    When I first got into detailing I went all crazy buying a lot of CG products and then after really diving into the culture I felt kinda dumb for spending so much when there are so many better chemicals out there. It’s good to hear a honest review of their products. I liked some of their stuff like vrp and Mr pink and the glass cleaner was decent but they have way to many items and a lot of it is watered down. Hell I even bought one of their pressure washers……… still actually using it but with an upgraded hose and gun. Works decent but I’ll be upgrading to a kranzle soon.

    You have most of what I know in NC that made them famous around here. The snowfoams all smell amazing. VRP for the price people love it. Dallas' paint turned me on to the leather detailer and fragrance for interior. It's still cheap and smells amazing. Now, once they tried to get into polishes and ceramic and try and sell a $30 16oz bottle of anything ceramic at Walmart that when to me they lost their minds.
    But again, Ollie's for the win. When they did the Chemical guys buy out. All the 16oz snowfoams at $5 a bottle along with the rinsless 64oz bottle for $9.99 along with fabric guards for $5 and ect, I stocked up. Also tried some other of their products because for $5, it was worth a shot. I tried a bunch of the lineup. If you are curious, let me know as I tried so much of it all and can provide real-world feedback.

      @Ecdetails agree. The polishes and ceramic they offer are just to over priced. You can get gallons for same price but I am sure some people just buy it because it's there.

    • @TheBizcuit0426
      @TheBizcuit0426 7 місяців тому

      @Ecdetails now as for the fabric guard. They boast 1 year, and that is what I am seeing. I have used it on several convertible tops as well that went 1 year plus. Of course, it depends if it's a garage queen or not, but even 6 months for the price is great. Carpets I personally have tested on some kid tested vehicles and saw 1 year plus along with fabric couches as well. No smell and doesn't leave a film or change the feel of the fabric. Again, I scored it from Ollie's for around $4 something a bottle and bought 30 plus bottles.

    Amazing video. Hey Eddie, im trying to combine waterless washing and rinseless washing without pre rinsing to get most vehicles done except stuff like layers of dirt. Taking precaution, would this be possible without damaing? Im thinking of starting off with waterless with rinseless dampen towel to wipe off heavier stuff and finishing with rinseless sponge to clean off the surface similar to how you did it here. What are your thoughts?

    • @Ecdetails
      @Ecdetails  4 місяці тому

      My preferred method involves skipping the waterless wash and using a rinseless solution at a dilution of 256:1 in a pump sprayer, detail keg, etc. Apply the solution, let it sit for about a minute, then spray again and proceed with the rinseless wash.
      If you're considering a presoak, I recommend using an all-purpose cleaner (APC) to spray the entire car, rinse it off, then proceed with the rinseless wash and drying.
      When using a waterless wash, it's best to work section by section. However, waterless washes are designed for standalone use rather than being combined with rinseless solutions. For better results, consider using a prespray of APC or a rinseless wash instead.

    Appreciate the response. How often do you presoak and rinse off an APC. Im trying to save time and water. I just started detailing and it doesn't seem like I need to presoak for the most part. but I'm a little worried about marring the paint. I'm using DIY rinseless and legacy sponge with proper technique. It's smooth and gets good results but I am unsure if I am damaging the paint.Again, thank you.

    They have a handful of great stuff. I will honestly say I still use some of thier stuff. Other I have given away. One of my favorite tire dressings is Hyper Coat. I use it 1:1 or even up to 3:1. A "perfect" shine on wheels that last. I just used the gel acid remover and NO GO!!!! it took out some of the minor spots, but did not take away spotting. They just have WAY TOO MANY products, creating a ton of confusion. Their products are not crap, but there are for sure a FEW. Diablo being one of them.

    I used it years ago, it was okay. Reminded me of a highly concentrated detail spray (it does have wax in it). I found it left some marring on waxed/sealed paint (didn't have any coated vehicles at the time). I bet the coating is having a big effect here on how well it cleans and the lack of marring.
