We need to get audio from a wireless mic into pc for zoom broadcasts of classes. The receiver of wireless mic has a 1/4” jack. Not sure if it’s stereo. Any advice for a cable / adapter to go from a 1/4” plug to usb to input audio?
@@kettnercreative I'm in a similar position. What connection would you suggest? I'm considering just junking the old and buying behringer 302usb ( I just do voice work, don't need many bells and whistles).
I went ahead and ordered one right after I watched this video and it arrived about an hour ago... Needless to say I plugged it in to my Behringer UB1832FX-pro immediately! It ended up working great for me, as long as the main mix out isn't too hot it sounds nice without the initial hiss that I had. By far my favorite feature is the fact that I have all of the available use of my effects and equalizers and all channels (if needed or desired) I have a Behringer XR18 which I love but sometimes it's nice to have that physical board in front of you with all of your knobs, switches, buttons and sliders at your disposal.
no you can't a USB microphone. You're microphone has has an A/D converter build in the microphone and which causes it to output a digital signal, and not an analog signal which the mixer can't use.
Is it possible to connect a USB microphone to a mixer?
Exactly what I was wishing to have clarified, thank you! 😀
What if its a 9 pin XLR cable ? is it hopeless ? Please help Kettner

When I connect my mixer to my pc with a XLR to USB It shows an audio device but i get no input at all, any idea why?
I have an analog Behringer non-USB mixer, My question is, can I use a USB to XLR cable to hook my mixer to a computer, camera or phone?
I've done it to my computer when I was in a pinch several times. I wouldn't say it's the best solution, but it does work.

What if you have an usb microphone can I use the usb to xlr cable to the external mixer?
Unfortunately not. A XLR to USB cable is different from a USB to XLR cable.
Is there a way you can connect a USB microphone to a mixer?

Naaaice!
