Playing devil’s advocate here: to do the theme justice the layout should defeat any logic and be as chaotic as a crazy circus with all these vibrant colours completely jumbled up.
On her website it mentions 2 CP shades, the one you said and she's calling the light blue shade a cream powder too. I wouldn't mind if she did a whole palette cp, I know most people don't love them but they're my favorite. NO fallout, and I put them on with my fingers alot and they work really good like that. This looks good to me, thanks for the review!!! :)
I’m considering getting that one. I have the bronze and glam palettes so have warm and cool neutral covered, and much as I love those I also love a pop of colour. I think this would pair really well with them as well as by itself! I adore colour. I can see those complimentary colours working fabulously together xx
I think she did an Ig story about the color placement, and according to her she’s giving everyone rows that she think would work together. I just think it’s probably not for beginners. I kind of like it tbh, I get bored with the monochromatic stuff all the time.
I can see each row working nicely together except for the oranges.. they're so out of place imo. Pinks, blues and purples together are stunning but adding orange to that mix is a total turn off for me
@Erab that makes sense. I know I’ve heard her say she creates her palettes so that people can use the shadows in rows, columns, and quads to create complementary looks.

Dunno i feel like the color placement does make sense if you look at it in quads. I feel like cuz makeup companies have been making monochromatic palettes or palettes that gradiate from light to dark often paired together in similar color families is why everyone is so thrown off by the placements.
In the past palettes yes but I read your comment and looked again, the quads do not even make sense. Orange with purple, or pink with turquoise. Top left orange, blue, purple and gold. So much chaos haha
@@tasrahman4835 the contrasting colors compliment eachother. It's beautiful. Not for everyone though. You don't need to stick with all purples for a look or all blues.
It’s on its way! There are very few ND palettes I don’t own,I’m obsessed with the formula! And a full colourful one?? It’s worth coming out of my comfort zone!

That is a really pretty look! This is exactly my kind of palette, because I feel the opposite way about neutrals lol! I actually don't see the point in paying for and putting skin shades on my skin, I just don't wear makeup if I wanna go neutral because I love my face as is :) I'm actually going to wait on a sale from the ND website, and try to get this for under a hundred. I just got mine. It's so beautiful and the quality is the best among ND's palettes I own (Metropolis and Triochrome). As a color lover, I'm so happy that Natasha came up with something like that. I do wish it was a midi though, because I don't need that much of a product
I like the colour story of the palette, I may not need it but still. I also knew the second I saw it that the layout is going to turn people off more than the colours themselves. Agreed, that it would be more palettable in the $65 range too.

Natasha explained before that you can go by column (3 colors) to do a look, a quad be it top 4 or bottom 4 or middle 4, you can do a look with the 4. So if u break it down that way it is so inspiring and fun. Juz pick a quad or a column and challenge yourself.
I've said it once and I'll say it again - the color story in here looks a lot like the color story in the Violet Voss - Sea you later palette. They also have a great formula and it has more shades which I thunk complement the color story. Obviously it's no Denona, but their shadows are still really great quality and highly pigmented.
Morgan, I always love when you do purple eye look! This palette story is so different I think you love it or hate it. I’m not sure if I will get or not but you always can pull off any of the shades and make it work!! 😊❤️

I have easily bought it if it has been in the smaller amount pan (like the Love pallet), but due to the price it is turning into a investment and not just a expensive bought in my very limited make-up budget! So so sad, really love the colours and they are so useful!! Perfect complement to rest of my colours, they filling a gap I have! Hope she will come with more similarly colours but smaller pans!

What a great look, first review I have seen on the palette that I trust the creators opinion. I was going to pass on this palette but the look makes me want it. Will have to excert some self control, will not rush to get it, but will at some point.
Natasha always places her shadow colors to make it easier for everyone to use. Each horizontal row can be a look. Diagonal rows a look. Groups of four squares are looks. Or you can be brave and create your own color look. This palette is a happy color story. The look you ended up with is beautiful and wearable. Sure we would all like the palette to be $65 not $129. Lots of color and beautifully formulated product in this one. I love that Natasha changes it up with every release. I also love Pat McGrath, even more money. But how many gold colors can one person use!!
She organized all her palette in a way that every row, quad and diagonal is a look. Her palette are actually very easy to use because of that layout.

My brain is scratching at the walls wanting to fix that layout 😂 I thought it was HIDEOUS at first but when put in order... it's actually quite pretty
The colors are pretty but the layout definitely doesn’t do it justice lol!
Just pull them out and put them back in the order you want. She makes her palettes so you can rearrange them for that same reason. :)
Maybe Natasha should allow someone else to do the layout?

You were right with blue/orange being complimentary, red/green and purple/yellow are the other combos. These are tough jewel tones but I do love them.

I heard it was set up so you could use two on top and two on bottom of each other as quads. I've been using it that way, and I like the looks.

For this layout the colors don’t seem as cohesive as they normally do in that format
