Mrs Marie laveau the mother of spiritual healing The Queen Of VooDoo Of New Orleans Big Respect Mrs Marie laveau 👑🌹 Big Respect Dr John Rest N Paradise OG
The Night Tripper put me in a trance playing this in New Orleans one night. So grateful I got to see him live. RIP. And eternally grateful for working in a Voodoo shop in NOLA. Greatest job duty was walking to the flower shop in the mornings to buy flowers for Marie's altar at the shop. No more magical place in all the world than momma NOLA.
John gris takes care of my psychedelic live since 40 years i never would take another doctor. this music is the strongest religion and the only true one.believe him and your life will be fascinating as long as your soul is clean. in full respect of this wonder woman 40 years.MARIE LAV EAUX.if its your way listen to WITCHY RED when the saints, Litanie des saints. And believe what this doc says.THANKS JOHN. thanks to GOD for this music and any time i can listen to.
I visited new Orleans earlier this month, this place is like no other in the U.S. just the history and blend of cultures I was fortunate enough to visit the voodoo museum and got some insight as to her influence and importance to new Orleans.
I love introducing Dr. John's music to those that haven't heard it. This song, Walk on Gilded Splinters, show the spiritual side and the NOLA experience.
Listening to this is so fine! The original recording made by Papa Celestine too if most excellent! This is one rare example of what is known as a jazz ballad of which there are few examples extant. Lovely!
Marie Laveau was not her real name. It is also NOT on her crypt. She was married to a Glapion is is interred under that name in St. LOuis cemetary. It is not difficult to find her grave as it is inundated with an array of pouches and chicken bones and crosses made with old red brick amoung other items. Also Dr. John is khis show business name. He given and family name is Malcolm Rebennack.
@footcheck: Such a great vid; such an amazing tune. It's making me crazy that the audio is so overmodulated. I've watched several of your other postings and the problem seems limited to this one. Any chance you'd consider taking the time to reupload?
