You did a great job clearing up these stopped up drains. I see many people have urged you to wear gloves but I would take it a step further and say I wish you would use a rake so you wouldn't get stuck by a hypodermic needle someone used to shoot up some dangerous drug. I look forward to seeing you unblock other drains in the future so I am a new subscriber from Nashville.
During storms my Mom would put me in rain gear and send me to the street corner to sweep away the fallen leaves from the drain. Our basement would flood if the water came over the sidewalk. Must clear the sewer drain to save my toys. Massive satisfaction when the water would swirl away. I used a corn broom....never bare hands.
Thank you so much doing that big help for the motorists please be careful you don’t have any GLOVES 🧤 to protect from bacteria. Be safe at all time…..drive safe I’m not escaping ads just to help you little to say thank you .
I do say well done 👊😎you go above and beyond the call of duty. Helping other travellers be safe on their drive to their destinations. Also pls consider your own safety because you never know what floats down here lol. Some good gloves for your hands so you don’t get cut on a rusty grate or Needle stuck in the debris
Please use proper PPE, as you don't know what chemicals and bacteria are in that water and your hands may get harmed by the suction of the drain. The safest thing to do is to wear gloves, wellington boots and to use a tool such as a rake.
It's amazing what a bit of debris can do to a multi million $ drainage system, well done buddy,i take my hat off to you. I see NO one else pulling over to help. just please be careful!!.
Great channel. I also watch on UA-cam the channel Post 10. He is mainly out of the Northeast. He clears culverts on dirt roads. He has several beaver dam removals.
Thanks for the video But he should have had a council worker do that, there paid to do it,Plus he should have had protective gloves on, ANYTHING could be in that water or drain
I love doing this too but you need gloves and boots! I also ride a motorcycle and wear boots when doing so. Please protect yourself dear person. Your life is valuable.
Ein gutes Werk! Ohne viel reden einfach nur machen. (Mit Bio-Gefahr) A good work! Without talking a lot, just do it. (With organic danger) Where have you been all these long years, Merlin? 🤭👍 Greetings from the island of Rügen.
Well done for cleaning the drains, but I’m astounded that you’re out at night, in a lightening storm, no shoes, no gloves, who does that?? The possibility of you contacting something terrible is very high!!
Thanks for doing some good in the community! Definitely wear some gear especially gloves and boots! We need you around for many storms to come! Post 10 figured that all that leaf matter will re clog those drains. He pushes the debris in to the drains. Just passing along some info I hope will help.
Everyone is saying you should wear gloves (which you should), so I'll just say that you should wear good boots, too. You have no idea what you're stepping on in that filthy muddy water.
Good stuff! I definitely would have worn gloves and parked the motorcycle on the sidewalk though. 5 minutes of time to clear the gutters goes a long way for everyone else.
You need gloves on and wellies on your feet as you cannot see what’s underneath the water. Carnt you find someone else with the same as you to go around emptying the streets with you
Well done. Please wear gloves to protect your self against poisonous chemicals in the water. Stay safe.
And shoes
Looks like your city needs to clean the drains
Uncapped needles would of been my go to rather than chemicals.....never stick your hands where you can't see...
The water always goes over the gloves onto the skin.
Broken glass

I would use a pitch fork.
He's walking round barefoot ; that's the least of his problems
He is riding a motorbike, carrying anything other than gloves is unlikely.
He should be wearing gloves and wellies. ( I'm in England.) Also if that is lightening I saw, he shouldn't be stood in the water at all.
Let alone metal and glass - sorry, but he’s taking a risk OHS-wise 🤯
Yeah, please wear gloves! Society can not afford to lose such valueable guys like you ;)
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍
Good job sir. Just wear gloves to protect yourself.
okay 👌 thanks 😍😍😍
Possibly shoes would be good too lol
That is so awesome what you're doing for the earth. Please, please wear gloves to protect yourself. Please 😊
Wellington boots and a metal hook stick would be best. So much broken glass and infections around..
Very very well done. Another example of angels among us. Thank you.
I wish everyone was a good citizen like you 👍
😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
To Michael Dowd 8422. One million subs think so. Silicon Valley shower stipends on social niches.
Not everyone is but, you will find these people worldwide.
Good job. Shoes and gloves are important. You did a great thing.
you need a rake or something. scary to use your bare hands.
During storms my Mom would put me in rain gear and send me to the street corner to sweep away the fallen leaves from the drain. Our basement would flood if the water came over the sidewalk. Nice memories.
This random kindness to the community makes all the difference.
As always its the little things that make the biggest difference, well done
everyone is saying wear gloves ......
I SAY WEAR WELLIES ... 👢 or at least shoes. 😱
Thank you for the clearing. 🙂👍🇺🇸
Thank you so much doing that big help for the motorists please be careful you don’t have any GLOVES 🧤 to protect from bacteria. Be safe at all time…..drive safe I’m not escaping ads just to help you little to say thank you .
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I first thought about gloves, then I saw the bare feet too! Thanks for doing what you are doing!
Job well done. Watch out for traffic and stay safe.
Thanks🥹😍😍😍
You step on a piece of broken glass in your bare feet in that water and you'll hate life, my friend.
Well done, but you need to wear protective gloves my friend, who knows what's in that water.
Okay thanks.noted 🥰🥰🥰🥰

If that water had any deadly chemicals, unclogging that drain would be illegal.
You need to wear gloves and wellington boots, for safety
He’s not in Wellington.

To Shaun Walley, No, because the random helper is not partaking of the spoils on his one-million subscriber channel.
You have done a wonderful job, thankyou.
Wow what a great video with sounds of water and the crickets and then the lightning ❤️
you're person with big heart.
thank you
god bless you
Thanks 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Well done, but as other commentators have said, its not safe to do it bare foot bro. Yo have no idea what you might be stepping on in dirty water.
The truck just go threw a red light
Great channel. I also watch on UA-cam the channel Post 10. He is mainly out of the Northeast.
He clears culverts on dirt roads. He has several beaver dam removals.
I too watch Post 10s videos for the past few years.
Unsung heroes. Buen hecho.
Never underestimate people who're prepared to get their hands dirty.
And the millions of subs and Silicon Valley stipends they procure to cure people's ails.
agree use a small rake at least, thanks for this
Thanks for the video
But he should have had a council worker do that, there paid to do it,Plus he should have had protective gloves on, ANYTHING could be in that water or drain
Yes, really a minor blockage but interesting that they'd left a bin by the drain.
It's amazing how such a small amount of debris can cause a big problem and danger to vehicles.
Yes that right 🥰
Good job from you keeping the place nice & neat. I wonder is that yellow line is to prevent pedestrians to cross farther and fall down the slope
I will never understand what goes through the mind of somebody who chooses to throw the rubbish out of the window .
☺️☺️☺️
Probably nothing. Out of sight, out of mind.
great job, can u show more after video, whirlpool and water flowing into drain. 😊
Okay good idea 🥰🥰
Wow, streets are so clean and well lit
Good job, but as others say, look out for your own safety. Wear gloves, boots and a safety vest, and activate your hazard warning lights on your bike.
I love doing this too but you need gloves and boots! I also ride a motorcycle and wear boots when doing so. Please protect yourself dear person. Your life is valuable.
😍🥰🥰🥰🥰
You need decent gloves and bright clothing!
Dude! Great job. Wear gloves and shoes that protect you from needle injuries. Glass and metal are the least of what can harm you.
@@arrosconpollo1 thanks 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great job, but I would worry about needles.
Great job helping with the drains.
Looks like truckers like to run red lights there.....
Trash truck being driven by a trash driver.
Whoever designed the drains does understand civil engineering
Does not. Drains are too small.
Why are the drains so small there? It should be 3 times bigger? Great job cleaning!
Ahhhhh.... uncapped needles bro :-O
😨 ~ ⛈ you are surrounded by thunderstorms ⚠️, at least you are clearing these ill-designed curb drains
Great video post.Good vibes from the UK
🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏
Its worrying that you didn't wear gloves or use a stick. Who know whar coukd be lurking 😢 All the same, great job!!!🌟🌟
Thanks 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I would wear gloves . Before poking my hand in a sewer or use a garden hoe or rake
What a star. Protective gloves and boots next time!
🎉🎉🎉🎉 fantastic no words
Stop sticking your hands in that. Use a simple garden fork instead. post 10 will show you how it's done properly.
Thanks you 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for clearing but looks a little contrived very little debris to dam the drains.
Beautiful shots of the lightning in the background
Thank you very much!
Ein gutes Werk! Ohne viel reden einfach nur machen. (Mit Bio-Gefahr)
A good work! Without talking a lot, just do it. (With organic danger)
Where have you been all these long years, Merlin? 🤭👍
Greetings from the island of Rügen.
If I were you I would wear rubber boots. I would also use a rake to clear the debris. Imagine all the dog poop dissolved in the water.
Good job...!!
Even at night and it was still raining...
Yes of course
A neighbor lady cleared the drain across the street from me. I think she watches your videos.
Oh very good 🥰🥰🥰 happy to heard that🥰🥰
Was waiting for a hand to come up and grab yours 😂
Well done for cleaning the drains, but I’m astounded that you’re out at night, in a lightening storm, no shoes, no gloves, who does that??
The possibility of you contacting something terrible is very high!!
I know it not good for me but at that time I’m back from work so I saw like this just unclogged it first.thanks for your care🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏
Thank you bang. 🙏
Okay 👌
Might be easier and safer to use a garden rake. Who know whats in that water.
Why aren’t you using gloves? So many germs in that water, you could get cholera. Keep up the good work.
Noted thanks 😍😍😍😍
Did you record this with a tablet?
I used iPhone XS Max
At least there were no clowns in the drain. "BEEP, BEEP Ritchie."
lol, did you see the truck at the end? Traffic lanes, nor traffic signals apply.
Thanks for doing some good in the community! Definitely wear some gear especially gloves and boots! We need you around for many storms to come! Post 10 figured that all that leaf matter will re clog those drains. He pushes the debris in to the drains. Just passing along some info I hope will help.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great job, safety first always
Thanks 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love what you are doing, but why don't you have gloves on?
At that time I back from work
Good work!
As an engineer in a precast concrete plant that made storm drainage structures, this type is the worst. A small amount of debris will clog them.
How much force did the street have?
there are 2 drains
Everyone is saying you should wear gloves (which you should), so I'll just say that you should wear good boots, too. You have no idea what you're stepping on in that filthy muddy water.
Yes thanks you 😍😍😍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I guess they're worried people would steal the iron of bigger drains.
Good job!
This guy DEFINITELY doesn't have any problems with washing dishes...
How much does the city pay you to do their work for them ???
I never get paid from other people but I don’t stand watching the flood street at that time I’m back from work so I just unclogged it first
Great job. ❤
Wow! Better than the DPW!😊
🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for your service. Please use gloves, wear shoes and buy a rake
Thanks you 🥰🥰🥰
You should wear gloves doing that, and you should also wear a Hi-Vis jacket.
Note thanks 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Belo trabalho faltou as luvas de proteção.
I wonder what country this is filmed in - a country that has left hand drive.
Great job
Did that truck at the end go right thru the red light?
Never use your hands, ALWAYS use a rake!!
Which 'Record' did it break???
Did he just casually ran a red light while driving on the opposite side of the road @7:29 or am I mistaken?
Good stuff! I definitely would have worn gloves and parked the motorcycle on the sidewalk though. 5 minutes of time to clear the gutters goes a long way for everyone else.
Needs a voice-over, but fascinating
Where did this occur?
You need gloves on and wellies on your feet as you cannot see what’s underneath the water. Carnt you find someone else with the same as you to go around emptying the streets with you
Use a garden / bow rake to clear the drains !
Nobody else notice the truck run the red light at the end?
Whose record did he break?
Gloves and boots, you really should wear them, you don't know whats in the water.
Dude buy a rake!
Yes that right 🥰🥰
Nicely done👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🇨🇦😊
Forget gloves... Wear shoes!
Well noted 🥰🥰🥰
Wear gloves and shoes! What is wrong with you?
