I feel like I'm the odd man out here in thinking that a pastel palette that has deepening shades would then make it no longer a "pastel palette". I feel like no matter how small someone's collection is everyone has a deep shade in another palette that they can pull from that can be used to deepen up the look you created with the pastel palette. If I'm buying a pastel specific palette I'd rather get more pastel shades and reach into another palette than a pastel palette that is in actuality only HALF a pastel palette bc it has deeper shades to make it more well-rounded. Hope that makes sense!
I agree it's not a pastel palette unless most or all shades are pastel. We all have deepening shades in other palettes. Mine comes Tues I'm so excited 😆

There is just something about Pastels that make me feel pretty. I get the want for extra sparkle, but I have other palettes that I can use to add that if the occasion calls for it. For me this palette is more day/work friendly but super fun. Combined with the circo loco palette, I now have all the bright colours I could ever need :)

I was waiting for this palette for a month and a half when it was first leaked. I ordered it online at Sephora two weeks ago but the order was cancelled. Since then I was waiting for it to be available again, today I ordered it again. Can’t wait to try it finally! Natasha is a genius! I love this color story, beautiful for spring.

Blue-green look looks so fresh with your eye color and skin-tone. Makes your eyes to sparkle
The love this palette. Sure its light but its so pretty to me!! Also if you guys who are darker skinned I recommend to use a white base or a base that is the same color of your main lid color with this palette. It will help the light colors pop up on your skintone alot more better.

I ordered this palette the first day it came to Sephora with my $100 gift reward. I'm excited to get it and try some pastel spring/summer looks. I love pastel colors. When I use a white eye shadow primer the color looks lighter for some reason not more intense. I really like both of the eye looks you did, nice review!
I’m not a colorful eye shadow person so I’m loving that they are more subdued. I’m getting it so I can use it to branch out with more one and done or monochromatic eyes for spring!

I love pastels in general, but I don’t tend to like them in makeup just because I feel like they look bad on me, but I bought this. I couldn’t resist. It is SO pretty. Mine just got shipped today so obviously I haven’t tried it yet, but this gives me hope I can make this work for me. I am extremely pale (I almost always buy the lightest foundation shades available if you’re wondering just how pale) with very dark, almost black eyes. Pastels tend to disappear into my lily white skin and just don’t do anything to flatter my dark eyes. I used to love the Kat Von D (now called KVD) “Pastel Goth” palette from like 6 years ago, but it was totally matte and I used mostly the same combo of shades to create the same look. In other words I took no risks. This palette makes me want to take some risks. I’m very excited! I hope I don’t regret this and that the quality will help these colors actually show up and look nice around my eyes.

I'm so excited for this. Mine is on the way. LOVE NDs cream to powder pastels.
I do think the previous cream to powder pastels worked well on deeper skin tones so I'm hoping this is the case with this one.
A similar color to zest that shows up right when you apply it was the urban decay electric palette shade called thrash. It’s been discontinued for years but idk if you still have it.
I still use it even though it’s turning 8 years old this year.
Very pretty spring look
It's a lovely palette for spring and summer I don't want a heavy eye during spring and summer and it will go with a lot of summer clothes I could use this palette every day during the summer months but would never use it during winter.
I have been waiting as well to order as soon as came out! It is my first MIDI Palette from ND but this tones really got me, so decided to go for it!! Cannot wait to arrive!! I am not very colourful user either but really liked the colour story on this one!

Thanks for the review. I have a warm olive skin tone. Pastels can be tricky on me. I picked up the Triochrome on sale during Black Friday. I like it. It has more depth. BH Cosmetics Lost in Los Angeles actually shows up on me right now. It is a pretty Spring palette. It reminds me of this one.

Love your review. I am excited for the pastels because I don't really have anything like it. I feel like they're very good for having a little bit of color for work and a pretty spring/summer look. I am not sure if the duo's are all that but we will see. Even so, I'm excited for it and glad it's a midi.

This is really a fresh spring collection and I am definitely picking this one up! I remember the Huda Beauty Pastel obsessions (was it last year or 2020?) and they somehow didnt convince me. But ND did :)

Recently got the BH Lost in LA palette, which is a pastel palette. The shadows are so impactful and performed so impressively I'm kinda turned off by all these "wash of colour" pastel palettes.
Definitely want tutorials with this palette, so I can follow along with the BH palette 😛

I'm one of the few who really loves trichrome, and I'm definitely excited to pair some of those unique matte shades with the shimmers in this new palette

I agreed with you, something that really catches my eyes was the monochromatic palette and the circo loco I went straight to Natasha Denona website comparing palettes and I didn’t buy them because for me they were super colorful and I couldn’t find the matching point so for me this pastel palette complement the last colorful palettes and you can create beautiful looks so I bought the last 2 palettes and I bought in beautylish my pastel palette and to be honest I always uses 2 palettes to complete my look I don’t feel comfortable I am in need of a pop of color to bright my dark brown eyes it’s not easy but I don’t think that it is impossible so I don’t care to collect all of them I really notice the difference between high end brands and comparing it with affordable brands the most interesting it’s the blending process I have a lot of affordable products and love them but for special ocasiones being in a hurry you grab the palette that it will take less time to finish your makeup and when I have time I play with affordable makeup and I love them so it’s not discrimination off brands but the reality is that you pay for what you get 🤷🏻♀️ lately essences is having wonderful makeup products, elf cosmetics 👍🏻 I am getting into colourpop great pigmentation but luxury brands has hits and misses and believe me you lost more than buying affordable products and good quality and of course I am going to vote for you hopefully you can get your 💯 k soon I am excited for you 👍🏻👋🏻🙏😷
Wondering if those pastels will be seen behind glasses…wearing ones everyday and most shades kind of get lost, thats why I usually use strong colours on my eyes even to work

We need to ask ourselves how many pastel shades we need. I've already got a few scattered between palettes but when I want to lift the look of a matte, I just add some white pearl subtle shimmer from my YSL Palette which transforms the mattes completely making them much more wearable. As for the white to pink duochrome, I have two already from YSL and Oden's Eye. It's a no from me despite being pretty.💖
I did want this. Someone I follow but don't really care for posted a review of this today and it looks like they say it's a pass but I didn't feel like watching it so I would rather take your opinion. I'd wear all 15 shades. That's how I figure out if I need a palette. I have to love and be excited about 75% of the shades. From lucky bag I wanted the ND Trichrome but many said its not exciting if you own Terra moon's or Cliona (not sure on the spelling). I love that you did 2 looks. I was thinking about doing that today for fun.

Great review as always, love the eye looks you created. I am not a huge pastel palette lover 😆 but from time to time it’s nice 😊 mine came in today 🤗 Mitsuko Blaise (who I just discovered) reviewed this palette and it looks beautiful on her, she has a darker complexion.
I get it with the blues seeming to be not flattering lol but I love those colors especially the cornflower blue!! They are different tho and maybe just take some time to get used to. I've never been able to wear blue eyeshadow but these colors seem more wearable than other blues. Idk they are beautiful colors!!

Wish they were more pigmented, hoped Netasha would be able to do it. I’m not one to use a bunch of colors, maybe 1-2 and could have used this palette in my collection. Hope some indie brands can do it!
