When you posted the part 2 transitioning video, I told you dat I was ready to big chop and I have to say because of your words of encouragement, IM FINALLY NATURAL and I cant thank u enough for encouraging me to cut off the relaxed ends and I'm really happy I did

I'm at the 8 month mark. I've been scissor happy for months. I cut off several inches at about month 4 which put me at just above shoulder length. It made my hair so much easier to deal with. A week ago I cut a couple of inches to put my hair back at shoulder length. I think I'm just going to keep doing mini chops and keeping shoulder length hair until all of the relaxed ends are gone.

I'm late to the party because these videos are very old, however I'm so glad I found you! I have been on and off natural for most of my adult years , however I am coming off a good year and a half of wearing my hair mostly straight. I would say I have 3b 3c extremely fine hair . I have never really had an issue reverting back to curly but idk if it's because I'm in my 40s now, hormones ,or whatnot, but my hair is not having it lately. I seem to have forgotten what's worked for me in the past, and unfortunately alot of product, oils, etc are toi heavy for my hair and actually end up breaking it. I have been trying to follow so many tutorials, but just feel confused with all the contradictory info, and yes, I am guilty of trying to get twist outs to stay twisted whole I have straight heat damaged ends. So I am so glad I have found your tutorial woth exact week by week steps. This is exactly what I've been looking for. It's crazy because when I wasn't wearing my hair straight I've always been a wash and go girl and never had to put much thought into my hair because for the most part it's very easy to deal with. However now I actually want to grow my hair past bra strap length which is probably the longest stretches I've ever achieved. Clearly my practices have not been healthy for retention. I'm feeling much more confident now with your steps so thank you!!

Hi, I'm in the awkward stage, was ready to braid hair again. But I realized the more I played with my hair the better it looked. Yes, I need words of encouragement to pull this off.

I'm 16 months post relaxer. And I'm literally thinking of going natural today. But the shrinkage part made me a little bit scared😂 just want to make sure my hair is long enough for a ponytail/puff. Have been wearing my hair in buns for the last 4-6 months. And I'm tired of it. You've been a great inspiration throughout my journey. So thank you for that

This was SO helpful and encouraging! I'm at the "scissor happy" phase and not seeing my curls bounce or take shape yet even though I've been moisturizing and conditioning! Glad to know that our curls need a little time to shape up! No one ever tells you this kind of stuff! Thank you soooo much!

If you don't want too big chop. Get fenugreek, chebe, and henna. Chebe naturally detangles no effort comb, notes or heavy lifting. Make it a tea by adding hot water. Cooling and storing in the refrigerator for use when you need to wet your hair. Stops over manipulation, breakage, shedding and strengthens. You can style it as usual. For braid outs and easy transitioning hair styling. Put chebe in gels. It balances your PH so you don't get protein overload.

I'm waiting until my first year to make a big chop cause I want to get rid of all the "old curls" and start over with a new hairstyle😊😊😊😊😊

😱 I wish I knew what I knew before, because I went back and relaxed my hair but I really didn’t have the time to do my hair like I really wanted too, but before the pandemic I had been working from home for about 2 years still going into the office for meetings so I had to look decent, but now we are having meetings on zoom and I can really learn my hair more so I am back at it wish me luck last relaxer was September 2020

Absolutely love this series and it’s helping me so much! I’m so excited to eventually have a full head of natural hair! Right now I’m afraid to cut my hair because it’s almost down to my waist but the ends are thin due to heat damage. After watching your series I think I’ll start cutting 1-1.5 inches at a time to get there sooner! Thank you! 🥰

Great video. I'm 8 and half months into transitioning. Going to mini chop to give myself the time to adjust to shorter hair when I finally do the big chop
