If your first year flatmates are anything like mine, you may become really close with them and all end up sharing your kitchen stuff anyway. By the end of the year we shared everything and no one was bothered if we used something that was someone elses, just as long as we ensured it was clean when we were finished with it. Also, if your'e living in accomodation where your kitchen and bathroom are cleaned weekly for you, like mine, then you are not allowed to bring your own bleach or use it as we were told it reacts badly with chemicals used by the cleaners, therefore it was always removed from us during room checkts. However, this may be different for your accomodation. First year will honestly be one of the best moments of your life, just remember to have fun, because trust me uni goes so quickly.
I just wanted to say it might be a good idea to get a mattress topper which just makes the bed a little comfier. It was such a good idea when I went to uni last year! Hope you have an amazing time x

Sainsbury's home stuff I swear !! I bought my uni bedding from there last year and this year I've gone back and bought the pink desk file and the popper wallets you showed ! Also have that paperchase planner too, it's so cute 👏🏼
Also some advice, defo take all your cutlery! I started the year with 8 sets of each ... knife, fork and spoon and only ended up with 3 in the end... no idea where it went as I never lost anything else but cutlery in uni kitchens just seems to go somewhere to die 😂😂

The Crafty Flamingo TCF yep those expensive £4 each glasses will dye in freshers, I recommend some cheap IKEA or Tesco glasses cause firstly 2 glasses isn't enough and they will smash

i'm about to go into my third year of uni, and if there's anything i would recommend it would be to take all the cutlery in that set, not just a few of each, because it will definitely go missing throughout the year!

How funny, My mum got me the exact same one when i moved to uni for the same reason haha xD its so sharp! i did end up cutting myself quite deep in the thumb from being silly and holding an onion while trying to scoop out the inside... silly isabella >.< be careful with that thing aha
Hey! Love this video but as a second year I can safely say you're going to need more than two of each cutlery, I'd say at least 5 or 6, you'll often lose them if you pack lunch or your roommates may borrow them and then strangely disappear 🙄 good luck at uni! X
I know what you mean about wooden chopping boards! I feel all weird and horrible using wooden spoons/utensils so I bought plastic/metal/silicone ones for when i start uni this year :)
I'm doing university applications atm but idk if I'm going to my city's uni or if I'm moving away ahh.. if I end up moving then this was helpful as you got stuff I wouldn't have even thought about :o hahha x

I would say maybe take all the cutlery as not going to lie some of mine got lost and its always better to have more! I somehow lost like 2 forks hahahah.
