I had a few of these because my parents couldn’t afford to buy me the more expensive big spaceships - had loads of fun with these! Thanks for uploading
I had a couple of those mini rigs. But all those other mini rigs... I never knew existed. Awesome. Had my little greedy arse not coveted the big ships, I could have had a fleet of those little really cool vee-hick-uls! Cheers, my nutty.
What a fantastic video Tez. I totally agree with your list and adding the troop transport was perfect. I was surprised the suction caps still stick after all these years.
"Taxiing your Star Wars figures from A(-Wing) to B(-Wing)." . . . And you just got yourself another subscriber. Great video! Thank you! I only ever had the CAP-2 as a kid (and it was a blast), but I definitely think they should bring the Mini-Rigs back, plus the One-Man Sand Skimmer. I know it was touted as Bossk's personal craft, but its odd shape and Captivator-2 designation always put me in mind of Slave-I and Boba Fett, more than anything -- like they intended it to be Fett's little scout craft, but then they threw in Bossk at the last minute, so more kids would buy him, or something. In the end, though, it's a cool little ship, and it's nice to see us green space reptiloids get some consideration for a change.
PDT-8 my first mini rig I had as a Christmas present . I had the AST-5 and endor ranger vehicle the CAP-2 and the vehicle maintenance energizer and tripod laser cannon I had most of them as a kid got them all now
This was great Tez! The mini rigs were a big part of my childhood, as the bigger vehicles weren’t that attainable. This has been a great walk down memory lane mate!
The ISP, MTV and Desert Sail Skiff are like the golf cart vehicles of the Star Wars universe. The INT looks to me like it could be the head for a large starship that can detach from the main body. And I agree with your #1. I think the CAP could easily be brought to life in one of the Disney+ shows: I imagine it as an exo-suit used for maintenance on starships in outerspace.
Great vid, Tez! Terrific photos 🤜🏽🎊🤛🏽 My favourite one is your last one (if we don't count the Imperial transport), the PDT-8. Always loved how this rig and the energizer gives some colour to the hangars. Also my PDT-8 was the official vehicle for 3PO and R2 when I played his own adventures 😅
@@TeZXSpectrum Enjoyed that Tez. Yeah Cap- 2 is the best one of the lot. The shuttle mini-rig even though I had it, and not the big Daddy ( until a long time later ). Never made a grand entrance with the Emperor. Be like the Queen turning up in a Robin Reliant.
I need that Endor Forrest Ranger. That's a cool looking mini rig for sure. I agree the CAP-2 should be high up on the list. Boosk was using that bad boy to mop up the stray rebels for Vader after the battle of hoth. That seems to be the story the box art tells. Great video!
Awesome Tez!!! Great choice for no1 , I always liked the MTV-7 simply because it felt like an all terrain chunky motorbike lol. Nicely finished off mate, now get back to ya Speccy lol
Interestingly the MTV-7 has been included in the new Lego Star Wars game, you have to take them out during the hoth battle. My number one is the AST-5. Love it.
Brilliant top ten Tez , never seen the endor thing looks really cool , I really need to get myself the CAP-2 at some point , great video Tez with some great tounge action also 😂😂😂👍👍
There is a very old documentary omn UA-cam about the making of ESB!! Plenty of bts shots of the exterior of gthe rebel base. I picked out TWO rebel vehicles in the background shots that were never seen in the movie or anywhere else. Pretty sure one was the mobile laser canon
A lot of collectors refer the Troop Transporter a mini rig where I don’t think so,some over look the Ewoks Glider and rock launcher which are I feel are mini rigs ,my favorite mini rig is the Endor green Rebel Ranger fighter ,been really kool to had seen it stand up against a speeder bike battle.
Lovely collection there. These new Star Wars films need more sticky pad tongue action. Imagine licking your ship and hitching a ride on a Star Destroyer!
Bloody good choice Dave. Those two probably have the most action features out of all the rigs. No chance of getting my spectrum soon. Barry and Trevor are hooked on it now😂😂😂
The Endor Ranger is very similar to what Grievous used in the ROTS , have to say I love the mini emperor shuttle though , some great choices dude , great video :)
Cheers Brian. You got a point about that ranger never noticed that before. Yeah the shuttle pod is a classic. Especially if you haven't got the Big daddy 🤜💥🤛
I'd also say that the Mandalorian Fang Fighter and Bo Katan's Gauntlet design (gyroscope rotating wings) could have been inspired by the Endor Ranger too.
I collect Lego Star Wars, among many others, and I would love TLG (The Lego Group) to make these as small, inexpensive construction sets. Thanks to the Lego minifigures' wacky non-Human bodily proportions, I think that they would possibly scale even better with most of these oddball vehicles than Human-like action figures. I wonder if Lucasfilm/Disney could truly allow TLG to produce these nowadays, since, I assume, Hasbro owns or co-owns copyrights to all these creations of Kenner's.
@@TeZXSpectrum I dig it, I thought I was not finding the video, after binge watching your videos I was on eBay probably 2hrs mini rig and play set shopping 😂
My parents must have been so grateful for these smaller toys. Now I know why I literally had every single one, even the super rare Endor skiff
0:22 Those graphics were amazing back in the day!
Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant! I loved this series! Informative and Highly Entertaining! Thank You, Tez! These have been all Aces! 🤩👍👍
I really appreciate that Stev0. You're an inspiration yourself. I try to make things fun. Barry and Trevor both say hi too🤜💥🤛
What else could be number 1! Always loved the CAP-2 when I was a kid and not juste because Bossk was on the box. lol
CAP-2 was always gonna be No1 Tim. Definitely the most bas ass out of all of them. 🤜💥🤛
I had a few of these because my parents couldn’t afford to buy me the more expensive big spaceships - had loads of fun with these! Thanks for uploading
God I missed these beautifully produced and shot vintage videos - top draw Tez mate👌Sail Skiff, ISP-6 & Int-4 are my top 3. Great vid 👏🏻
Me too Tony. Hopefully I will get back to making more soon. Good top 3 dude👍
I had a couple of those mini rigs. But all those other mini rigs... I never knew existed. Awesome. Had my little greedy arse not coveted the big ships, I could have had a fleet of those little really cool vee-hick-uls! Cheers, my nutty.
You can still pick them up on eBay and they are very cheap in price. Thanks for watching Sir🤜💥🤛
What a fantastic video Tez. I totally agree with your list and adding the troop transport was perfect. I was surprised the suction caps still stick after all these years.
Had to add the troop transport to make it a top 10. Must be all that licking that kept suction caps in working order. Cheers for watching Mike 🤜💥🤛

Cheers for the support sir. Need to get back to my vintage reviews soon. Plenty of toys still to go🤜💥🤛
Brilliant video Tez, that was alot of fun recalling those mini rigs as a kid.
Great choices for your top ten list!! 🤠
Thanks dude. It was fun making all my Rigs videos. You can't beat the CAP-2 👍
PDT-8 my first mini rig I had as a Christmas present . I had the AST-5 and endor ranger vehicle the CAP-2 and the vehicle maintenance energizer and tripod laser cannon I had most of them as a kid got them all now
It feels great to have the full set. Cheers for watching Brian 🤜💥🤛
Nice video, a part of the Star Wars toys that's rarely discussed; these are important!
Totally agree. Hasbro should start reissuing them. I would definitely buy CAP-2 👍👍👍
Enjoyed it Tez!!! Thanks for the Mini Showcase!!!
Cheers Pete. It only took me a year to conclude this series. 🤣🤣🤣
This was great Tez! The mini rigs were a big part of my childhood, as the bigger vehicles weren’t that attainable. This has been a great walk down memory lane mate!
Cheers man. I really enjoyed making all my rig videos. More vintage reviews coming soon🤜💥🤛
Great to see you back Tez, loved the run down... concerned that you showed us that tongue action though 🤦♂️🤣
Nice one Christian. I guess I love that mini rig too much.😋😋😋😋🤣👍
I had the MTV-7 and the Skiff....that I can remember. They are in nice condition. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers for watching Tezz. I'm always amazed that I kept most of my childhood collection in good condition 👍👍👍
I'd like to see some minirigs again. A Tie escape craft. Jawa droid recovery vehicle. Yoda escape pod. A small enclosed walker.
Would love to see some more myself 👍
Very entertaining & nicely done. It's difficult to pick 1. Thank you.
Yep it was quite tricky. Thanks for watching Sir 👍
Nice our Tez! I found your top 10 very
"Cap" tivating! 🤣🤣 Nice to have a Rowlands Reviews video to watch! Cheers!
Cheers our Shabby back on the vintage and nice Barry and Trevor are back in business 🤣👍

Yeah totally! The INT-4 always reminds me of a Scout walker head. The CAP-2 is definitely the best. Cheers for watching Sir 🤜💥🤛
I feel bad now for ranking it so low.😬 I guess it's like a Rebel Taxi cab. Cheers for watching 🤜💥🤛
I've still my original Cap-2 Tez, it's knackered and broken and was the first ship I ever got given even before the x wing!
Great vid! 👍🏼
It's definitely the best kev. Cheers for watching mate🤜💥🤛
Nice one for watching Ste. I hope the Emperor has breakdown cover for as part of his insurance 😂👍
Hilarious video and awesome ranking, Tez! 😂💫
Nice one for watching Jeff. Feels good to get back to some vintage videos 👍👍👍👍
Wow a great mixture of Barry white and heavy tongue action. Great video Tez .
Barry meets Barry White 😂😂😂

Thanks for watching Sir. I think out of all the mini rigs the CAP-2 had the best play features. A real winner 👍
Awesome Tez!!! Great choice for no1 , I always liked the MTV-7 simply because it felt like an all terrain chunky motorbike lol.
Nicely finished off mate, now get back to ya Speccy lol
Cheers Luke. It took me a while to finish the mini rig series off. I completely blame those spectrum streams. Good choice with the MTV-7 dude. 👍👍👍
Great video Tez! Love me some minirigs!
Ya god damn right. Cheers for watching Matt🤜💥🤛
Epic greatness as ever, Tez. Gently tonguing a mini-rig can result in muscle-strain though!
Cheers Eb. Dr said should keep my gob shut for at least a week 😂😂👍
Brilliant mate 👍 👍 👍 👍
You gotta love those mini rigs Will🤜💥🤛
I recently started adding these to my collection.i have all but 2 on this list, but I'm still hunting for those
Loose ones are reasonably cheap. Save up that pocket money 👍
Interestingly the MTV-7 has been included in the new Lego Star Wars game, you have to take them out during the hoth battle. My number one is the AST-5. Love it.
Mini rigs reborn. Gonna have to get that LEGO game. Cheers for watching Bryn👍
It also recently popped up in an episode of "Star Wars Visions," if I recall correctly.

Cheers Dave. You can't beat the CAP 2. Sorry for the licking bit😂😂😂
Love the mini rigs Tez.
Cheers Conor. I wish Hasbro would release some new ones. Nice one for watching Sir 🤜💥🤛
Awesome Tez, always loved the mini-rigs, quick question, who do you get to do the big booming voiceover?
Nice one Dez. You can't bash a good old Mini Rig. That Voice over was Trevor when he does his posh telephone voice 😂😂😂🤜💥🤛

Officially a mini rig is a vehicle that didn't appear in the movies but the lines are blurred a little 👍
Lovely collection there. These new Star Wars films need more sticky pad tongue action. Imagine licking your ship and hitching a ride on a Star Destroyer!
I think licking would definitely improve on these new Star Wars movies. Thanks for watching Snorkers 👍👍👍
@@TeZXSpectrum Always a pleasure!
I find myself rated a 5/10 of possession for hands on playing and 7/10 for knowledge of existing.
Cheers 🤜💥🤛
Tez, stop hogging your Spectrum and let the other two play 🤣 For me, the ISP-6 & Sail Skiff are great little vehicles 🤘 Nice one 👍

These would be great additions to the SW Lego line. Just the right scale too. 👍👍👍
Awesome vid tez
Cheers Bazz🤜💥🤛
Awesome!
Cheers fella 🤜💥🤛
I remember one called
The "Vader Raider" but I get the idea it was like a j.c. penny exclusive or maybe Sears.
Anyone know?
I bet that's a rare piece. We never got those catalogues in the UK. I'm going to have to look into this 👍👍👍
There is no Endor mini rig review in the playlist, am I missing it?
I don't have them to review plus they were not mini rigs they were called one man rigs if I remember correctly 👍
@@TeZXSpectrum I dig it, I thought I was not finding the video, after binge watching your videos I was on eBay probably 2hrs mini rig and play set shopping 😂

@@TeZXSpectrum 😂 😂 I’ve heard that about you and your Mates! 😂 😂
😆😆😆
haha love this
Cheers for watching Seb. Subbed to you today dude👍
Why don't you count the speeder bike as a mini-rig?
It's not a mini rig. Mini rigs are vehicles that didn't appear on screen👍
This is awesomely done😂🫡🤌🫰👌🖕🫵🫵
Thank you Sir 🙏🙏🙏
