    Great tutorial. But I found it works a lot better to use fingernail clippers to cut those small nubs off the sides. And a nail file to file them down flat. 👍🏾

Started to cut and then blade just stop cutting like it dulled out. Motor spinning and blades moving. Is that possible that a blade can just dull out like that? Thank you.

    My trimmers dont sound as strong as yours. If I tighten the blade down too much, it sounds like it’s struggling. If I loosen it, the blade starts to wiggle. Any advice?

    • @cnegron621
      @cnegron621 4 роки тому +1

      I have the same issue! Sometimes the trimmer won't turn on unless I loosen the screws. Another thing, the 2 top screws don't seem to align perfectly to the holes, they seem to go in a bit diagonal. Did u find any solutions?

    • @quest808
      @quest808 4 роки тому +1

      Cristian Negron 8:48 from this part on. Pay close attention on how he sets those screws. They need to be to sit flat. Make sure your holes are drilled correctly. At first and my screws weren’t set correctly so it was causing the trimmer to bog out. Every thing needs to sit flush. After making these adjustments, My trimmers work perfect, They hit hard, They are my finishers. Those 2 screws on the blade won’t look like they’ll screw in but that’s how it is. Just have to angle it a bit. Just check your setup again. Hope this helps 🤙🏾

      dinky19810 you're right, my first Li seemed solid, felt porwerful, and this new one i got seems weak, full charge and sounds "dull" if that makes sense.
      And i imagine with a heavier blade its all bad haha

    • @2ndNatureHairSolutions
      @2ndNatureHairSolutions 6 років тому +6

      dinky19810 actually, not really? How much heavier the the t blade bottom blade compared to the bottom blade from the original Li???
      I bet its irrelevant, its the only part that moves.
      Your clipper is heavier, but thats irrelevant to the motor.

    You leave way to much for the imagination. When you do a how to, it's exactly that, How to.
    You should of showed before and after pictures of what the pieces looked like before drilling and before being shaved off. I can get it done, for these young guys that don't even have tools , there is just way to much stuff missing for them to get the whole picture.
    Thanks for your efforts anyways.

    • @kikado3
      @kikado3  4 роки тому

      Agree with you. In order to do this correct I would of had to perform this perfectly while recording it. I had to do everything beforehand to make sure it works and by then either I throw the video together or buy another set of unmodified stuff to add for just video purposes and never use. I decided to save the money. I tried to put enough content with this situation so most people could perform the mod and in most cases people have done it successfully with this video. There’s no way I could of satisfied everyone given these circumstances so I will wholeheartedly agree with you. Cheers buddy
