Thanks for the analysis. I went for the Panasonic G100. Interchangeable lenses, external mic input, separate viewfinder, plus the flip out screen WITH touch controls on the screen, and longer battery life.
I am thinking the same for the compactness of G100, the big EVF and ability to change lenses, though my objective is photography. I might get a small prime and the 12-35 f2.8
After seeing the better video image quality of the G100 in many parts of this video demo, I agree the Panasonic G100 is the best of the 3. The iphone and ZV-1 did not look good in some parts of this review, especially the lower the light went.)
And it's a lot better than it gets credit for. Only real downside is the 2160p crop. If you want quality 2160p, you really need to look at a different price point. For quality 1080p, it's an excellent camera.
@@BillyBobDingledorfall I use is 1080 p 60 anyways especially for streaming and it’s great on a tripod because you could disable the stabilizer and gets rid of all crop at 1080 in 4k it crops no matter what so that’s kinda whack
When it is all said and done, and on UA-cam, the Panasonic looks the best to me. I also thought the audio sounded better than the Sony. Thank you for doing this comparison!

V-logging does not require 4K video as this video seems to suggest. Most people watch videos on portable devices and streaming to these devices is not done in 4K there’s no reason for it which is why the Panasonic is optimized for 1080. Additionally it does appear that the Panasonic uses the 4K signal and down samples it to 1080 which provides a higher quality video sample similar to what a few years ago cinema cameras like that Canon C 100 used to do. I kind of feel like the heavy 4K crop on the Panasonic was outlined as a negative whereas there was no or little mention of the 1080 video it provides which is an unbalanced review. I’m pretty sure the old iPhone Xr it was also not shot in 4K which is not featured here. And the Sony is also cropped 4K which makes for a similarly too tight for unusable vlogging look. Simply the 4K modes of the Sony and Panasonic are used to provide stabilization for 1080 video. From the manufacturer’s perspective they opted to allow access to 4K for filming because that’s what people are assessing as a value option for purchase and called it feature set. However the down sampling is what is used to provide electronic stabilization without more expensive and mechanical hardware. They understand that full readout 4K is not necessary for intended application. I get that they trying to do it out of the box comparison with these three cameras but once you start down the road of filming then you’ll quickly see that the limitations of the Zv1. With the Sony there are no options outside of what you purchased in the first place. With the Panasonic you can add ultra wide angles and telephoto lenses from mid range to high quality. When you’re buying a camera you’re buying a platform. The platform can be the cell phone which has limitations to the built in cameras and some external mic options to full cinema cameras. The point-and-shoot camera style of the Sony has limitations of a single lens system with no adaptability. The Panasonic has the most flexible choice for focal lengths. The Panasonic is also a really great stills camera. Going back to the platform argument, the ZV is so limited it’s really hard to justify other than perhaps it’s size This video doesn’t speak to workflow at all, which is the other half of the equation. Which camera offers the fastest or easiest import to an NLE, what requires the least amount of post processing to I can get my videos out to you tube. Using the iPhone and an NLE is not necessarily the easiest of tasks if you’re not using something like final cut pro. But more importantly that a lot of people want to edit their videos on portable devices , laptops and tablets, but as you start getting into 4K video for 720 / 1080 P delivery typically, you’re just using a lot of computing power and hard drive space for no real gain. I honestly think that this review should have been done by comparing the 1080 output, done with the cameras being hand held and on sticks from an arm’s-length distance as a vlog would do. The review could also have included some narration from behind the camera while filming something and you would quickly see that the rear facing mic on the Panasonic is very good idea. After watching a lot of UA-cam videos on various cameras over the years I think I’m just a little frustrated sometimes about the lack of objectivity that goes into these types of reviews. There’s a lot of talk about hardware but not the implications of utilization of the hardware in the day-to-day tasks that they are meant to be used for. There are reasons why hardware is designed the way that it is and features or lack of features are often looked at as a negative when compared to another device whereas that feature may not have added any real value whatsoever. If the zv1 offered 6k would that be better? If the Panasonic offered ibis would it be better? Well 6k will kill your battery and drive space, while ibis increases the size, weight and decreases battery life. Can it be done, yes... but are these features adding real value to the task at hand. Tangental feature sets are a case study in consumer and industrial design. More is not always better.
Many good points. This review was not done well. For example, did they really listen to the audio output? The G100 outperformed the others by a mile overall. Oh well, no surprise. This is why I don't subscribe to DPReview.
You guys are crazy if you thought the ZV1's audio was better than the G100. Hell, even its auto setting (which i'm sure it was on since you didnt bother to show its other ones) outperformed the ZV1 by miles.
I actually think G100 is quite better in almost every regard from both, but it require other lenses then the kit one, it is not built for just one. And the autofocus was improved as you said. And it is the biggest sensor. But it can also do close and far object. And the stablilization if you lower the level of it will have less crop, the highest setting is for the back mic and you behind the camera, but the lower one is comparable with the other 2 and give you wider view, and with another lense it can give you even more. And the sound is unfair, because ZV1 is with in the box this fur, but if you add it to the panasonic g100 will sound much more comparable and very close to Sony. So I think with some smart choices of lenses, fur, and tweaking of the profiles in the camera Panasonic can be easily the winner...
G100 sounds much natural too me where ZV-1 sounds very thin and muffled, like you'd hear underwater recorded sound. Also I'd prefer G100 SOOC colour than ZV-1.
Absolutely Lumix G100 with all its capabilities checked all boxes! Compact, lightweight, flexible lenses, natural color science, EVF, nice sound, fully touchscreen, pretty decent AF, nice looking menus and easy to operate, design looks pro. I don't need 4K, why so underrated?
Personally after reviewing these video samples I would put the winner as the Panasonic G100. Why? It clearly has superior video "image quality" over the other 2 cameras which have smaller sensors. Also, not all vloggers have to shoot at 4K or want to. You could easily vlog at 1080P at 30 frames. Sure in some areas of this video, the others are better in use, but in the end, the image quality of the m43 sensor of G100 wins. If walking with the G100 keep in 1080P, and use stabilizers at 30 fps, but don't walk as fast and video is fine. Some creators capture in 1080P then after their final edit, they uprez to 4K before posting on UA-cam. Some only post at 1080P. For the low cost of a G100 in this price range, is it in my view better for vlogging over these other 2. (However, if you going to a higher price, you might consider Sony ZV-E10 or Nikon z30 or Canon R10 as alternatives with larger APSC sensors. Note, that the lenses get larger the bigger sensor you go).
Guys I have to compliment you and the outstanding way you put together videos all these years, you don't talk too much fluff wasting viewers time, you don't sit at a table the whole video, for every subject you mive to a different location for eye relief of viewers. You use just enough comedy while taking the review serious and are fair. I've learned some of this for my channel if I'm honest. Much respect.
I’m fairly sure they were taken with the front-facing selfie camera. Don’t forget there is a far superior camera with a much larger sensor on the back of the iPhone. Also, don’t forget you can purchase a $5 pro video app to get complete control over frame rate, bitrate, audio, stabilisation, etc.
Unfortunately I think most people don't even notice it and want that. I mean a few of the most downloaded apps sole purpose is to make your skin and face look as unnatural as possible. There are music videos with 200k$+ budget shot on Arris and Reds which get completely destroyed in post production by skin smoothing. Watch like any Kpop MV. Videos like Blackpinks Du-Du-Du have super expensive makeup artists yet they decide it's not enough and they gotta obliterate anything that resembles human skin. Influencers in china already started using special makeup that raises contrast on their face so the filters work better for their livestreams (look at South China Morning Posts "Live-streamers use scary make-up to look perfect on camera"). We've reached a point where a huge amount of people expect their camera to make them look like that.
@@KiinaSu it's a big part in many asian cultures, gaining popularity in the US, BUT not really accepted in most other places. Apple made the camera work like this without the option for a more Natural look by choice, to cater especially to the chinese market, their most important target.
2021 HOLIDAYS UPDATE: US $648 at B&H for the Panny G100 with lens and tripod grip kit. Use standard digital, plus lens stabilization in either 4K or 1080p, update the firmware, and it will blow the other two into the weeds. Later you can add a Laowa 7.5mm f/2 to your kit (it's manual focus, but the new version connects electronically for aperture control) for all the wide angle loveliness you'll ever need. Oh, and the OZO audio is extremely versatile, just like the rest of this camera's features. Bad job on this one DPReview.
I disagree. The Lumix only cuts with full stabilization, there are other options. It also has a mic input like the Sony and they don't even mention it. It can record the sound from behind for when you explain something that you are recording and they don't mention it either. In order to ignore its main advantage, the lenses, they say it is a test of what is in the box. ETC.
The iPhone was muffled as hell, absolutely should have come last. The Panasonic was richer than the Sony but not as good at eliminating wind noise so it's a bit of a toss up between those two.
If you stick a small mirror to the back of the iPhone, you can use the much better rear camera to film yourself. If you can see your reflection in the mirror, you’ll be correctly framed.
Out of the box the Panasonic is an interchangeable lens camera. Easy to put on lenses from fisheye to telephoto. There are plenty of fast lenses available at f1.4, f1.2, and f0.95. Restricting the test to just the kit lens is hobbling the Panasonic in regards to where it shines. Changing lenses makes the Panasonic the best of the 3 in low light, and makes it the best for a wide view. This is an out of the box capability.
Well, it is pretty fair if you look at pricing though, plus do you want to put some honking fast glass on it and still use it for vlogging around town? ( I have owned most of the fastest glass in MFT, and it is fantastic, but expensive and heavy). In terms of portability the ZV-1 and Iphone simply will beat the G100, even with the kit lens. PS, I now use the ZV-1 for carrying around, webcam etc, and Panasonic S1R for my most important stuff ;)
@@tosvus I like the ZV-1 for on tripod product shooting, but handheld outside, especially after dark, it is a terrible camera. I cannot get sharp photographs hand held at night, whereas both the Panasonic G9 or Olympus EM-1 III are fantastic for shooting hand held after dark. I like the ZV-1, but am painfully aware of its limitations as well as its strengths. I think that while buying lenses costs extra, it can be done slowly according to affordability, and the vast creative and practical possibilities it opens up is worth it.
@@artistjoh agreed, though if anyone plans to expand their lens lineup, I would much rather have them consider G90/95 or even better G9 (which I used to own and you also mention) if they can find a good price. Well worth some extra money over the G100. I find good ibis is key for mft cameras.
I feel like you should have also included the canon m200, Sony a5100, and fuji xt200. My opinion is that if someone is going to spend the money to upgrade from their phone they should really consider an interchangeable lens system that will allow them to upgrade to better glass in the future.
I think the wider the focal length, the more difficult is to pack with a large aperture. 24mm seems tight, but for me its better choice for general video shooting
I LOVE how you ALREADY KNEW what the results were going to be so that you could talk about what we are seeing as we are actually seeing it! It can be annoying when other reviewers shoot and figure it out as they go, or leave it to you to figure it out over the youtube video, which is hard to do without punching into everything. This puts your reviews in a class of its own, great job!
Agree, except for the weird fact that when I switch between the audio tests using headphones, the Lumix actually sounds better than both the Sony and iPhone. Granted, the iPhone cuts the noise but it also mangles the voice really hard.
The fact that the lens is fixed and NOT wide enough for vlogging, makes this Sony no-go from the very start. It's not even 24mm equivalent, more like 26.
Its zoom lens, and i think the focal length its better choice for general video shooting, wider lens usually doesnt have large aperture. If wide lens is priority i think go pro hero 8 might be a better choice for vlogging
I have to disagree with a lot. First, why the hell 4k? Use 1080p on the g100 and upacale, it will still be miles better tham the iphone. Audio was also strange... Ergonomics? What is it, right?
I just can't find videos about cameras shooting videos, only vlogging. I'm doing hiking videos (walking with gimbal). Not GoPro. I'm not swimming, running, cycling... What's the best camera for just making videos? Make awesome video with great stabilisation, 4k at 60fps, USB-C connector, can make even great photos? Please help. So many cameras out there.
i listened this video with a good headphone and i need to be agree with them, Panasonic's is thin and doesn't have much body and picking a lot of detail from environment.
Autofocus doesn't work, 4K is cropped, no stabilization at all and photo quality is destroyed by shutter shock. It is cheap, it has 4K but thats where pros of this camera ends. I still have G7 on shelf, because thats the first camera I bought with my money and I have a lot of memories with it, but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Save up for G85 and you will get magnesium body, weather sealing, very good IBIS, no shutter shock, more FPS in continuous photo mod,e 2x bigger buffer, faster UHS interface, SD card slot on right instead of bottom, slightly larger EVF magnification and electronic stabilization option. Still I probably forgot about many other G85 advantages. Or you can get GX80 which at least in my country is the same price as G7, but it has IBIS.
@@piotrplenzler3519 It is relative. I've watched many videos record with the G7 and they are great. Of course the G85 is cool, but to start the G7 is fabulous.

Uh was the XR chosen because of price point? Because there are newer and better iPhones out there... yes the 11pro line is much more expensive though. Not sure if the base 11 is identical to the XR though.
Nice review. Thank you for your honest and fair feedback. I've tried using a camera without a viewfinder. Never again. Sometimes I need to review pics and videos on a sunny day and the back screeen is useless when you can't see it. The RX 100 series is amazing but too expensive for me. I love that Sony finally has a fully articulating screen. Why have they waited so long so gove is this? I find it invaluable for several reasons. I am sure other people appreciate it as well. I will have to wait for a version of this camera that has a viewfinder. Waiting patiently. :)
Lol to me panasnic is first. You can do any lense you want. Phones cant do it and sony cant do it. For non beginners this is the killing feature.panasonic also has the biggest sensor , better picture quality. Very strange comparison i disagree with most you said. But at least you make i phone users feel better about their crappy phones😂 no one who is a little bit serious about vlogging would chose a phone over the panasonic
tell me did the G100 Af improved? it seems great :) I so wanna buy this camera... I am afraid about the AF though, on the other G100 DPreview it seemed so bad:( Thanks :)
The front facing camera on the iPhone 11 is vastly superior to the XR. The XR is 1080p without HDR, 11 is 4K with smart HDR. The 11 has wider lens with ability to chose between two focal lengths.
Sorry, that iPhone's audio wasn't good. It might have been richer, but it sounds really weird and gritty and tunnel-y. It sounds like there's some block in the mid-highs missing, making it sound muffled. Not that the Sony or Panasonic were all that good, either.
Hard to understand the logic behind this review. The entire purpose of the interchangeable lens and mic input is that you can extend the capabilities beyond, your favorite phrase, "what is in the box". This is like me comparing a computer with a fixed graphic card to one that is upgradable and incorrectly thinking the fixed graphic card is better. The Panasonic can grow with you as your capabilities improve, the Sony gets sold on eBay.
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II is a killer value on the used market if you're into vlogging. - Uncropped 4K, including Cinema 4K - Dual card slots, including one UHS II - The best IBIS in the business - Phase-detect autofocus - Headphone and mic jacks - Fully articulating screen - Weather sealed Or, if you want a new camera, there's the OM-D E-M5 Mark III. You'll just miss out on the headphone jack and the dual card slots, but you will get 1080p at 120 fps if you're into slow motion.
There's actually something VERY strange with the iPhone stabilization. Does not look smooth, and feels like some weird frame rate and flicker when you look at your face during that clip 10:35 .
If you use a smartphone as a web camera for live streaming, the video quality is much worse because there is no AI editing on the smartphone when streaming, right?
in iphone 12 era (dpreview shows off an IPHONE XR) seems at least you should use 11 instead althrough it is a old tech, but 11 has much more more better audio and video vs the XR
And yet, if most of the people here were asked: What camera out of these 3 would you pick? Almost all would say Panasonic, for the mount. I get the comparison with out of the box things, but then you can say: On iphone, you can edit your videos, and share them. If you are spending that much money on vlogging, you are at least semi-serious. And out of the box is not how they would use the cameras.
In the real world, people in the Apple Ecosystem tend to be all Apple all the time (they've drunk the Kool-Aid). I can use my Apple Watch 5 as both a viewfinder and a remote trigger for my iPhone XS-not an option available with either Sony or Panasonic. Because of this I don't need to always have the camera in my hand-I can be more creative with composition. Also my Watch 5 has a built-in mic, obviating the need to stay close the the camera to record sound. With a smart-phone you can do your editing, using an app, with your phone. No need to rush home to your iMac, before airing. Another smart-phone plus is the ability to stream live. My iPhone XS has an IP68 water resistance rating (1 meter for 30 minuets), letting me sing and dance in the rain if I feel the urge ;-). Whats not to like 8-)

ETC.
The audio... Was it backwards? Cuz the first one sounded the best and the iphone the worst.
Exactly
I agreed!
The iPhone was muffled as hell, absolutely should have come last. The Panasonic was richer than the Sony but not as good at eliminating wind noise so it's a bit of a toss up between those two.
The iPhone was definitely the worst.
Panny natural sounding, Sony tinny and cheap.
If you stick a small mirror to the back of the iPhone, you can use the much better rear camera to film yourself. If you can see your reflection in the mirror, you’ll be correctly framed.
the front camera also does the terrible face editing, not quite as extreme as the selfie cam, but it is distracting
Hmm the g100 sounded and looked best to me...
Definitely can’t crop out the beard. Absolute no-no.
I feel like you should have also included the canon m200, Sony a5100, and fuji xt200. My opinion is that if someone is going to spend the money to upgrade from their phone they should really consider an interchangeable lens system that will allow them to upgrade to better glass in the future.
‘That can look pretty rough’ - Switches to Jordan’s face
ZV1 had a 18-50 lens, it'd be the perfect vlogging camera.
Agreed, the focal length choice is terrible for vloggers
Sony just used off the shelf parts repackaged, which is unfortunate. That camera would be insane with a wide lens and touch controls.
I think the wider the focal length, the more difficult is to pack with a large aperture. 24mm seems tight, but for me its better choice for general video shooting
@@azmihakam lol your 24mm after stabilization and 4k would be 33mm
What I learned from this video is S1H is superb and decent microphone is essential.
get a lens and a gimbal for your g100 if you want the best stuff... if you want amateurish stuff get the zv1
IPhone 11: “Am I a joke to you?”
For me an audio winner is G100. Second iPhone and Sony on third place.
Same Here. but remember they are Sony Biased. Just watch their videos it is beyond obvious.
I want a spin off video with Jordan and that shampoo bottle. There's a lot of material to work with there.
Thanks to you guys, I can finally choose! Fructis sleek & shine 🙉
Loving the content focused on introductory/entry-level gear!
I have to disagree with a lot.
First, why the hell 4k? Use 1080p on the g100 and upacale, it will still be miles better tham the iphone.
Audio was also strange...
Ergonomics? What is it, right?
Thanks very much. This really helps me settle on the Sony ZV-1.
I actually bought the ZV-1 around when it was announced, and it makes a great point-and-shoot stills camera. Haven't vlogged with it yet though lol
Is it working well...I'm planning to buy one?
Just watched the new Sony A7c review. How would that camera do in this competition? I always enjoy your vids. Thanks!
Not trying to change your verdict but Panasonic audio sounded better, by far
Many have said this and I agree. But Sony gives them free trips so....
G100 sound quality is way better than iPhone's.
Umm, that ZV-1 is $750! That’s insane, even if it does so well for vlogging!
the background of the G100 continually seems to be out of focus, but has a better color profile
"Apple XR" instead of "iPhone XR" just sounds strange. Although I get you were talking about brands & model names..
6:53 is me approaching women at bars
What I've heared from a few vloggers about the Sony is that if u stand behind the camera the audio is awefull!
I gotta be honest. In my TV at the highest res... The panasonic won ALL the categories (minus the AF).
It won audio?
@What Are You On About ok 😢
I don't agree with the audio 2nd place for Sony. It didn't sound good at all in mine opinion. But maybe that's because I'm watching this on my phone.
the G100 sounded "better" but the sony sounded closer to how chris actually sounds?
i listened this video with a good headphone and i need to be agree with them, Panasonic's is thin and doesn't have much body and picking a lot of detail from environment.
You should try a quality speaker or headphone. The Pana sounded the worst.
@@tommihommi1 Though the same
As always, another great video. (Note to Chris, there's a typo in the description, it should be Panasonic)
Excellent, thorough review -- thank you!
Real nice comparison. Would love to see g7x3 vs zv1. Thanks again.
@DPRreview you know, now I'm waiting for Garnier shampoo review !
Panasonic made the best blogging camera years back. G7
You can pick it up cheap.
@@piotrplenzler3519 4k is cropped. No one cares for vlogging.
No stabilization. That is not true. I've never experienced shutter shock.
Anything else? PS.. Best doesn't mean perfect.
@@LiveWellUkraine
GX8, GX80 and GX9 has Dual IS
G80, G90, G9, GH5 has Dual I.S. 2
G7 DOESN'T have ANY stabilization, just Google "Dual I.S. / Dual I.S.2" and go to Panasonic site - where do you see mention of G7?
@@piotrplenzler3519 I don't have to google anything. I'm looking at my actual menu. It has Stabilization
The stabilization of iPhone XR makes you jumping all the time! lool :D
Uh was the XR chosen because of price point? Because there are newer and better iPhones out there... yes the 11pro line is much more expensive though. Not sure if the base 11 is identical to the XR though.
What about the G100 as a TimeLapse machine?
Nice review. Thank you for your honest and fair feedback.
I've tried using a camera without a viewfinder. Never again. Sometimes I need to review pics and videos on a sunny day and the back screeen is useless when you can't see it. The RX 100 series is amazing but too expensive for me. I love that Sony finally has a fully articulating screen. Why have they waited so long so gove is this? I find it invaluable for several reasons. I am sure other people appreciate it as well. I will have to wait for a version of this camera that has a viewfinder. Waiting patiently. :)
Sorry, I meant to post this on the review of the Zv-1.
You lost credibility right away when you said Panasonic audio is 3rd. Lies the g100 audio is best hands down.
As usual ,very informative . Keep up great vids
The last depth of field shot is supposed to be the ZV-1 but the text underneath says G100. But anyhow good review guys.
Why not iPhone 11 ? Sony and pany release in 2020 . iPhone XR 2 year old.
Jordan has an iPhone XR as his personal phone I believe
Especially odd as the iPhone 11 was the first to get a large update to the selfie camera (from 7MP to 12MP)
Their reasoning was the price but that doesn't hold up either. At least in here iPhone 11 is actually cheaper than either of those cameras.
You missed "Similar price"?
Yeah.. the iPhone 11 can even do 4k on the front facing camera. And it has the wide lens on the back
Is the Smartphone VFR or CFR--that's a real pain to deal with.
Luna Gaia Games watch the review of markuspix. It will answer all of your questions he did a wonderful and helpful review
Yeah, I agree with all of this.
Love to use my iPhone for video. Only problem, haven't found out how to transfer large 4+ GB video files to my PC.
What I do is upload to Google Drive using the app and then download the file to the PC.
What a surprise, above average camera with wowowow-features win this
hey enjoying your camera reviews keep it up 😊
very helpful....many thanks
I like the HDR from Apple. Wish Sony could do something about it...
Awesome assessment. Thank you !!!
The front facing camera on the iPhone 11 is vastly superior to the XR.
The XR is 1080p without HDR, 11 is 4K with smart HDR.
The 11 has wider lens with ability to chose between two focal lengths.
Also costs more... comparison based on similar pricing...
The audio on the panasonic was way better; how couldn’t you not notice that?
Of course when it comes to build-in audio quality,, any flagship smartphone would win easily.
Wow the focus breathing/hunting on the G100 at 8.40 ish was poor Look at the to the left and right of Chris’s face
Just got the G100 with the vlog stick for $600 on sale. I'm pretty happy with it :) Paying $750 for the G100? Nope.
idk why, but the shaky "STABILIZATION" tittle made me giggle, lol
7:19 always a good chuckle from that video
I'm kinda surprised they didn't use the iPhone 11 Pro since that has 4k60p on the front and back camera.
I might be dumb here, but to my eyes and ears the Panasonic G100 won almost everyone except the crop
Same here. But watch these guys other videos. Sony biased.
what's the 4k record limit on each of these?
Lol that Pana wobble in the back. So much character
Am i the only one who thinks that the iPhone audio sounds the worst of the bunch? Especially handheld, I prefer the sound of the Sony way more.
I fully agree...
iphone sound horrible, why would he said it the best? 🙄🙄🙄
Totally flummoxed me, too. Chris was banging on about how well it handled the wind noise and all I could hear in the background was...wind.
If I was vlogging and walking, I would be using a gimbal or selfie stick so the 4k crop from the g100 wouldn't matter.
Sorry, that iPhone's audio wasn't good. It might have been richer, but it sounds really weird and gritty and tunnel-y. It sounds like there's some block in the mid-highs missing, making it sound muffled. Not that the Sony or Panasonic were all that good, either.
How about iPhone SE 2020? 🤔
Is the 4k vídeo as sharp as the g9?
9:15 Is that mistake? It probably should be ZV-1 instead of G100.
Clearly you guys did not listen to the audio properly. Audio on the Sony and iPhone is way more tinny and quiet
Exactly what I thought Panasonic was the best by far. Then Chris talks about Panasonic from 2 months ago.WHAT?
@@richardgorski23 I think they just didn't like the camera from the offset.
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II is a killer value on the used market if you're into vlogging.
- Uncropped 4K, including Cinema 4K
- Dual card slots, including one UHS II
- The best IBIS in the business
- Phase-detect autofocus
- Headphone and mic jacks
- Fully articulating screen
- Weather sealed
Or, if you want a new camera, there's the OM-D E-M5 Mark III. You'll just miss out on the headphone jack and the dual card slots, but you will get 1080p at 120 fps if you're into slow motion.
Lo único que vi es que la G100 tiene más calidad que los otros. Usa un Gimbal con la G100 y resuelto el problema.
Were do you guys live.... everything looks so beautiful 😍
There's actually something VERY strange with the iPhone stabilization. Does not look smooth, and feels like some weird frame rate and flicker when you look at your face during that clip 10:35 .
man XR is like some antiques already, I guess a iPhone 12 is a more competetive rival for these 2 cameras
Wait wouldn't IPhone SE be a better choice than Xr?
If you use a smartphone as a web camera for live streaming, the video quality is much worse because there is no AI editing on the smartphone when streaming, right?
in iphone 12 era (dpreview shows off an IPHONE XR) seems at least you should use 11 instead althrough it is a old tech, but 11 has much more more better audio and video vs the XR
The idea is to compare solutions similar in price. If you add accessories to the G100 and ZV-1 for the price differential, they'll be even better.
Ildskalli however, a zv-1 costs a double of a XR
The XR was released exactly 2 years ago and is already considered old tech? Our planets future doesnt look bright 😢
Anton Hei world changes so fast its a sad news.
Whats not to like 8-)
What is a Apple 10r?
This is a Sony butt kiss video. Panasonic was better in EVERY WAY!!!
Why aren't the comments turned off for this video like they were for the Batis video?
Panasonic is looking much better than Sony !
I thought so also. Sound was better by a mile. Their Sony bias is beyond laughable. I guess those free trips they get.
