Keep up the good work! I recently found your channel and I like the format that you have between you two. I got my first 3d printer in 2017 (a mono price select mini) and now I’m looking for a new machine. Even though I like to tinker with my other gadgets and stuff, I am looking at the full size A1 for the multicolor and the simplicity. I don’t know much about Temu other than a few ads on UA-cam that came across as a little scammy, but if you can find some useful 3d printers or parts on there then I am not opposed to them sponsoring a video and seeing how the audience reacts. Happy New Year to you and your family, looking forward to your content in 2024!

I would definitely add the Qidi X-Smart3 to the $300 category. $299 right now at their website, 5% off coupon available, free shipping. Hi, in the last few weeks, I've been searching for content on UA-cam to help me choose my first 3D printer, and I wanted to tell you that in my opinion, your videos are among the best out there, so thank you very much! In particular, you convinced me to go for a Sidewinder X3 Pro. However, I noticed on their website that the pre-order for the X4 Pro was available at a great price (269$). Despite the lack of reviews and opinions on UA-cam, I went ahead and pre-ordered it. Do you think I made the right choice, or should I have played it safe and stuck with the X3 Pro? Thank you so much for your content, I hope your channel grows big. I think the quality of your videos is much higher than that of other channels with many more subscribers!

I’ve bought loads off Temu and it’s pot luck what you end up with in quality or just product description is optimistic.
No matter what you budget for a printer you will spend x20 that in filament, you always want a new colour or need a certain material and good filament costs money. I just got a Bambu lab A1 with ams but I am not using Bambu labs filament. My go to filament is Polymaker Polyterra which the A1 prints extremely well as they have a built in filament profile on the A1 and it’s amazing. I do have some Bambu filament on order so it will be interesting to compare them.

Essentially V3 SE, only with Klipper (sort of), linear rails on both x and y axis, filament runout sensor, PEI build plate and all metal hotend with excellent cooling for 280$ in the US. On the other hand I wouldn't be surprised that you avoided CR-10 SE even if you tried it and if it is a great printer (personal experience) because it is simply at a bad price point. It offers not much extra compared to V3 KE, and much less than Bambulab A1 at a price 350-460$

I believe we’ll see updates in February and March from a couple of companies. I know some specific dates but those have already slipped back once, so not sure if they are accurate.
If you can hold out, it isn’t bad to see what comes, but if you are just getting into printing or need that machine right away, I wouldn’t wait, or you could always be waiting for what’s around the corner!

Watch out on Sovol machines. My SV06 started breaking piece by piece before a year passed. I've got a heat bed replaced and the display and main board are next in line. Was just a hobby printer, not a print farm, long running machine.

I see March 20 2024 Qidi Tech will unveil new 3d printer no info available only a pic at their website! Very curious, I love my XSmart3 hope this is a new large format pro, dual extruder? The Qidi Techs are way less cost and larger build area with 600mm/s speeds than the Bambu Labs and has heated interiors on Smart series largest models. On Smart3 I get fast and flawless prints non stop. Curious on their new release on 2o March!

I am looking for a new hobby and have been plowing through all these creator videos on 3D printing - what a rabbit hole it is!
I was hoping this video would also speak to resin printers. I eventually want to print 20 - 50 cm figures and all that I am seeing tells me resin is the way to go for better detail. Is what I am seeing/hearing incorrect? Can filament printers produce equal quality?

I bought some 250g rolls of pla & tpu from Temu, not bad at all. I've looked at the printers on there and the only benefit is offering a few unique ones and a bunch of minis. Actually some of the laser engravers for around or under $100 look nifty. Often their "normal" printers are actually more expensive than other sites when you actually click on it though which turns many away. Maybe accept the offer from temu and do some testing, have them send some of the more popular super cheap bitty printers. Maybe some upgrade or parts testing from Temu, filaments of course. Go crazy my man!

Hey LM! Awesome video, as always. I would stay away from Temu! Nothing but shady practices and scams hidden behind a heavy layer of (annoying) marketing. I'm looking for a printer that's fairly reliable in order to make models and desktop toys. I'm deciding between the A1 (standalone) and the Flashforge Adventurer M5 (non-pro) - both $399. I was leaning towards the A1, but the security of Bambu Labs just puts me off too much; and I've heard that Core-XY machines can provide better print and surface quality over bedslingers. Have you had any experience with the FF M5 or related products?

Enjoyed this video, but I have to disagree with several machines mentioned that I've owned. The JG Maker is the better over the Creality , the KLP1 from Kingroon is OUCH...mine has not been able to print now for over 1month while working with the tech at Kingroon, I'm disgusted with the machine, they managed to send me the wrong repair parts, the list is very long now with issues. The KLP1 is turning into a long list of problems since it arrived here. I've gone thru more than 10 nice 3d printers this year, owned 3d printers since 2014 and run a small print farm besides the reviews. Temu has thousands of consumer complaints, I would stay away from them. Keep up the good reviews / shows. We had the artillery X2 Pro here and it was VERY good.
