The best Mother's Day gift I got for my mom was a custom made blanket from Shutterfly that had pictures of her mother on it. My grandmother had passed a year or two before that and I knew my mom missed her. She was so emotional and I was like I know you miss her so here is something that will make you feel like she's close and giving you a hug every once in a while when you need her. She keeps it on the living room couch on display year round. My proudest gift so far.

Kristina Fortado do you understand how making clothing works? It’s not as simple as smaller= cheaper.... if you want good quality you pay more if you don’t feel the quality aligns with the price then don’t pay it’s that simple

@@princesskittyXx Yeah, they use more fabric, but really, the quality isn't any better than the cheaper fashion shops. Sometimes there is a gem, but mostly, it's all crap.

When we lived in Ottawa my Mom loved to go over the border to shop at the outlet mall, which had a Lane Bryant. She knew how to shop for killer bargains. She was a teacher, and had to look her best at all times, because she was also large. And we all know that larger folks have to fight a lot of nasty stigma and gossip. She also liked to haul my Dad off on cruises, and she made sure that she looked like a million bucks when she was on those trips, so she would blend in with the rich ladies. When you know how to shop for things up to 75% off, and buy the right size for your figure, no one needs to know that you didn't pay full price.
She didn't just buy anything on sale. The item had to fit her properly, it had to have a place in her wardrobe, the colour had to look good...
My mother has been gone over twenty years, and I still remember that for her, bargain shopping was like a major military operation. And the Lane Bryant outlet was a favorite battle field.
The best mothers day gift I ever gave was a letter. I wrote my mom a really heartfelt letter about what I learned from her and the best things about her. Anything heartfelt i thought i wrote down. I did the same for my dad on Father's Day too. They both tell me it's the best gift they ever received and they kept then and reread them every so often.
I used to be an avid Lane Bryant shopper but they're just too expensive for me. I've been getting some great deals at Torrid. Can you do a Torrid haul soon? I love your videos!

The best Mother’s Day gift I have received was a cigar box that my son painted one of my favorite colors, purple, & decorated with yellow & white flowers. He was about 7. That was over 15 years ago but it still holds some of my jewelry. I think the best reaction that I got from my mama on Mother’s Day was a Mother’s ring. She still absolutely loves it. She cried a little bc it has her birthstone & our birthstones surround hers. This year I had a t-shirts made that is so pretty. Her children’s names are over the word MOM and the names are in a heartbeat style. Then, the year she became a mother is also included (ex... Est. 1969.). Plus she will be receiving one of the best gifts to her, MONEY. lol. 🌹🌷🌸💐🌻 Happy Mother’s Day all you beautiful SUPERWOMEN!!!!!!!

Best mothers day gift (sorry I'm late, tips for next year or b-day, X-mas whatever... You get it) I made my mom a scrapbook that started with pics of my oldest brother (her first child) and went in chronological order (about 30 pgs) all the way through her grandkids. She legit cried the most beautiful tears of joy. NOTHING beats a handmade gift.

The best gift that I gave my mum was a professional family photo shoot thing. It was something that she had always wanted. My sister and I paid for it and got the biggest print a really nice frame. I’d love to do it again now that she is a grandparent.

Hey Sarah, great video, as usual...all these dresses are pretty, but my fave would have to be the last one, its got an ethereal quality about it, it's fluttery and flattering, it kinda reminds me of Mia Farrow in the original Great Gatsby...all it needs is a big picture hat to finish off the outfit...very pretty!
Best Mother's Day gift I ever received was from my now 36 year old, when he was about 6 or 7, it was a handmade booklet of "Vouchers For Hugs". It was the cutest thing ever, if I needed a hug, I just had to give him a voucher. He made it all by himself, no help from his Nanna or Uncles. He was a gifted child (not so much now...lol), but I love him and his siblings to death. He is a parent himself now, to 1 teenage daughter, 5 very loud boys, and step-dad to girl and boys from his wife's first relationship, it's a very busy household at times! But I wouldn't swap it for quids!!

Personally, I struggle feeling comfortable in a dress. Because of my plus size figure, short height, and child like facial features I feel like nothing works for me. Everything makes me look to old, too young, or too fat. Anyone struggle with the same problems?

I loved all the dresses. Not a romper fan... the second dress the blue and white was my fave. The best gift I gave my mom was a mother's ring with all 5 kids birthstones. My favorite mother's day gift from my old man was a bracelet that had charms for the kids birthstones. I love the fact you named your arm big Bertha I refer to my largest area as thunder thighs.. but small belly kind of round but man my thighs even at my smallest were still big...lol love it all !!

This year I’m going to give my mom a scrap book of pictures of her grandson. This is a perfect gift for her because she lives a state away and she always complains about not having enough pictures, or not seeing him enough. She’s also not a technology person either so she prefers physical pictures rather than digital copies.

My mom has always been a HUGE Justin Timberlake fan. Last year for mother's day, I got her tickets for his concert. She was so ecstatic because this was when his new album came out. He was touring again & she didn't know he was touring again at the time, so she was actually shocked.
No clue how to top that. She's always wanted to go to Australia or Hawaii but I'm not at that point yet to be able to do that. 😔

I got my mom a necklace from Etsy with her mother’s handwriting it says love. It’s simple, dainty, personal. Grandma had passed shortly before so I think that’s why it was special.
But, I got my mom a new tv this year. She hasn’t bought a new one in over a decade! Hope she likes it. My hubby will mount it on the wall. 😃

My mom is really cheap and hates spending money on herself. For years she’s said that never has anything to wear. It was for her birthday, but me my dad and my brother gave her a shopping spree. I took her to lunch and then we went to the mall and she had about $500-$600 to spend on herself and her confidence afterwards once she got her new clothes was AMAZING. If you can afford it, (anyone) it is a great gift idea for that type of stuff

My all-time best Mother's Day gift I gave my mother was organizing a family photo with all my siblings and their kids. The last "family photo" she had of us was when I was 9 and we were wearing matching red turtlenecks and quintessential 90's hairstyles LOL

I love how everything u put on flatters you I Can't shop for myself it feels so over welming I tend to shop for others and I wear only what I have I get emotional when something doesn't fit and it makes me break into tears because I let myself think that I can't go up a size so I just don't buy any :( it's so sad because I wish I had the courage just to grab a bigger size try it on and feel good in it but the size in the clothing messes with me mentally I enjoy watching clothes ideas that I could wear keep up the good work hopefully one day I'll learn to love my body just the way it is 😊
