Ballade is one of the BEST Robot Master's in existance.
Not only is he technically Bass's predecessor (Bass is my favourite), but he's shown the one thing that all sentient beings have hidden in their "hearts", the Capacity for Change.
Saving Mega Man's life after failing to destroy him twice is the perfect end to his own life, especially considering the only thing he knew how to do was kill.

I like to think that this Ballade isn't actually Ballade. A Robot Master can be rebuilt numerous times as long as their IC chip us intact. And, as far as we know, Ballade sacrificed himself. Meaning his IC chip was destroyed. Wily may have rebuilt his body, but the IC chip is where his soul lies within. Without it, he's just an empty puppet.
Really makes you think. It's probably quite sad for Mega Man, having to defeat the now soulless husk of his old enemy turned friend.

Wow. Everytime I hear this theme, I just think about its sadness, but you managed to make it something more, like everything else you do. This theme shows the strength and the heart of Ballade, and now truly, I will never forget his sacrifice. Farewell to Ballade, Hello to Renegade.

I wonder if the music composers knew that MM10 was going to be the last classic Mega Man for some time when they composed this. I somehow don't think so, but whether not they did, they could hardly have done a better swan song (pun not intended).

@@MarsJenkar At the time it was actually planned to be the last Mega Man ever. With stuff like the Gameboy stages and bosses, even along with their weapons being unlockable. The Weapon Archive System, Bass and Proto Man both being playable. This along with the specific atmosphere the cutscenes give and the introduction starting with the years all of the previous entries in the series were released (Also a refrencd to the Japanese Version of Mega Man 7 listing all previous entries and the years they were released which was strangelyremoved in the international release.) further points at it being the planned last entry.

Hey, am I the only one having trouble downloading this from 4shared? I try to click download but it just sends me to a page saying the link is invalid.
Apparantly 4shared has blocked me for infringing copyrights (I didnt even upload any soundtracks on that account, only my own remixes). And Zippyshare and Depositfiles have limits to how big the ZIP file is allowed to be.Any suggestions for alternative File Hosting sites would be much appreciated

Since the files are 320kbps, the album exceeds the 200MB file size limit. DepositFiles is a possible alternative I can upload at some point, and I have yet to make a new MediaFire account because of the copyright shenanigans they pull taking down links.
