Of course he was a lay brother in a monastery but they wouldn't let him become a priest or even a monk because of his color. Anyway I just thought I'd mention him because he's so similar to Marie Laveau only instead of North America he was in South America. It seems to me that God sends these Souls to the Earth during difficult times to raise the people up all the people. Marie Laveau was one of those Souls sent by God.
