    How do you know the tensions? For example you automatically knew the tension needed for metallic thread. Is there a chart for this info? I have a Bernina 770QE

    Hi Jeff, wonderful, informative video. Can you please do a video on actually doing an embroidery? I have the 570qe and I am coming from a brother embroidery machine. I wonder if you can tell what area is stitching next, on the screen, and if my thread breaks....how do I ‘bump’ back a few stitches to overlap a bit before the break? I have searched my manual and can’t find it. Thank you so much and keep the videos coming. 😊

    Thank you so much for the video. I called and spoke with Trista the other day to order some stuff, she mentioned that you were going to try and do some embroidery videos, we need them !!!!. I am still confused about the pulling of the thread when i begin the design or a color, should I hold the thread or what? If I let it go down the machine, it makes a mess. I do use FInishing Touch from my previous machines, so that works like a gem in the Bernina. Could you do a segment on trying to save designs to the machine from the USB stick, I get so confused, it for some reason will not work for me.

    • @berninajeff
      @berninajeff  4 роки тому +1

      Some will hold on to the upper thread when it starts, I do not unless I am doing a quilt an want it to look good on the back side. If you pull too tight the bobbin thread will come up for a stitch or two and then it looks bad on top. So hold with a little slack and set your machine to stop after a few stitches so you can trim that top thread tail. A video on saving from the machine to a USB is a great idea thanks.

    My new 790 plus seems to really not like Floriani. Every time I use it, the tension goes out of whack and it breaks both the threat and the needle. I tried to use the threat sleeve and although the tension looks fine, the same problem still happens. Isacord works perfect. Has anyone experienced this before?

      Tula Pink owners, to calibrate the embroidery hoop is just the same as all models, go into the Settings or gear icon select the Hoop icon and from that menu select the Hoop icon again and follow the prompts. If your needle is not ALL the way up the arrows will not work so make sure the needle position is up.
