Thanks Jeff, I have never seen the 8 and 2 method for the bobbin. I have a B 790 Plus and I am going to order your supplemental needle threader from your shop. I have been happy with everything I have ordered from you. I am 1 hour away from my closest Bernina shop. You are a god/send to us Thank you!
After having my Bernina 710 for years and years, you finally showed me how to put the Bernina 9 hook back in the machine! I literally spent hours trying to get that back together. It’s NO WHERE in the manual. You have saved me hours of precious sewing time. THANKS! 😊
Hi there!! My dealer is also 2 plus hours away. Thanks so much for this video!!! I oiled my machine daily the long way, and, I used to hate it. As of today , it’s your way !! And I will love my machine again , 👍
Amazing tip! I had a terrible experience trying to reassemble my hook once - tilted my machine to see better and dog gone if I didn’t drop my machine off the table. Thank goodness there was no real damage - after the service techs had her for over a week - but I was sick and hubby was pretty upset with me.
I have a wonderful local dealer however it’s been years since my introductory lesson on oiling and such. I’m delighted to find you and I will watch all your videos- even if repeated reminders. Many thanks!
You always have the BEST Videos! So clear & easy to follow. Yes, I am one of those Bernina owners who live in a rural area & have a 2 hour one way drive to the nearest dealer--so I really appreciate your videos. THANKS!
After fighting my b790 for years and my dealer making me feel crazy. Im so glad you addressed situations I've been dealing with.....thank you Ive attached my 7 serious thread guide this morning. Working great!!
Thank you so much. I purchased the 570 qe 2 days ago. I was worried about oiling the hook. I followed your every step and it all went like a dream. I've ordered the screwkeydoo. Nobody has heard of it in the UK! Have just subscribed. Lin
Thank you Jeff. You always make things seem so simple. I also have struggled both re-installing the hook . Why Bernini’s doesn’t put these tips in the book for each machine? Jeff just keep recording !
Thank you Jeff! It was so nice meeting you! I received my Sew Sturdy!! I LOVE IT!! I go to your videos all the time! Thank you very much for all you do! Your the best!!
Wow! Why did it take me sewwww long to find your tutorials? I love how you explained how to do something, showed how, and then showed why! I don't have a 7 series, but it was interesting to learn about it. I do have a question. I have the 880plus. Do I need to be oiling from the top, under the needle plate as well? Hope that made sense. I'm about to scout out your videos. Again, thank you!
I watched your UA-cam on oiling mine is B740 Question My manual mentioned to fil the oil depot with 1 drop of oil. I saw a little hole red around top. Is that the correct one. Or when I oil the hook etc as you did, maybe I don't need to put an oil drop there? I hope I see your comment if you make one. I'm from Nebraska Very small and remote area. Thank You enjoyed the you tube.
Learnt so much from this video. May have to purchase some great stuff from your website as can't find them in Australia. Many thanks Jeff for all your informative videos.
I have tested removing them and there is no damage, just don't use a sharp tool to pry them off and scratch the plastic, my Vera tool or pot scraper works great.
hey, do you have a plan to sell extension tables on your shopify store? And would you know a price range of what to expect for one? (B590 and B580 in particular). Thanks, and love the videos!
Does the foot holder on the front of the machine hold the big feet? The ones with the eyeball. I learned the hook trick from you in an earlier video and it is wonderful. I have no trouble at all closing that thing now. It was practically impossible before.
My 780 was opened incorrectly and now does not function in all areas, I've been told it costs 4k to repair. I have had a 200e, 630, 730 and now the 780. I'm discouraged. Should I invest the money or buy again with the trade-in? Many thanks, I, too am many miles from a dealer. Thanks for being in my computer. SueP
I just bought that rack from you but I must not have gotten the better double stick tape because the rack keeps falling off the machine and I only have 2 feet on them…I bought 2, one for my 770 and one for my 880! What double stick tape should I go buy?
We can send you some or get the foam kind with the red backing it holds very well it is handy to have around anyway, 3M brand I get it at True Value or Walmart. Jeff
Thanks for your video! I really like your red tip oiling bottle and multiple foot holder but can’t find anything similar here. What is your shipping charge to Ontario, Canada? Thanks you.

@@berninajeffI was wondering the same thing. I love my 820 and after seeing your video and your reply I am disappointed that I can’t oil it like you demonstrated. In fact nobody mentions the 820 much. (I’m from Brisbane Australia). I do like your foot holder ~ I’ll look in my Bernina shop when next I’m there.

Hi! I like the idea of the presser feet holder but will it come off without damaging the machine if necessary?
I have tested removing them and there is no damage, just don't use a sharp tool to pry them off and scratch the plastic, my Vera tool or pot scraper works great.
I have bought your gadgets can’t wait to get them.
has Bernina added more areas to oil since this video? thanks
Hello Jeff, I have a Bernette 440. I wonder if you could let me know how to clean it. It is a jewel wish I like it a lot.
Very happy I found your channel. Sew much good information ❤
I have a 750 QE, I want to know if my machine can just cut the thread or does it have to knot the thread first each time I use the thread cutter?
I put a drop of oil with a red spot under the plate by mistake I haven’t tried to sew as not sure if I have done any damage Please advise

You can get both sizes of racks 5mm or 9mm just eyeball them where ever you like.
