Do you have a parts list for this? Im looking to do exactly this but dont know where to start yet, dont want to consider a turbo kit until i do some other things first so im more so interested in what you were able to take off of the 2.0l evo x and put on the 2.4l lancer
I've been looking around, I've seen a few stock turbo kits from the ralliart for ~ $700-850. You still have to weld a bung on the oil pan for the turbo oil line, and tune or swap the ECU. I personally wouldn't trust a lot of the info in this video just based on a couple of the statements made, but this guy has done at least one more lancer turbo swap than me. And the camera guy obviously didn't have a clue, the air ride tanks in the back seat changed to NAWS (or in correct terminology a Nitrous Oxide Systems N...O...S... branded nitrous kit) in a couple of seconds with only a sticker 😂

Short answer, no. If you don't care if it blows, ebay turbos are 'legit'....going to fail. These days there are turbo rebuilders and makers all over the place. Just buy a nicer turbo its worth not having to fuck with that manifold and heatshield bs more than necessary.

hey i have an 09 es ive been having an issue when im on the freeway ill drive for awhile the an then i get a loud whinning sound an i lose power i replaced the 2 front 02 sensors an stop that issue for awhile now its back could it be the 3rd 02 sensor causing the problem
4g69 2.4 is quite usable, see mighty car mods. Its not an evo though.Id probably do this with a td05 If I didn't own an evo. A rwd lancer with 6g75 could be fun
Had my motor overhaul but they had a hard time getting parts ,it took them 4 months to get done ,but I'm missing parts and the value cover missing a bolt and it don't look like it's tighten down ,I haven't installed it due to missing apart ..I pull motor with all the parts still on motor ,got it back with missing bracket s and tensioner s
EFT Mods & Tuning yeah I’m not longer gonna be tuning it because I have a broken case? Cover? Idk what it is know it covers the crank and the oil is stored in there... it’s 2008 and mine is auto 2012, so I’m not sure if it fits....so I don’t have car now hahaha

So the wiring harness in the standard 2009 lancer won't need to be moded to take the running gear from Evo 10
