Akki Im going to grade 11 this year and trying to use your timetable... After removing my tuition classes and after school activities from the schedule I have only 44 hours left (without resting time) for 8 subjects😭... I didnt count english because it has never been a problem for me and just revising the grammar a day before has been fine for me getting 90s for that. But other subjects, would dividing those into roughly 4 hours for each subject per week really be fine? At the same time ols for our batch is in december but my goal is 9As...
Nanga… mine was just like yours when I was in Grade 10 and the first months of Grade 11… bcz I also did a lot of extra curricular activities… But I never got bad marks during my O/L journey… However, in the last 4-5 months… I postponed all my extra curricular activities to focus more on my studies… Even the school gave us excuses to postpone our extra curricular activities when exams were near… Ofc you can get 9As… but you shouldn’t skip your clzes… You have to balance your academics… That means you need to stay awake and work harder than other students… Yes… it’s okay to divide 4h per week for each subject… And if you get free periods… you can use that time to finish your homework… so you’ll have more time for self-study at home… Also… if you are attending too many clzes… you need to think about whether they are really helping you… or just taking up your time… Balance is key…

I totally understand uu...science can be really hard if u don’t like it. But trust me, the first step is to change ur mindset. If u don’t like a subject, u won’t want to study it, and if u don’t study, u won’t get good marks....It’s that simple...Start by doing small practices, especially past papers, and try to find ways to enjoy it. Once you start to understand it, you’ll feel more confident, and it’ll get easier.... So, first, try to like what you’re learning ..that’s the key! 🤷🏻♀️🥰
