That Mecha Streisand episode was one of my favorites. Being a Godzilla fan for thirty-four years I felt it hit all the right spots for a monster movie parody.
Night of the Living Homeless has got to me one of my most favorite episodes ever. My god... How they keep telling Kyle to knock it off and he gets so pissed off cracks me UP. And frickin Randy, back before he was overused... "I don't have any chaaaange" Love, love, *love* that episode!
Watched South Park when it just started. Saw the movie on opening night, and went back to the theaters to watch it again and again. Still watching and now with my teen and husband. South Park will never die as long as life happens, and I'll still be watching.
Anybody else think randy deserves a spin off? Like based on his day to day life at work and Whole Foods?? It’ll be a perfect way to induce character development for the annoying cashier at Whole Foods ,his boss Nelson and other co workers. I think that’ll be hilarious

you are right, but for me armageddon pops into my mind whenever i remember Cartmen and his team of misfits getting ready to do what has to be done. We can probably agree that there are more than one movie where the heroes have to use an oversized drill to save the day tho.
What about when they parodied Raiders Of The Lost Ark? They poked fun at George Lucas changing his films from the theatrical release and it even ends the same way as when they open the ark in the movie with everyone dying unless you don’t look at the film 😂

Honorable Mentions: *Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark - Free Hat - Tons of people are killed by an updated version of the film a la Ark of the Covenant. It basically was full of Ewoks, those were so out of place. *How the Grinch Stole Christmas - Cartmanland - "If theres one thing I cant stand, it's all the lines, lines, lines, LIIIIIIIIINES!" *Terminator 2: Judgement Day - Cartoon Wars Part 1 - Kyle's nightmare parodies the nuclear nightmare scene. *Star Wars: Episode 1 - Jakovasaurs - Not really a film parody as such, but rather particular characters. Jar Jar Stinks is a loud, clumsy, stupid, out of place, and a generally annoying character. HE is everything the Jakovasaurs were meant to be a parody of.
"Kripple Fight" had the shot for shot fight scene from They Live, how did you guys miss that one? I would like to see a list of South Park Literary References, there have been some pretty clever ones over the years like "Britney's New Look" doing the ending of The Lottery, or "Over-Logging" doing the scene from Grapes of Wrath.

Then when Butters decides to come back his father thinks he arose from the dead and locks him in the basement where he constantly gets fed humans even though he's acting normal. Like in Pet Sematary.
