Oh boy, where do we start! If you like seeing Rico geeking out over a sound system - you are in for a treat. lol But I got to majorly geek out as well... in the Owner's Suite! One of the coolest Engineering Marvels I have seen onboard recently. Also, the interior design was so beautiful and very much reminded me on our Carla Guilhem Design 🤩 We got to meet a Superyacht Crew fan of the channel and geek out in the Engine Room together as well. We Really Loved this Baglietto Dom 133 Luxury SuperYacht... can you tell?! 🤣

It was great having the engineer conduct the engine room tour. Loved the details.
Always nice to see a Baglietto. Love the minor details which offer certain conveniences, like the integral sliding sink covers.
With a sound package, I might go with integrated systems in multiple locations which could also be combined to play the same source, *and* include I/O panels and separate storable components for the “party” areas like the cockpit and sundeck.
Having separate components also allows for staging all across the vessel, inside and out, depending on the event and location.
Edit: Imagine a mini line array which might be faced aft or astern for more consistent coverage when the party hits the water or presenting toward other vessels or guests ashore! *DJ battle mode!* 😊

If you can't re-arrange the loose furniture, or add 1-2 knots to the top speed, with sound pressure, why even bother with a sound system like that😆

On the sound issue, the quality of the sound is top priority, for me. And, for that, speaker placement is important - more important than aesthetics. This means, creating a proper sound stage for the ears of the listeners.
Speaker placement can make a huge difference in the overall listening experience. If you don't like the way the speakers look, close your eyes. While your eyes are closed, if the sound stage is correct, you will be able to point to where the instruments would be located on an actual stage at a concert venue. If you cannot point to where the instruments are located on the stage, the speaker placement - or, the listening position - is off.

George Pullman invented the Pullman cars for trains. His cars were the most popular for many years. He had some interesting ideas for his company too. It is interesting that the pull down beds on a ship is called a Pullman.

Victoria, you mentioned Star Trek about the powered doors, but I was thinking the same thing about the design style the entire time. It's somehow modern and traditional at the same time. Love it.
I listen to primarily classical, and Americana/Folk/eclectic music so I like the system you've picked for your boat.
Another Awesome tour of an Amazing ship!! To answer your question, If I were fortunate enough to be able to build a beautiful Yacht like that, I would Definitely have the biggest/loudest sound system available to always have where ever I am, Be the center of the party! If they could be out of sight, that’s not a bad thing, but the priority for me would be the feel of the system, No less than 4 subs and integrated throughout the ship!! Love you guys!! Your tours are the cherry on top of my weekend!!!
At 45:28, to the left, metal magnetic tray on side of box. Awesome idea for quick grab tools, and takes up no horizontal space. Love it!
I'm with Rico on this one, there is always room to add more bass to the sound. That's why I like BASSBOSS Professional Speakers to add just the right amount of punch to the sound.

That is a crazy yacht! Glad you had Thomas there to walk you through at the end - he knows his game. I liked Rico's 'Elmer Fudd' moment with the word 'Enwhyting'. Victoria, I'm old school, because I was there, and usually like to see a massive sound system speaker array. I haven't heard your setup yet, so maybe that would change my mind. This is the best 40metri yacht ive seen so far.
And the most impressive yacht i have seen on ur channel
Interior design by studio vafiadis is much better than that of her bigger sister baglietto t52.
And Steel hull aluminium super structure which you would normally find over 50metri yacht range.
Most of the 40metri yachts are made out of grp.
And also got Long range. 4.000nm for 40.000liters fuel tank at a cruising speed. Even 6.500nm at 7 knots 12guests 9 crews.
Everything is Perfect for its size 398gt or 412gt
I heard even 19.5mil euro pricing is reasonable compare to other italian yacht builders

The reason for such larger and loose speakers is to direct and focus the energy/sound, because you can't pressurize the out doors like you can a sealed room for immersive infrasonic sound Victoria. Especially with such a large open outdoor space with loose furniture, this is ideal when you want to follow the party with the sound, it gives you endless options for different set ups in different areas.
About the large amount of AV equipment, in a previous video Rico asked for some ideas to set up your upcoming Yacht build...this is why I recommended to keep the rooms all localized with much smaller equipment. You just need a Cat6 Ethernet cable in the room near the TV, a splitter/modem/router to like an Apple TV/PlayStation/Xbox and a tiny amp/receiver and they should have access to their media. Good thing you chose K-array because they are very efficient so a tiny amp/receiver will work fine.

Such a big boat with so much room and possibilities and and it looks like a hospital inside.
I would use Sonos systems throughout. The Sonos subwoofer is unbeatable for its size and the technology in the Sub is crazy good. A Sonos system throughout allows for so much more flexibility of use and for all on board to use.
Sound system should be a miracle sound coming from the invisible miracle!

Rico & Nikki - Just as I got used to deciphering your individual accents, you introduce us to a 3rd person and yet another accent to figure out! No Seriously, It was wonderful to have a member of the crew (especially THE Engineer!) give us a tour of his Home on the Water!
I do wish you would have asked him for more elaboration on how he maintains his equipment - that little bit where he talks about the water maker and filtration kit was made more interesting when he brought up how much water is used and how it goes up substantially when kids are onboard was an interesting tidbit. As an avid environmentalist and former Biologist, his explanation of how the Black water is treated before being dumped overboard was really relevant and especially interesting to me.
Perhaps you would consider more mini tours with crew members as part of your videos, or even as a separate video. Maybe get the Captain to highlight the Pilot house features for us and perhaps talk abut what it is like to Captain 'this' particular Yacht. It would be fun to hear some anecdotes from his Pilotting adventures or even describing what it is like to ride on his boat.
Having crew talk on camera takes away the mystery of who these people are who work on these mega yachts. Maybe we can hear from the Chef, too?

Really enjoy the interaction with the crew and having them explain the extra details. Thomas is a prime example, thank you Thomas! Wonderful tour and the layout is lovely even though I am not a fan of muted dull interiors. As for the speaker system, I prefer out of sight out of mind.

Luv the aft layout with loose furniture concept... regarding the speakers... hmmm.. very hard to choose 'cause the free standing speakers allows to reposition and "maybe" can have a better sound in a certain spot I guess.... but I think I will go with the flush or hidden concept... probably putting the "snake" K-Array type so people can hold and walk around with it 😅.. btw, listening to Thomas, if I close my eyes, you'll think you're watching Top Gear 😂.. awesome yacht.. luv it 🥰😍👍👍
