I can’t thank you enough, or say enough good about you, Jeff. I’ve had my 590 2 yrs. The training I got locally from place I purchased the machine was a joke. I never think of going to them because I’ve decided they are too lazy to be a trusted resource. I came to you because I’m having a problem with birds nests, probably because I didnt use any stabilizer at all for this dish towel.
Thank you for your video tutorial. I have been sewing for 51 years, but never embroidered. I find it very intimidating. I just purchased a Brother Luminaire Xp2 and hoping I can start learning to do embroidery. I am very happy to find your video. Please continue sharing your knowledge.
It's amazing to me how many times I have to watch something in order to understand and be able to follow through on the embroidery. I have the 790 Plus that I bought after Christmas last year and the guide classes had to be delayed. Your tutorials are a great help. Thanks
You have been most helpful in teaching how to use my 770qe embroidery machine. I cant make my machine stitch. I followed your hooping instructions and have my name in the machine ready to go. but when I press the Green button i get a picture of foot 26 and under it is a picture of the 1 hole stitch setting. I have tried using all the others but still wont stitch. Help! what am i doing wrong. Corrine Jablonsky
@@berninajeff oh good to know, thanks for your quick reply. Any idea why the thread from my newly opened spool of cross wound 50wt thread , on machines horizontal thread holder, would flap around widely when sewing,? I have never seen that before, it usually comes off very evenly 😀
You have just mentioned Frixon pens, I used one on a baltimore quilt made for a brother who lives in genevoa because we hadn’t been told the markings would rtn. Totally made by hand and now to scared to send it to him in such a cold environment, what are your thoughts does it come back as it was initially or look different
Omg I been looking online for that table top cutting board with measurements......Great view of what I’m speaking about from 18:57 to18:59 Do you sell them?
How do you embroider a man robe? since all your videos are on piece of fabric not a complete robe, how do you place it on the hoop/loop to do logo/names embroidery. l have a 790 Bernina.
Thank you Jeff for this Embroidery basics. It is so helpful. I’ll be watching for more in the future. I would like to purchase the gold bobbin for my B790. What is your phone # to call and order? Thank You 😊
May I ask what. you are looking for ? The left to right constant is really distracting it looks as though you are looking for something you’ve laced down some where and and the mask when you’re talking to a camera? That’s a little disturbing. It distorts you’re sound. Sorry but can you try concentrating on the people you’re talking to
I wish I lived closer so I could take your class. I need to see

Oh! We must have bought our machines at the same place. I feel bad for future buyers.
Bernina Jeff is awesome! I love his videos. I learn so much!
Great instructional video. That tip about the wonder clip to hold the thread in place on the Bernina is invaluable.
I Just figured it out. I needed to tell the machine what foot I was using. When I clicked 26 foot. worked correctly. Thank you

This video is so informative. You are extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for sharing.
I know, I needed a GoPro camera to show what I was doing, did not know the students would need so much help I will do a better one later.
My superhero Bernina friend. Thank you...this is so timely for me.

Excellent lesson. Thank you so much for sharing.
Enjoyed class and learned a lot. Thanks
Very informative! Thank you very much!
Will you be showing any videos on the Bernina 880+?
I wished you would show how you put the name on the shirt.
Would be helpful to see the embroidery machines and what buttons/icons you are pushing...like the virtual positioning icon
I really need to see what you are explaining

Masks are required in my shop and I am recording while teaching a class. COVID 19 in 2021
Thanks for this video. I have'a Bernina Deco 340. I have had it for years. It is like new, because I just don't use it. Intimidation I guess.
You mentioned to oil from the top down. Exactly where do you start from the top?
Thank you!
Hi Maribel, I have a specific oiling video. You remove the stitch plate and oil the shiny hook tip every time you start a sewing day.
Would I need to use the wonder clip idea on my Bernina 590 Jeff? Thanks for the video 😀
The 5 series does not usually need the clip and it will not fit

I wish we could see what is going on at the machines.
Are you doing the upper thread or the bobbin. Thread for the back to look good on the back. My back looks as good on the front. Which tension do I use
Hi you told me to set the upper tension on my baby lock How do you do that?
You go into the pages of settings, find one on embroidery upper tension set it to a -2 Watch Babylock Doug on youtube
Do you work or have any information on Eversewn?
Eversewn machines are sold by Brewer Sewing Supply which is owned by Bernina they are fine machines but they are not Bernina's.
Upper or lower tension
Adjust the upper tension

I generally love your videos but this is all commentary, I want to see what is happening
Camera not adjusted. Can't see what you're doing.

Lower the camera
All we see are heads, no machine
