is objectively right or wrong. Happy modeling!
@@johnstimitz2629 I use micro mask to mask around my wipers, pain the wipers, and remove the mask :)
All that detail, all that plastic, all those parts and all those dollars but NO metal gun barrel and no P.E. No doubt available at extra cost from an affiliated company. Not really good enough for the expected price. Sorry to put a downer on this but.......
He said this is the first prototype, so none of that stuff was available. Wait and see what develops, impatient one.
it does have PE...
Looks like a great kit. Unfortunately, at 80 bucks it is ANOTHER kit that is overpriced so it won't make it into the stash.
You're kidding right??? Did you not watch the video? There is a lot of detail packed in this kit! $80 is a steal!!!
@@Bilbirk62So you don't mind forking over 80 bucks for a hunk of plastic. Great for you. I'm not.
Buona sera , Dove posso comprare questo modello?.
Grazie ♥️👍
