I'm exactly the same - I seem so reserved and cold on the outside but i'm mad when you get to know me haha! That's why I found it felt so weird to put myself out there and try make friends this year! I just made a first year uni experience video too if you're interested :)
your advice was so good! i'm so glad you mentioned about the weight gain, i genuinely thought it was just me who'd gained weight and it took me so long to realise that it was from going on nights out so often haha! subscribed💕

Rabz 99 certain accommodations are known for housing more quiet students, also international students tend to be more focused on education so maybe choose accommodation that caters to those types and you will probably get on with the people more. Also join societies that will probably have the more nerdy type - not to stereotype but you know what I mean you will probably get on with those types. Don’t worry uni is full of all types of people

Errmmmm, I wouldn't say so, you just have to make the effort to talk to people, I take a while to get to know people and I've made some of my closest friends at uni! Everyone makes friends unless you're a person that doesn't want to, so I wouldn't worry about that!

it's not a bad thing, just make sure youre extra chatty to your course mates so you make friends as i think it's probably harder to make friends if youre not living at uni! x

You can join societies and all that, don't worry everyone finds their friends even if it takes a few weeks!! It took me me a while to get really close to people xx

Hiiii!! Ahh that's amazing, you deffo should go for it, lincolns small but really nice and homely. It's not the most progressive city haha but it's a nice place to live, most students don't stay there after uni though. The uni campus is so so nice, easy to get around and there's always a really friendly atmosphere and people to ask when you need help, the library is so nice too and it's right next to the river xx
