You know she reminds me a lot of Saint Martin de Porres of Peru. He was also of mixed race black and Spanish. He also came around the time when the Spanish had conquered the natives of Peru and there were also black slaves. It was around the 15th century. St Martin had learned how to be a barber and in those days the barber was also a medicine man. So he learned a lot about herbs and used his skill to heal everyone around him. This is very similar to Marie Laveau. Many people came from everywhere to get a blessing from Saint Martin because they knew he had miraculous powers. Of course he was a lay brother in a monastery but they wouldn't let him become a priest or even a monk because of his color. Anyway I just thought I'd mention him because he's so similar to Marie Laveau only instead of North America he was in South America. It seems to me that God sends these Souls to the Earth during difficult times to raise the people up all the people. Marie Laveau was one of those Souls sent by God. Bc I have no ass no hips and my body is weak and birthing children was so hard on my body.
