- I had been stressed over the last few weeks, and I feel I needed to be honest with my viewers and share what has been happening. I won’t go into details and mention anyone…
I am ok and I’ll get through this. I thank all my viewers for always being there for me.
People like that are weak and afraid of their own insecurities. You are one strong and inspiring lady, don`t let them get you down.

I was terrified at first that you were going to announce the death of a dog, family member or friend. All of us out here are certainly behind you and your cabin build, will do whatever we can to prop you back up after the world deals you a blow like this, and will continue to watch, listen and love as long as you can broadcast and beyond. You were made strong and beautiful to survive this wilderness, including the tough parts - so chin up. Maybe it's time to make some of the special tea or biscuits-and-jam and just sit by the fire for a couple of hours ... take care

I worked for the Better Business years ago as an information specialist so I've heard all kinds of situations you can call the BBB and make a complaint..generally it gets resolved and notifies others of a person or business to watch out for...it acts as a mediator as well to get the problem solved....as you know not everyone is on the up & up in business....you'll get thu this as you have all the right determination and follow thu.....
Just remember only takes one person to see or hear this video and someone will step forward...remember all the good things people have done and all those who are there for you...your loving sister right beside you...and plenty of people who care for you & about you..sorry you got hurt...life is not fair and people will disappoint us... pray for them anyway and watch the good that can come out of a not so good situation...bless you sweet one....God's speed!!

Dear Lisette, I'm very sorry that you're going though a difficult time. It hurts me to see how this has affected you. I totally understand about trusting people. I'm the same way! I have had issues with contractors since moving here to Florida. The last being not finishing work cause by hurricane Ian, which was paid for. I have learned my lesson for sure. There is no need for you to apologize for the way you feel or you trying to express your emotions in regard to whatever issues have been stressing you. I get it about those who try to take advantage of others, have had people do that to me way back when so I know where you are coming from. I've been watching and enjoying your channel for a little over a year. I've not commented before. But this video, so moved me, that I am compelled to comment. If I understand what you are saying, I'm thinking one of the contractors or the people who have been doing work on your property has taken unfair advantage of you. In what capacity, I don't know. But you come across as a sincere, genuine, decent human being, and your doggos love you, and doggos aren't wrong. Your heart felt emotions are real, and my heart goes out to you. I have lived twice as long as you, and I wish I had some great words of wisdom I could share with you. I've been where you are, and it's a gut-wrenching, horrible feeling to find out you've been taken advantage of, betrayed, and / or misled and / or lied to. Not knowing your situation makes it challenging to say something that will be helpful. What I've come to realize over the years is that I'm more wary and careful in my dealings with people I don't know. I do my due diligence and research people, Yelp reviews, or customer satisfaction reviews, shop around. Then, when I do interact with people performing services, I get written quotes or bids. As far as getting past and through difficult situations as you are currently experiencing, family, good friends, and time, hopefully will be what lifts you up and gives you strength to carry on. As I said, my heart goes out to you Lisette.

Dear Lisette, I feel your pain so deeply as I have experienced this more times than I can count. It seems these kinds of people do target the kind hearted of this world. It's tough to have to accept this. As a single woman who also lives alone in a very secluded home it can be quite a challenge to do everything ourselves. We are forced sometimes to reach out and it doesn't seem to work out well. I could write a book on this subject but I want you to know you are not alone in these negative experiences.. your a strong woman and I know you will continue to move forward as I do my best everyday as well. I love TV series like Twilight Zone, Ray Bradbury Theater and, of course, series/movies based on Stephen King books. Paradogically, sometimes, remembering good times of the past can make us feel sad in the present because maybe we didn't appreciate those enough when they were happening. I won't change who I am but I now set boundaries with people in general and if they continue to cross those boundaries then I no longer allow them in my inner circle. Dear Lisette - I feel your pain. My eldest grandson has today flew to the other side of the globe to work for two years and didn’t bother to come and say goodbye especially as we were very close with him from birth and my husband is very ill following chemotherapy and an operation for oesophagus cancer. My grandson might never see either of us again and he must bear his own conscience - if he has one. I never ever thought that he would do this. Lisette, we are both strong minded women and we will not let them beat us. Stay strong.

Hello from Michigan I don't know who is stressing you out but we are all here for you no matter what and I absolutely love your videos I'm 57 years old in a nursing home with stage 4 COPD and I have 10 % lung capacity and on 4.5 liter's of oxygen and I'm already hooked up with hospice you worry about you and whoever is messing with you on utube back them sweetheart.

People these days are so untrustworthy and I watch both your dogs and think how much better the world would be if we all had heart like them, so genuine and caring for life.
Life is hard and someone who is suffering with depression and anxiety cannot explain what to face but is understood by those that are suffering with it. I say it comes in waves of the sea and you have good days and bad days, up and down but gradually the tide will turn and change and you be in a better place that you didn't see how far you've come. If a contractor has not followed through with a job they were hired for, at the very least is there an agency in your province that you can file a consumer complaint with.
