Love foggy from his early days followed his career till he retired was at donigton park when he won his last championship any ng bloke and ultimate rider well done foggy for giving me a great time watching u race was never boring :)))))
I just listened to Carl on the Isle of Man TT podcast a second time. Great episode. He said this lap was awful. They had installed stiffer forks and the bike was handling terribly. He was even thinking of turning around at quarterbridge and aborting the lap. Since they had mounted the camera for this lap he kept going and finished. He said it should have been way quicker. Racing legend.
Every rider pulls on the handle bars at that section and guess what they always have but obviously you know better because you've rode it how many times exactly?
Being from the same town has this bike legend, you just have to take your hat off to this guy, The speeds he goes at on this famous old circuit, basically, he makes it sound bloody easy, But I know it is for him, But for me, that's cloud cuckoo land . Bravery is not the word.
@Szabo Emanuel-Andrei .1 That record where youre talking about was taken on a Yamaha 750, not a Ducati. 2 Jim Moody beated his time in 99 on a Honda RC45 from a standing start instead off a rolling one.....
Yes, that’s a legendary race with two of the best riders of all time. Foggy really squeezed that Yamaha to the maximum, but Hislop was a league of his own on that day on the ‘impossible’ Norton.
It sounds like a twin because it has a 360 degree crank, effectively it's a twin as both front cylinders fire at the same time then the rear at the same time. Torque of a twin, valve area of a 4 cylinder.
Sharpsdoublerifle sounds like a v4 to me nothing like a 360 twin it actually fires similar to a 180 to get the torque as a 360 twin is more of a buzz box. The twin which develops the most torque is a 90 degree twin or 270 degree twin as some people like to call them.
What a petty comment, the bikes were a lot slower than today’s bike. He was the fastest at that time and beat Robert & Joey Dunlop that year! This isn’t a dig a the Dunlop’s, I’m a massive fan, it’s a dig at someone sticking their chest out on someone else’s achievements and getting it wrong!
if everyone knew about his massive handicap he would be known as cheater champion he was riding 1299 cc against 1000cc and thats why he won all those titles
@@erikvanlaar8110 if hes on about his WSBK titles in the 1990s then no hes chatting shit, WSBK Rules stated you could have 750cc 4cylinders or you could run 2 cylinder 1000cc, Ducati went with the V/L2 as we all know and it was better then everyone elses 750cc I/V4s of the time
A real man indeed, respect to you Foggy...

A true motorcycle racer legend. My all time favorite racer 👍🏍️.

”Pull on the bars, get the front wheel up and make it handle a bit better”😂😂😂
Watching Karl ‘The king’ Fogarty made me love riding on the road. The bravest rider I’ve ever watched.
Carl
Thanks for taking me on that ride Carl!!
Foggy... un gran pilota.... sei e sarai per sempre un mito...😎😎😎
lol 0:28 "give it a pull on the bars, lift the front wheel up, that makes it handle better" lol
Fvkin Amazed You would know better than Foggy right? Smh.
Every rider pulls on the handle bars at that section and guess what they always have but obviously you know better because you've rode it how many times exactly?
That’s what it takes to do this kinda thing... and big, big balls.
Next time I get pulled over for a wheelie I'll tell the police it makes it handle better.
😂👌
Love these TT vids
Can’t believe how fast, friggin scary but amazing!
WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Super smooth !!!!!!
Would really love to see the whole lap that'd be amazing. Massive Foggy fan.

Ja, de tijd dat Yamaha 750s nog serieuze machines waren.
Je kan het je nu niet meer voorstellen.
Alleen Suzuki is consequent 750’s blijven maken.
Mesmerizing watching the wheel go up and down while the shock absorbs it and the body stays stable
Does anyone know what dates the 1990 TT was on?
Wow,you Guys are f...ing awesome and crazy,and I love it🙄👍Respect👌
The Blackburn Lad makes it look so easy, But we all know, it isn't .The 92 TT with Hislop was the best ever, going toe to toe with Foggy,

Balls of steel
Sounds like a RC30 V4 insn't it???
Greetings from Nürburgring!!!
What bike is he ridding? Sounds like a twin.
Fogarty = ducati = twin
+giulio alessi Actually I looked it up. It's not a Ducati or a twin. It's a Honda RC30 V4.
It sounds like a twin because it has a 360 degree crank, effectively it's a twin as both front cylinders fire at the same time then the rear at the same time. Torque of a twin, valve area of a 4 cylinder.
honda rc30 v4 i was there

Foggy number 1 🤘☝
amazing
Back marker was going too slow at 150 so I overtook him.
Ugggghh full lap anywhere??
I've got no problem riding fast on a track but I just don't have the balls to do the TT.
All that on a diet of rice and beans.......
carl fogarty,on ducati,of course.world record in isle of man.it remains 'till our days
Is he the only TT rider to become good (well, outstanding) at circuit racing?
foggy legend
Ducati bike ?
Unbelievable 😅
I want to bring Carl with me everywhere I go! To keep me calm in traffic going to the grocery store.
That was scary 😃
allo.if Raikonnen is iceman, what about the eyes from Fogarty?my Godness.just ice!!
Who wants to be a back seat passenger on this? Bring some spare underwear lol
Great rideing ! But imagine a deer or something crossing over and hitting it ! (Game over)
Apparently deer became extinct on the island in 2015 🤷♂️
Titanium balls, big'ns at that ;0D
Fukin Hell!
Shat myself just watching it
Slow compared to Dunlop these days.
